Extremely friendly and helpful staff and a great optometrist on site! I was on a camping trip just outside Chilliwack when I realized I forgot my contacts and didn’t bring glasses with me. I called a couple places to ask if they would be able to sell me a sample pack but none of them were able to help me, since I didn’t have my prescription with me. Luckily, Hoedeman Optical had an optometrist on site, Mr. Tom Hodeman, who was able to examine my eyes and prescribe the correct contacts. He literally saved my camping trip, since I wouldn’t have been able to see very well without prescription eyewear. Super grateful for everyone’s help and that Mr Hoedeman made time to help me, even though I didn’t have an appointment. I highly recommend this place!

Frim the moment we git to our appointment this gentleman was rude. Im on disability amd he argued i told him we had blue sheild coverage. I dont. He then brought me into his exam room and left the room leaving the door open where he continued to speak to another man in regards to their vacation fir aprox. 15 mins. After the exam for myself and my husband i stated id like to submit my perscription to disability for approval. He refused stating hes done this for years. I was never told my eye exam was free contingent on our getting our glasses there. After the incedent i called again and spoke to Mike about getting our perscription and bringing it somewhere else. He stated i had to speak with the Dr ao i aaked fir him to call. This is 3 montha ago. Still no call. Very bad service from the get go

I was only going in for an eye exam but after the amazing service and how quick and painless everything went, I left with a pair of new glasses and could not be happier! I was even gifted some beautiful poinsettias during the holiday season from them and will now be a regular returning customer. Thank you Krista for the extra effort. :)

Purchased my daughter's 4th pair of glasses here, and I am incredibly impressed with the durability of the lenses. It's been months and there isn't a scratch on them. You really do get what you pay for! She is so happy to have a unique and comfortable pair of glasses. She gets complimented on them all the time. Friendly service, great selection. They do free vision tests if you buy glasses or contacts from them, and they offer free wifi if you have to wait. Charlene, Sherisse, and Tom are great.!

I went in for an adjustment for an older pair of sunglasses. They were completely unwearable and the staff at Hoedeman Optical quickly fixed them and made them fit comfortably! Very satisfied with the service.

Recently I badly bent my eyeglasses frame and was afraid that I had to buy a new frame and lenses. However, Tom said he will try to straighten the frame to its original position. Great service and high quality of workmanship, made my glasses right after the other place messed them up. I now finally have my glasses in the right frames. The last place over in the mall could not even get the prescription right let alone get the lenses in the right frames. Hoedeman Optical not only got the lenses in the right frames they made sure they didn't fall out. The last guys said "take it or leave it" Hoedeman Optical made sure I was happy with my glasses and they made sure they worked the way they are supposed to. Thank you

I went to Hoedeman Optical to get a contact prescription and they were absolutely amazing! I had my glasses which I made the mistake of buying elseway for just over a year which I struggled with not only the fitting of the glasses, but I found myself not being able to see with the prescription they were. The optician at Hoedeman gave excellent service and took his time with me making sure he got the prescription right. He showed me the difference in what my glasses prescription was and compared it to what it should of been and I could not believe it. They went above and beyond with their service and I will definitely be returning in the near future to purchase a pair of glasses. Thank you Hoedeman Optical!
