During this Covid-19 pandemic Hoya took 2nd and 3rd shifts away. Making it so everyone has to work every other week. Two weeks out of the month you work. They have you use PTO for the two weeks you can’t work. The kicker? THEY ACTUALLY TOOK AWAY your 2nd and 3rd shift wages and are paying you FIRST SHIFT WAGE! So during this crisis America is going through, they want you to work and take a pay cut while other jobs are giving the employees hazard pay! No temperatures are being taken. Want to work for a company that cares? DONT DEAL WITH THIS PLACE. Employees mean nothing to them and this pandemic has shown their true colors! Also they take too long to make glasses! They also pass lenses that have pits in them and act like that’s okay. Get it together Hoya!

I build laser systems for touring with large festivals and the only way to protect the output of these lasers and to get the best color spectrum is to use a Hoya daylight filters best filter hands down money can buy for your laser optics, I wouldn't use anything else on my high Tech toys.

I love my glasses from Hoya! The trivex material is so light and the "Recharge" Blue-light protection is a must for anyone wearing glasses now a days. Everyone I've dealt with at Hoya was super friendly- They have wonderful customer service.

Worked with very rude and miserable employees and was let go despite perfect attendance and keeping numbers up. One of the lead's working in the back on night shift was upset that I did not want to pursue anything with him and told the Supervisors I was not working. Another lady working in the back with the dark hair, middle aged, short, was extremely rude in the break room with me at night, slamming things and one time tried to hit me as I was walking by. Weird people. Bad business.

Worst company I’ve ever worked for. Really prejudice against minorities and won’t give you any training. They don’t even give you full time hours.

If you want to work in a hostile environment this is the company for you. I could barely get full time hours and then when I was sent home early each day, I was written up. Worst job ever.

I went to Eyewear 20/20 for my glasses to be made. The lenses are chipping from inside the lenses so as far as I am concerned they are self destructing. I went back to Eyewear 20/20 and they called Hoya Labs to see if there was anything they can do. Well low and behold because they said they are only guaranteed for a year they won't do a darn thing. Funny how the Drs. office said this was the best company out there, well if there the best why are my glasses self destructing. I have been going to this eye Dr. for many many years and still have glasses that are a lot older than these and never had a problem. Its a shame I had to have the receptionist write down who made my glasses because I will never have them make me glasses again. To bad for my eye Dr. also I will never buy glasses from him either. So pretty much Hoya and Eyewear 20/20 LOST my business, because no one will back this problem up.
