So impressed by my last visit there!!! I have bought glasses at this location twice now. Always received friendly, professional service from the staff. I have checked optical stores all over town and each time I find something at Laurier. **They have such a large selection of frames in different styles and reasonable prices!** My glasses came in quickly and never had any problems or complaints. Staff were knowledgeable and answered my questions without unnecessary info you get from other places. This is a great place to go to when looking for glasses for yourself or any family member, definitely recommend!! Will be going back again for sure!

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I went here because they had a promotion on glasses I wanted to take advantage of so I got my eyes checked too. I saw Dr. Wu, one she gave me the wrong prescription and two she assessed my the prescription on my glasses incorrectly. My glasses are -4.5 and -4. She told me they were -5.0. I had my eyes rechecked by a clinic who does laser eye surgeries, so they did a much more thorough check up, they told me my correct prescription. One of the ladies that works there is just plain rude, she was just trying to make her sale and not giving me the correct honest educated opinion (which I later got from my regular doc). I asked my regular eye doctor about the brand of lenses used by Laurier Optical, and she said that it’s a terrible brand, even a no name brand is better than the one they use ( I think it’s called Essilar). I don’t know about other doctors here but don’t see Dr. Wu. I’ve had glasses for a very long time now so I know when someone’s not doing things right. I didn’t feel comfortable there.

Don't ever get glasses from there. The guy who was doing my fitting knew nothing and did it wrong, so I had to go back and get it done again. I paid for anti scratch and never got it on my glasses, they got scratched about a week after I got them. I was told to come back later, cause they refused to do anything about it well under the warranty. Worst place to get glasses ever

I didn't purchase my glasses from there, only because there wasn't anything that I loved, but the eye exam was one of the best I've ever had done. The doctor spent at least an hour with me (complicated situation) and helped me decide what was best. Customer service was exceptional as well.

Came in for an eye exam. She said she had an opening at 12:50pm, I arrive the person took down my details and charged me the $95 for the eye exam and said comeback at 1:50pm for the exam as the doctor was not here and would be back shortly, I arrive at the storefront at 1:48pm she calls me to say if I could come back at 2:15PM as the doctor was not back yet. OK, came back at 2.14PM, and waited till 2.35PM, and they said he would arrive shortly. I decided to ask for my money back. They charged me in ADVANCE the examination so as for me to comeback. Elsewhere you pay your doctor at the end of the consultattin, your dentist, your grocery store, your shoe shop but HERE they LOCK YOU IN. Better places elsewhere DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE !!!!

This was my first time in Laurier Optical definitely not my last time! Almost immediately I was greeted by the store manager and asked how they could help me. I handed my glasses to Lily (Store Manager). She put new nose pads and did adjustments with no charge. I couldn't have planned out a better experience! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses off these guys, 1 that would be strictly worn at work, and 1 pair that was to be worn casually, so the representative suggested, we add protection to the lenses, made sense at the time, up until I realized the lenses of my work glasses were actually getting pretty scratched up, and so easily compared to my other pair that was protected, so fair to say, either it was forgotten, but overall, how complicated can it be, installing lenses?

I was honestly so disappointed in the costumer service here. I was browsing for frames for almost 40-50 min and had no one help me. There were only two customers at the store at the time, and one employee that worked with customers. But for some reason that employee decided to completely ignore me and rather focus all of her time on the other customer. She could have easily helped us both by taking shifts, but that didn't happen. It was only when i was ready to pay that i was "helped", and i had to go find someone on my own and tell them i wanted to buy a pair of lenses. If i was able to give them zero stars, trust me i would, the only reason i bought my lenses here was simply because I liked the frames.

We came in with broken glasses..we were sure a new pair was necessary..but Diane was able to fix the glasses, for free!! In only 15 minutes..she was wonderful. And actually...the glasses are better adjusted than ever. Support this excellent business!

I walked in to your store in Heartland Mississauga this evening to check if I can get a partial eye exam (only to get a prescription update) real quick and was advised that the optometrist will be free to see me in 20 mins. I wandered about in adjacent stores and returned for my appointment. The sales lady assumed I was going to get a "full exam" but I clarified that I just needed a partial one. She proceeds to "educate" the salesman who took my appointment down in the first place that he should've let the optometrist know that this was a "partial" exam so he/she could prioritize "full exam" patients WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE!! I simply walked out....Rude and unprofessional customer service, wouldn't recommend this optical store or the Optometrist Dr. Basra to anyone considering it.

I booked an appointment and was quite excited. I spoke to Bob who had told me 4:20 PM and I showed up early at 4:10. They told me the doctor left and I explained my appointment was for 4:20. They said there's nothing they can do. Appointments are booked up to end of August and I cancelled my shift and cancelled the three appointments I had booked in August. Went here for an eye exam. Everyone was helpful. I felt the eye exam was done well. However when I asked for my interpupillary distance the doctor refused to give it to me. I researched what is the law in Quebec and this measurement is part of the dispensing of eyewear and not part of the eye exam. However I did notice that she made this measurement but she just refused to give it to me. I have read a lot of commentaries from Optometrists and other professionals but I feel this is more about protecting their business and less about eye health.

They picked their frames without any pressure from the staff and then while going through our paperwork they were thorough. We went to pick up the glasses the next day! I was sincerely grateful for wonderful service after the arm fell off of my brand new glasses when I damaged them badly by dropping them. The owner replaced the hole frame at no cost but the delivery service which was next to nothing. When I purchased my glasses I added the anti-glare and scratch resistant package. I later noticed one of my lenses was scratched so I returned to the store to have it replaced since I had purchased this convenient package. Surprise, surprise!!! the scratch resistant package doesn't cover ''these kinds of scratches''... What's the point of purchasing this package if scratches aren't covered???? I left the store saying this was my last business with them and the nice gentlemen which I suspect is the owner, remarks ''no problem ma'am, we have plenty more customers''. Now that's customer service for ya!

My wife needed to see an optometrist urgently for an eye infection and after talking to many other stores Laurier optical was the only one to not only offer to squeeze her in but also call other optometrists that they knew to get her an urgent appointment. Great compassionate service!

I’m extremely disappointed with each of my experiences at this clinic. Not did I find the reception staff to be rude and patronizing, but the services are completely overpriced. I understand that in the Mile End “everything is more expensive”, however this clinic is taking advantage it’s patients which is extremely unethical considering vision care is something we all should have a right to access… I usually don’t post reviews like this, but I would hate for anyone to experience anything similar to what I did.

My Daughter was Very Horribly Treated in Aylmer Quebec where she originally bought her Glasses, Cheap, Out of Date Frames, she was told by Laurier Optical in Hull where she went to have her Glasses adjusted as she would no longer Deal with Aylmer. She had to have one of Lenses replaced as her Eyes had changed within the two months since her original Purchase, she was told by the Optometrist in Hull. Her next Glasses were from NewLook, at the Plateau, as by now she had her fill of Laurier Optical and all of their B.S. Poor Customer Service, Bad Managerial Pratices, and this bit of not giving people there Prescriptions after they Pay for them is unbelievable. I would recommend Laurier no one The Forgie Family

I am appalled by the way I was treated by this horrible business. I have been a customer of theirs for years and in the past year and a half have been so poorly treated that I finally decided it's time to find another store. In the past, these were my experiences: The first time I was treated poorly by this business was when I ordered contact lenses. I was told the lenses would be in within a weeks time and will be contacted. A week and a half passed by and I called to follow up and was told that they were still in the process of being delivered. I called back to weeks later and was told again that they were on their way and would be contacted when they arrived. After a month went by I called very frustrated because I needed the contacts for a wedding and was told that the order was lost!!!!! They resubmitted my order and I finally received it after a couple weeks! The second horrible experience with Laurier was earlier this year when I went with my husband to look at glasses. The employee assisting us had us sit by the computer with her as she went through the billing for my insurance. Another employee came and asked for the computer 5 times, each time growing more of an attitude. The employee helping us became frazzled and was trying to hurry up our order. The rude employee came back again for the 6th or 7th time and rolled her eyes and asked that the employee helping us hurry up. I got so fed up I told the employee we do not want the information anymore and left. Recently, I called in a couple days ago to get my prescription emailed to me because I did not want to pay for another check up when I did one with Laurier Optical recently, and whoever I spoke to told me that they did not email prescriptions and hung up. Mind you, I am already used to the hang up treatment by this business because that is how they have responded to me and family members in the past. I called back two days later while at a new store looking at glasses and asked if I can obtain my prescription through fax and was rudely told yes and had my information taken down. The employee further told me that I wouldnt have the prescription faxed over until after 4pm because the doctor had to approve this (absolutely ridiculous). I had to leave the new store and come back later. I called Laurier around 4pm to confirm they faxed over my prescription and was told that there was no notes for this and asked for the information again. After telling them I had already provided all this a few hours prior and to check through their notes again, the employee then told me in a gruntled manner that she just started her shift and has found the prescription and will send it. The prescription was eventually faxed over and when I went to the new store, they asked me for my contact lenses information (i.e. diameter, brand, sphere, etc.). I called Laurier and asked for this information and was asked if I was purchasing lenses with another company. I told them yes and she rudely told me that shes giving it to her manager because she can't give me any information. The manager was completely out of line when she took over the call and told me that it was against the law to provide me with MY OWN contact lenses information. I could not for a second longer take any more of the attitude and horrible treatment from this business and told them that I have been so poorly treated and will never give them my business ever again, nor will my family, and I will make sure that others know of my experience and hung up. The employee at the new clinic heard my frustrations and advised me that I was entitled to my contact lenses information and Laurier is not allowed to withhold that from me. Instead of calling back and having to deal with such horrible employees I have decided to take this matter further up the chain. I cannot believe the treatment I was given and cannot fathom how my own prescription information was kept from me. It's just so unprofessional and disgusting that these employees are getting away with the way they treat their customers. I am absolutely shocked by my experienc

They were very good and attentive with my 7 years old and they suggested to have a second check just to make sure they wouldn’t be prescribing glasses for my kid that were not accurate or necessary. Also, fully served in English (which is great for me).

The first time I went to Laurier Optical in Aylmer, it was for a pair of regular prescription glasses. The service was excellent. The lady gave me all the time I needed to choose a pair of glasses that I liked, and I needed help and time. I received my glasses one week later. It was a beautiful experience. The second time I went was for a pair of sunglasses with prescription lenses. I chose a pair of glasses that I knew were a bit over my usual reserved fashion style, but they where nice and so fashionable. Well, I got what I asked for.But, I was too shy to wear those glasses; not my style as I was afraid. I when back to the store to see if they could help me, if something could be done or if I had to deal with my mistake. And to my great surprise they immediately helped without hesitation! I never experienced such a service. They went above and beyond to make me happy! And today, I have a pair of sunglasses that I feel comfortable with and suit me perfectly.I am completely satisfied! Shortly after I went to get new glasses from them where they gave me a new prescription, I went to my usual eye doctor. There I was told that the new glasses and prescription I’d now been using was too weak for my eyes and would therefore not be beneficial. Another thing was that I was also looking to get contacts from them. I was told they’d be sending off my prescription and I’d hear from them shortly. That was multiple months ago and I never heard from them again. Overall I’d say I’m not happy with their services.

C'est à ce moment que la 2e déception est arrivée. Ma première paire étant au coût de $320, j'avais droit pour la 2e avec leur offre spéciale publicisée à un maximum de $192 offert par Optical Center... Et bien des montures à ce "mini" prix, il y en a très peu chez eux.Ça se limite environ à un pan d'étagère.Tout le reste est FACILEMENT en haut de $220.Plus dans les $300, et même plusieurs montures à $400, $420.Bon alors on va laisser faire ça. Verres de contact alors? NON pas dans l'OFFRE.Lunettes de soleil pour ne pas perdre mon argent mais je n'en porte pas vraiment!

I never wore glasses before but I notived my eye sight was getting worst so I went there for an eye exam and the Doctor there by the name of Philip Boulous started telling me how irresponsable I was to be driving without glasses. Had an appointment for a basic eye exam at 1 PM. I showed up on time and was greeted, was told to take a seat and the doctor will be out shortly. I have been coming here for a couple of years to get glasses, eye test, lenses, etc... and recently my glasses broke but I knew it was fixable for temporary use until I can buy a new pair. I walked in and asked a lady for help, before even understanding what's wrong she walked to the computer and asked me for my information. I told her that i only got the lenses from there. When I told her the issue right away she said it will cost $120 to fix it.. I was confused at it just needed another screw. She said she didn't have anything and could not help me in any way. I told her if she can check the back for the parts and she straight away said no she doesn't have anything. She was no help, and did not seem to want help what so ever. I went across the street to Kanta Optical and the guy was SO nice, he did EVERYTHING he could to help me and fixed it temporary FREE of charge and told me if I need anything else to come back to him. Just go across the street to him and he will give you much better service, don't waste your time with these rude people. They don't help unless you're willing to spend the money everytime you walk in. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!

I booked an appointment with the eye doctor at the Carlingwood location. When I arrived 2 days later, they said they couldn't find the appointment scheduled. A moment later another store employee came over and said that she would serve me. I was taken to the back for a pre-exam and the optometrist came in and did her deed. After receiving the eye glass prescription, it was not even my prescription! I would not trust this company. Save your money and go to a real eye specialist. These people are only their for the numbers game. I tried to find the head office to speak with someone and couldn't find one. All I found were bad reviews about blame shifting. DO NOT GO THERE, FIND A BETTER PLACE! I had the eye exam done at the Mississauga location, but ordered my glasses at a different store/different company. After I picked up my new bifocal glasses I realized that something is wrong, because neither the reading part or the distance worked properly, I just couldn't see. The lenses were checked, properly made followed the eye doctor's instruction. Back to Laurier Optical. The doctor changed the prescription completely, he realized that he did not write me a correct one originally. Now I have to order new lenses, but Laurier Optical is not taking responsibility for their mistake. The store Manager, Juwaria Fatima knows nothing about customer service, it was absolutely useless to talk to her. She was ignorant, did not listen to my concerns and didn't even talk to me when I called back to see how her company is going to handle this situation, just asked her employee to deliver the "bad news". I wouldn't want to work for her......It is too bad, they would just had to replace my lenses or pay for it (since it was their mistake) and I would have written an amazing review about their customer service. Do not go there, find a better place!

When I went for a check up, the doctor was extremely courteous and patient. He answered every question I had and even took the time to explain abnormalities in my eye. We booked an appointment with them in Dec/19 for our sons, all set good to go, they then called us two days before the appointment and said they needed to reschedule, we did, all set to go. Horrible customer service, I do not recommend them at all. First off one of the employees screwed up on my claim paper work and couldn't even answer the question correctly. The end result was her putting in a wrong claim, once someone else with more experience came out to help this employee had the nerve to try and say that it was my fault she filled it out wrong and was completely rude, good thing her superior put her in her place but still inappropriate to do it in front of a customer. She kept of getting distracted and it took over an hour to complete the whole process. I will have to see how long it will know take to recieve my glass. ATTENTION!!!!!! I am a diabetic and was denied my right to have an emergency eye exam. I called for an appointment there was an opening and was being booked into the appointment but after telling them up front I was diabetic, I was denied the appt. Because I was unable to obtain a doctors note due to the office being closed. Despite being able to bring proof of medication that would confirm with my personal ID, I was still denied!!! Since when in 2019 is anyone denied any kind of medical right, compassion, and customer service. I understand that there are requirements but how about compassion and understanding in working with the patient?? My second pair of glasses which I need for distance broke but they were not willing to investigate nor hear why i was important to have this appointment. Why would anyone want to go to a place like this. I did phone around to other places and although there were no openings. I asked if I brought medications would be good enough was told by several that it would be. So what's the real issue here?? The Human Right for Medical treatment denied!!!!!

Avoid them like the plague! Wouldn't even give a star if it were up to me. Garbage service. Like someone else mentioned, you're treated like a number. Actually in our case, it was worse! They speak bare minimum french and dare tell people to move to another country! The owner is a complete tool! After our eye exams for which we paid for, my wife went back a week later just to see if they could give us our pupil distance. My god! As soon as the owner heard my wife is getting our glasses made in the UK he started acting like an idiot and even talked trash to her asking why we don't move there! From an immigrant who barely speaks French with poor english skills, I wouldn't be speaking like that to 1.people in general and 2. particularly customers!

The eye exam doctor was good. But PD is not part of exam so had to go next door to Laurier Optica and the refused to provide my PD. Was told it was illegal from that fat guy that works there. Then I called back asked where it says it's illegal and the girl couldn't tell me. I then asked if it's not illegal is it a policy? She said yes. I asked to see the policy and she said it's not written down. They said they couldn't provide me with my PD cause they could be help liable if I get into a car accident. This is just their scamming way to force you to buy glasses from them. Such a scam. So I went across the street to Axis and they gave me my PD no prob. So I bought 2 pairs of glasses from them. Beware of this location. The optometrist was quite nice and professional, however the woman who "helped" me with ordering trial contact lenses gave me nothing but problems and ruined my first experience. After being forced to commit to buying contacts from them or pay $30 for a trial pair of contact lenses, they didn't bother to call me for over a month to let me know they had arrived. I decided to pop in last week to ask if they had arrived and was surprised to learn they had been there waiting for me. They took me to the back and made me try them on there, but were extremely secretive for some reason about the lenses they gave me. They took the packaging away from me the second I had the lenses in, but they felt strange. When I asked if the prescriptions should be specific to a certain eye they assured me they were the same (even though I later confirmed this was actually not true, and my prescriptions have always been different for my eyes for 20 years). I had incorrect lenses in my eyes and had blurry vision. I knew something was wrong and when I asked to see the packaging, the woman refused to let me see it for some reason. I walked around the office trying to clear my eyes, and walked back over to to the woman's desk where the packaging was. When I went to grab it, she put her had on it and tried to pull it away from me like a child. I caught a glimpse of it and they weren't even the right brand I had ordered. I have a feeling they just grabbed whatever was in the back that was closest to my prescription, I don't think they ordered my lenses in the first place at all. I'm shocked at the service this place offered, people put their trust in these people with their eyesight but they really could care less. Head office was no help as this is a Quebec location, I have been waiting for a call back from the regional manager for 4 days now. I will be sure to update if I ever hear back.

Assuming it was an accident, I called back. The gentleman that I was speaking with the second time around was rude and very unprofessional. I have no issues with the optometrist. I have issue with owner.. she is always there black hair and glasses. I got my prescription and asked that they write it for me. I wanted to compare it to last year's and also to have it with me.. I paid for it I should be allowed to have the details of my prescription. I lost .25 in one eye and was told it was not necessary for me to get new glasses as there was not a big difference with my current prescription glasses (this is from the optometrist). Anyways this lady gave me such a hard time and told me I can't come back here if I am only going to get my prescription and not buy glasses. I didn't respond and just stared at her as she prepared my prescription info. She kept going and said, what s wrong with our glasses? you are just going to take your prescription and go somewhere else you can't do that... Again I just stared at her.. she was shouting and did this in front of other clients. It was embarassing and I took my prescription and left. She is unbelievably unprofessional. I couldn't believe how rude she was!

The optometrist who assessed my eyes, a Chinese woman, hardly spoke a word of French. This has by far been one of the worst experiences I've had with customer service. I made an order for a pair of glasses. It's been over three weeks and I still don't have the glasses. Rather than informing me of the long wait, I've been calling in continually because they don't call you to let you know anything about your order. On the third week of calling in, asking about the glasses I ordered, I found out they hadn't been shipped from the warehouse yet. So, there goes that whole two weeks of waiting for nothing. Then they said when they get them in they'll give me a call right away, but I've been calling everyday because they don't care to inform people about their invoices. I'll never order another pair of glasses here, especially when I hear a tone of frustration from the employees when I call in to ask about my order. If anything, I should be frustrated - I remained calm, it'd be nice if you did too, I did pay you a large amount of money to order me some nice glasses. At the very least, an update on my order would have been nice instead of being ignored totally.

I bought about eight pairs of glasses from Laurier Optical and they are great. I've changed my style a lot. I have sports glasses, shooting glasses and regular glasses. I’m really on a budget and I didn’t want to spend $300 to $700 on a pair of glasses even though my insurance covers most of it. So I decided to go with Laurier Optical and they’ve been awesome so far. I’ve been buying from them for about two years. The quality is really good for being at such a low price. I get the cheapest pairs and I like them a lot. They are durable plastic and I’ve only had one pair break on me out of the eight. I feel that the ordering process could be easier with certain items like the sports glasses. There needs to be more variety in them and I would love that and it would be great for everyone.

I'd give zero star if it's possible. My order was placed Feb 9. I understand that I requested new frames so I didn't follow up until a month. I was told that the frame is there but the lenses are not. So I waited again. They never call so I had to follow up and ask whether my lenses are there. When it finally arrived, I got headache once I wore them. The lady said it will take some getting used to. It didnt so I returned it. The lady promised it will be just 5 days to replace the lenses. Today a technician told me the frame would break if he tried to tighten them. If there is more than “5 star” I will rate it 6 or even 10 stars. It is beyond expectation service here! Last year I spent more than 1k for my glasses in one of the biggest eyewear chains here in Montreal (Everywhere here we see their stores, almost like “monopoly” in eyewear biz here). If I compare that big chain with “Optical Center” (Laurier), with regarding the service level/store decoration/updated style of frames/pricing, Optical Center definitely impressed me much much more. Here are the reasons: 1. The quality, variety, stylish level of frames and lenses are much better PLUS, the price is so much better! 2. The staff give you really welcoming, professional and courteous service. Especially, tailored solution. I even received my tailored cut shape lenses without been any extra-charge! 3. Never been put to wait more than 5 minutes. (Other place, remember it was “normal” there was put to wait for like 10-15minutes..) 4. Transparency. They really take time to explain to you all functions you received on lenses. And breakdown the cost and explain to you one by one (eg. Thickness of lenses, special treatments...) WITHOUT you even asking. I have my peace of mind! 5. I especially want to highlight of the Impeccable service of store manager Xavier! He is the best! His professional service, sharpe taste for stylish frames that suit you perfectly (within like 5 minutes!) , enormous patience, thinking ahead of you almost all your concerns and generously proactively putting extra-effort to find you the best solution! 6 Amazing warranty policy... etc etc...

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Bought glasses not even one year ago (March 2021) and the frames broke. I am a student and all I do is look at a screen. They were not able to do anything. Bought new glasses as I needed glasses for school as soon as possible and they said I am a student and have to claim through school. DO NOT VISIT THEM!! I have been wearing spectacle's since 2002, almost 2 decades. I have never had such a BAD EXPERIENCE!! For one pair of sunglasses with power I had to come back 5 times !! 1.Staff assistance - the technician tried to upsell me shade's based on my eitnicity! 2. The sales person did not know how the spectacle's would look once built. I the outcome was so bad I had to replace the order. 3. Mind you on the same day I spent over 1100$, then this was the outcome. A LOT of which was out of pocket. 4. The need to train their staff and understand time commitment. I feel Ultimately they should have paid for my gas bill considering the number of times I had to come back!

I had a major eye emergency last year - I lost my vision completely, and their Optometrist saw me upon my arrival at the store, My 3 year old just had her eye glasses replaced at no additional charge when the lenses ended up being too heavy for the frames we selected and weren't staying on her face, and my husband has been going here and ONLY here since a MAJOR eye operation 4 years ago. Disappointing experience at heartland Mississauga location. Wife was picking up her D&G glasses and contacts today when the woman offered to give her a complimentary lens solution which she accepted. However the male manager / technician very rudely interjected asking whether my wife already had lens solution and if so why she would want the free one... The way he spoke to her was demeaning and unnecessary as we never asked for the lens solution to begin with. Unfortunate that this happened after I spent $800 at Laurier optical not too mention having my whole family get regular eye tests there. I will be sure not to give this company any more business.

The experience at this store was exceptional. They came highly referred and they did not disappoint. I’ve know the owners since they were at Zellers in square One. Absolutely amazing people, very kind and friendly. However, when I went to Laurier Optical they were not at the store and came across the WORST customer service I HAVE EVER encountered in my life. I came to the store twice over the past few days and spoke to the same lady. The look on her face screamed pls leave i dont want to help you. She then proceeds to say “What do you want.” — this is the first thing she says to me when i come into the store. If her goal was to keep glasses in the store, she definitely deserves a sticker. It’s a shame that such amazing people have such a horrible employee. Before going to the store, I called and asked what time the owners would come in. When I got there well after that time, they were not at the store. She then said she would call them but cut the call after two rings. It was ridiculous. Ended up going to another store. Ask for Fatima and make sure shes there if you want glasses from here. You dont want your day ruined by this employee.

In fact, it is the entire team that works to ensure that the client receives an impeccable service. Special mention for Dr. Ramina Nissan, super professional, efficient and subspecialized. Another interesting aspect of this exceptional store: they have a section dedicated to audiology, which is not a common practice. Brilliant! On the other hand, in spite of the soundproofed desk, the technician has to strike the keys of her keyboard in order to activate the sounds, and one hears only her tapochages which make a continual clapping which directly conflicts with the ability to listen ( What is the point of a soundproofed office if there is so much noise inside ???). The results are therefore obviously biased. Without a silent keyboard (membrane style, without pressure), this department is not to be taken seriously and damages the credibility of the banner. this is a totally unnecessary test. It's like having to detect infinitely subtle sounds, while someone is tap dancing right next to them. This is ridiculous without a name. I did not follow up after being recommended for more advanced testing. I would rather go to a real specialized clinic. Nothing to do with the very attentive technician. She is simply ill-equipped. Those in charge of this department obviously do not understand what they are doing. 5 stars (and more, it's really top service) for the "optometrist" part, zero for the hearing section (no relevance and total waste of time). C'est comme devoir détecter des sons infiniment subtiles, pendant que quelqu'un danse la claquette juste à côté. C'est d'un ridicule sans nom. Je n'ai pas fait de suivi après que l'on m'ait recommandé des tests plus avancés. J'irai plutôt dans une véritable clinique spécialisée. Rien à voir avec la technicienne très attentionnée. Elle est simplement mal outillée. Les responsables de ce département ne comprennent visiblement ce qu'ils font. 5 étoiles (et plus, c'est vraiment top service) pour la partie "optométriste", zéro pour la section audition (aucune pertinence et perte de temps totale).

I dropped my glasses on the driveway accidentally, my van ran over the glasses, it's still not broken! The frame was just a bit deformed. Their technician managed to repair the van-ran-over glasses, it's still usable! Very good quality frame and lenses!

**edited to add replacement lense ordered with zero problems! Receptiona staff are all wonderful. I purchased my glasses in March with the scratch resistance on the lenses. After 1 month I already have a scratch on them. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years and this is the first time I've ever had a scratch like this on the lenses. Their website doesn't allow me to leave a comment or ask how their warranty works as I need to have the right lense replaced. Once the store opens up again I'm hoping I can get the lense replaced under warranty and up the rating for quality.

I purchased eye glasses was to have scratch protection , after a few months I noticed the lens were getting scratched. Took them back to the store technician only to get a story, and no acknowledgement of a problem .Same technician a year earlier altered my prescription sunglasses lens to make it fit a new frame , result altering my vision. I will never Purchase , or recommend to anyone to purchase any eye wear from them
