This business is new but is a local one and run by a friendly husband and wife team. I was treated with excellent courtesy. In fact, I'd forgotten about my appointment and received a call 40 minutes afterwards informing me that I was late but could still visit. Going through a week without glasses I really appreciated this. I wanted a thorough eye exam (a retinal scan could be done on the spot to find any obvious issues) and the purchase of a new set of glasses. Both the optometrist and the doctor were knowledgeable and not only addressed all my immediate needs but also took a longer term view and suggested next steps. There was no rush or pressure to purchase expensive options. The equipment was state-of-the-art. Since my lenses were in stock, they could be crafted quickly and I received my glasses the next day. In summary, I got exactly what I needed, appreciated the personal touch that goes with a local business and will certainly be coming back again.

Edited to add: I was at the store today when the other reviewers Stephanie and Mike were there (they were there together). Even before her exam, Stephanie was making a big fuss and had a terrible attitude. She stormed out of the exam room shouting to all that she refused to pay and making a terrible fuss. I really felt sorry for the owners who did their best to understand what was going on and to address it. I want to add that all COVID measures were respected, everyone wore a mask and the exam room was specifically cleaned before my eye exam (which was before Stephanie's) and the room was clean. I don't know what she is talking about. Please don't let her and Mike's reviews scare you off. It's really a lovely place and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

After making our appointments on the phone, we arrived and discovered that they were missing information in the file that had already been provided (ie. full last name, DOB, etc.). After waiting over 30 minutes after the actual appointment time, I was then brought into the exam room, which clearly hadn't been disinfected between clients as there was visible dirt on the chair. Then, after the exam, I was informed by the doctor that she wouldn't confirm my PD as they clearly don't want clients to buy their glasses online. When I told my husband, the doctor then came to us and passive aggressively said she's sorry I didn't like her exam. The staff was very rude overall, from the moment we walked in and especially as we were leaving. I made this appointment because other local optometrists were booking for January and not the next week, and I now understand why it's worth the wait.
