I have been Alan's customerfor 20 years. He has the baddest eyeglasses in town! I am currently in Santa Fe NM and I trusted him to take care of my order long distance. I trust his taste and discretion in terms of what I was looking for. I could not imagine going elsewhere. The glasses he chose for me are more beautiful than I could have imagined! They are nerdy, edgy and professional. He outdid himself!

It took two and a half months to get the glasses that I ordered. I paid more than I expected by $280 because they didn't submit my insurance like they said they would do and the bifocals are not aligned correctly so I can't see to read very well either. Almost $900 spent. So disappointed, I could cry.

He has a flare for knowing what looks great on each and every person who steps foot in his shop! Picking out a frame was an agonizing chore until meeting Alan. He gets it right every single time! I purchased prescription sunglasses at Les Lunettes a year ago and have had dealings with them on a couple other occasions for eyeglass needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Personal service is a high priority for them. They have a very wide selection of styles and frames. It is a great shopping experience.

It was brought to my attention that one of my pairs of glasses I got here had lenses were not made correctly for a sunglass. The transition was to high. I am new to glasses and transitions. I was told I would get use to them. I went to get eye exam to be sure my eyes had not changed. They did not. I was advised to go back in and that most eyeglass shops should correct. This is a high end store and you pay a premium here. My review doesn't reflect the error it reflects the was I was treated by the owner. He pulled out his measuring device- told me he was right and then said he could correct the issue. Rushed into the back like a child and then came out with my glasses. When I asked how it "corrected it" he told be he bent the frames. Now I have been in several times this year to get these glasses adjusted and refitted. If you want to do business with someone who will make the lenses properly and or will own it when your ophthalmologist says they are made wrong for that type of lens GO SOMEWHERE ELSE .
