I came here initially to get sunglasses but decided to do an eye exam and discovered I actually need minor corrective lenses. This would be my first time getting or wearing glasses so I was reluctant at first But Varun was so incredibly helpful and took quality time in helping me decide on a pair that worked well for me, remaining patient the whole time even though I am the most indecisive person. The store had been closed for 30 minutes and he didn’t even say anything, he wanted me to feel comfortable and not rushed. There are so many Optical Stores that there is zero reason to go here. Choose a place with free contact samples and competitively priced glasses! I chose to come here because it looked clean/new. When I went for my eye exam it was rushed by Dr.Soomah. I then saw the employees help a man who was not wearing a mask, which makes you worry when there is a pandemic. Today I finally went into the store to pick up a contact sample (the store had called multiple times to remind me which I found strange). I had spoken to an employee about the lenses before and was told there would be no fee (I specifically remember asking). Today, they tried to charge me 40$ for a contact sample. This is so dishonest. Either they try to hide the charge from customers or they are picking and choosing who they charge. I then called an Optical Store down the street with free samples. Their glasses are also priced higher than other stores and online.
