I've been dealing with this store for many years and I have always been happy with the service, the products and the price. Twice I have had to replace glasses that were accidentally damaged and they were replaced immediately - at no extra charge - because I had purchased the low cost insurance. Because they are in a mall they are often very busy and you can wait a while for service - but it is worth the wait.

At Pearl vision we managed to get both in our budget and a pair she loved. We even took our daughter back here it was so easy and fun! Angela took the time to sit and chat with my wife, Recommend what she could but also got my wife to try outside of her comfort zone and found a pair she loved so much she got them in Sun glasses as well. Highly recommend this place. Staff goes above and behind to fulfill all your needs with a very friendly and light and fun atmosphere. Glasses shopping is no longer a chore. Thank God. Lol.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! They DO NOT guarantee customers satisfaction as stated on their website. Been to their coquitlam mall branch more than 10x after purchasing my eyeglasses for adjustments since it irritated side of my ears and cuts my skin off, they don’t want to change my glasses because they said warranty has expired. A day after i purchased my glasses warranty expired already? They told me they will ask their manager to call me to fix the situation but its been over 3wks now manager hasn’t called. Obviously, they don’t care about their customers, they only care about our money! Do yourself a favor… Stay away from this company! Don’t be a victim like me! Been going here since 2019 based on some recommendations from family on some of their deals. Dealt with Grace and she was fantastic! Was able to snag a pretty good deal/promotion and paid minimal our of pocket for prescription glasses and sunglasses = due to extended benefits from both my wife and I. Fast forward to 2021 (two years later). A lot of people told me i overpaid in 2019 so i decided to shop around. Clearly contacts and lens crafters. Clearly online has some killer deals but the promotions may not be as "good" as pearle vision. My wife and decided to stick with pearle vision and we were helped by Amandeep. She was great! Answered all our questions and her customer service was fantastic. When our glasses arrived, we were helped by Grace on the fitting and she was also extremely helpful, energetic and has great customer service. Pros 1) Customer Service (same people working at this location for years) 2) Good selection of glasses and sunglasses 3) Follow covid-19 protocols and sanitize glasses after each use (when you try on and you put it into a basket) 4) Seasonal promotions Cons 1) Price is higher than other glasses shops 2) No room for price reduction (firm prices) 3) No loyalty program for repeat customers Overall, I recommend this glasses shop. Check them out. Frames are competitive in terms of prices and lenses are expensive. Rate: 5 ????

I have been waiting at the door for the last 20 mins. Both staff have seen me waiting outside multiple times. No acknowledgement whatsoever. They answer the phone every time it rings but won’t even acknowledge the physical client standing and waiting at the door. I had to call and ask them to help me at the door.

Shopping during Covid-19 is scary but needing new glasses and knowing I would have to try on samples that have been touched by others was almost terrifying. When i arrived for my appointment, Angela Gugins made me feel so comfortable as she explained how our consultation would take place, the Covid-19 protocols that were in place for my safety and took the time to ensured I was able to find the perfect pair. Angela is very knowledgeable, has an eye for style, a way of making you relax and enjoy the process. Would highly recommend booking an appointment with Angela

My family have been going to Pearle Vision in Coquitlam centre mall for 20 years and we have always received great service. The most recent one in the past week . Raj and Lilian suggested styles but did not pressure. They listened instead of pushing. My kids and me took advantage of their BOGO promo so we all got prescription sunglasses for our second pair. One thing they promised was we will get the regular lenses that came with our raybans. Which we did. For some reason their lab techs do not return those lenses but they made sure that we got ours back. We paid for them anyway. Another reason why we really like this store was the staff will fix our glasses without any fuss, something that lenscrafters did not do. All of us will continue to go to this store that is guaranteed .

My wife and i are repeated customers of this location in Coquitlam Center. We are always treated well by Raj and the rest of the staff , they always greet you and treat you like its your first visit.Your experience doesn't end there , if you need any type of adjustment for you eye wear they are there and more than willing to make sure you are happy with the fit again. Also if you are unsure about the look of the frames you are looking at , i feel they give you honest feed back and suggestion . This was the worst experience ever. I came here twice before and had great experiences however after today, I will not be returning back. I went in for an eye exam...sat in the chair for 5-10 minutes. The doctor did not explain my prescription change or mention I had astigmatism. I had to ask her if my prescription changed and if my vision had gotten worse...as a customer, I should not have to prompt her for this information. She was not engaging nor friendly during the appointment. I really don't understand what I am paying $110 ($60 out of pocket with insurance coverage...thankfully) for when the appointment did not last for more than 10 minutes. When I went to Lenscrafters after my appointment, I had to have one of the workers try to explain my prescription for me since the doctor I had just seen failed to do so. Even the receptionist was not super friendly either. This was the worst customer service experience ever, I left feeling upset, frustrated and irritated with the cost of the appointment and leaving with little to no information/explanation for my eye exam....

Bought sunglasses with 1 yr warranty. Couldn’t exchange because of covid and warranty expired for about a month. Also couldn’t come in when they opened up because I moved out of town and can’t come back often. The frames were faulty to begin with and the lenses would pop out super easily and got worse over time. They didn’t seem to care about the situation and scoffed at the idea of a warranty extension. My whole family used to go here for all of their glasses. Not anymore. Disappointed

Angela was helpful. Both my husband and I ended up purchasing glasses and sunglasses. I went into pick up my glasses (sunglasses weren't in yet) and Raj adjusted the fit. Ended up picking up my husband's glasses and sunglasses for him (didn't open cases). He came home from work and tried on glasses which fit perfectly. When he opened the sunglass case and took sunglasses out of cloth pouch, the frames wore broken in half! So...seems someone didn't open case to check everything was okay! My husband called store right away and spoke to Raj, who said to bring them back and they would be replaced. Took sunglasses back and Raj was very gracious and apologetic and said he would have new pair of sunglasses within next few days.

Pearl Vision at Coquitlam Center is the best place to go for great glasses and wonderful staff. I have gone there for a few years for my kids and have always been pleased. This fall, I got 2 pair of glasses for myself from them. It turns out the prescription I was given by an Optometrist (not at Pearl Vision) was so out of whack I could not wear the glass. The optometrist said there was nothing wrong and would not change it. I went back to Pearl Vision and told them I didn’t know what to do. THEY refunded me the full purchase price of my glasses and said to come back when I had another eye test. They were not at fault yet made it right. I highly recommend this office to anyone .

I'd give them less if I could. I got my first progressive glasses there for $700 - lenses and frames about a year ago. The first set of lenses I could not use and returned to them. Was told to "get use " to them so I wore them a little each day to no avail and returned weeks later. They up sold me to lower index $200 - same issue. I returned several times - at one point the manager put rubber bits on them so they raised so I could read - but then I could not see to drive or walk or...just terrible for $900. Then on another visit, they bent the frames to fit - which was a little better but I could not see far or close - just bad all around. Went back really unhappy and was told I was over the warranty. Went back to the optician last week and my eyes have not changes and spoke of this terrible experience. She said Pearl should have fixed the problem by going with bifocals at least. Just an terrible service team at Pearl, and I got totally ripped off.

Amandeep and Grace are the nicest, most helpful people that I’ve ever purchased glasses from before. I dealt with Amandeep originally and she helped me pick out a great pair of glasses as well as a pair of sunglasses. Once I received them and wore them for a few days I realized that the sunglasses weren’t a great fit for me. Thanks to their 30 day exchange policy I was able to go and exchange them for a pair of sunglasses that I love just as much as my glasses. I dealt with Grace when I went back for my exchange and she was just as lovely as Amandeep. While the prices are kind of high, I appreciated their return policy as well as the quality of the frames and lenses that I received; I also have benefits so I got most of my money back anyways.

DO NOT DEAL WITH these people if you can at all avoid it. Aprox 2 years ago I purchased a pair of glasses from them and once they had payment getting them to return a phone call was next to impossible! Forget about a timely basis AT ALL was hard enough. I had occasion to go in the other day as my lenses have gone foggy after 2 years, not scratched, foggy. An obvious defect which they will not stand behind. Disgraceful service and ZERO product back-up.... Stay as far away as possible. If it was possible to leave a zero star rate I would leave it. It's too late for me but do yourself a favour and find some one else to deal with.

I went to Pearle Vision Coquitlam for my new pair of glasses. I got to say this is one of the best, if not the best service I ever received. Lillian at the store helped me to choose the frame that really fits me! After helping me chose the right frame, she then explained in very detail the type of lens , and the pros and cons of each to me. On the day I got my new glasses., she helped me to try on the new glasses. She also walked me through thoroughly how to use the progressive lens (which I never had before). I must say I am very impressed with her services! She is just a rock-star! I highly recommend anyone interested to get new pair of glasses to try this store. You wont' be disappointed. I recently had implications with one of my eyes and my doctors had ask me to look into getting glasses. I went to pearl vision and was pleased with the service from Grace and Lilian who worked there. They let me try as many frames on until I found a pair that suited me (this included my GF grabbing many different frames to give me her opinion as well XD). Both Grace and Lilian communicated with me right away when I had questions and I walked out with a pair of glasses I was very happy with. I definitely recommend this place if your looking into getting frames or lenses.
