I had been going to Eyenstiens since 2015, every year for a routine check up. This November when I went, I was given the worst customer service ever. The prescription that Dr. Sofia wrote was too strong and completely wrong. When I stated I couldn’t see out of my glasses and was getting a headache immediately to Chad, he told me he checked my glasses three times and it’s what the doctor wrote and I had to wear the glasses for at least a week before they’d recheck my eyes. I stated again that I couldn’t see out of the glasses and got an immediate headache and wanted my eyes rechecked. He then asked me in a very snotty and rude tone “So are you refusing these glasses because if you are it’s a 20% restocking fee”. I told him no I wasn’t, I’m simply just asking for my eyes to be rechecked because I truly believe my prescription is wrong. Then basically to get me to stop complaining and get me out they rescheduled me for a recheck like I was asking, after getting so upset to the point I was crying and asking them what the heck I was supposed to do and I’m just out of 397 dollars and my insurance, Just for them to then call me the next day and say the doctor asked WHY I was scheduled for a reexamination and that I was being “over accommodated” and they were going to refer me to an ophthalmologist because they couldn’t do anything different. I then went and returned my glasses and told them I will be going else where and finding a new eye doctor since they don’t want to listen. The prescription they wrote for me and the prescription that I got from my new eye doctor are two completely different ones. I hope that CHAD listens to the next person that says they CANNOT SEE out of the corrective lenses and not FORCE them on someone, because if you wear glasses that aren’t correct you can seriously mess up your eyes.

Everyone who worked there - and some of the customers! - were so nice to me! From the receptionist to the eye doctor, it was an excellent experience. They knew what my insurance would and wouldn't cover and helped me pick out some really cute frames that didn't break the bank. I had my 6mo daughter with me and they were extremely accommodating with her. I will definitely be going here in the future for any eye-care needs!

It was busy because this place is great. I went in on Monday evening around 430pm. They have after work hours which is always helpful. They have many frames, almost something for everyone. The woman managing the front of the store was so nice and helpful. The man who helped me get my glasses ordered was nice and efficient. I will come here for my next eye exam and ditch the corporate America scene at lens crafters. Sorry not sorry.

Will never go there again. First, they never even measured the glasses to see if they fit behind the ear. One are broke and all they could do was replace the arm with a completely different on and different size. Very disappointed with the place.

I have worn glasses and contacts for 33 years. I have never had such a poor experience at an eye doctors. I saw Dr. Lornand and he was very nice. The staff, not so much. I have CareSource Just4Me insurance with Obamacare. If a practice excepts your insurance, you should not be treated any differently because of it. I was called "indigent" by the not so nice receptionist. Because of her treatment, I will not recommend this practice to anyone.

Great staff and selection of frames. The free frame readjustments have been a lifesaver. Frankly, I cannot envision myself going anywhere else for glasses. The customer service is very personal and a bargain for the price. It’s everything one could want from an “in-person” shopping experience. Moreover, it’s great to support a local business!

If I could give them a zero I would I went in there because of severe eye pain and pressure and the doctor which was a woman basically dilated my eyes without asking me if I was driving or not which I was with my child and then check my eyes and told me they were dehydrated would not prescribe me anything told me to go buy some eye drops over the counter and never told me why I was having pressure and eye pain it was the worst experience I have ever had and will never ever go back there nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. Then when they told me I would have to take my contacts out for them to do the eye exam they had a search through a drawer that has food in it and some other stuff just to find me a contact case and some old contact solution this place is the most ghettoest place I have ever been in my life

Absolutely terrible! We have been here before and have never been treated as poorly as we were today. My step daughters were told they needed glasses 2 years ago from this place also we were told my step daughter needed eye surgery to correct a lazy eye. Today the man who was working was playing on his phone the whole time, telling my step daughter to read the smallest line and when she couldn't read it said it was close enough, he also said "kids are ding dongs and never know what they are talking about anyway" and told us she didn't need glasses and to see an ophthalmologist. What happened to this place?! Who are these guys working who are being so careless and rushing? Terrible terrible, we are taking them out.

Took both of my kids there. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by not only the front desk but by the opticians working the floor as well. Throughout my wait I was asked if I would like water and my kids were offered fruit snacks - it was wonderful and thoughtful. The doctor was great with both of my children. Very patient and kind. Once we were finished and it was time to pick out glasses for my daughter, the optician Melissa was very patient, kind, and helpful. Faliceonna was very sweet with my son and even helped entertain him while I was helping my daughter. Amazing job by all! High praises for Melissa, Feliceonna, & Danielle.

Small selection of glasses. They don't have the price on the frames which is very annoying. Doesn't seem common to not have the prices on them? So I had to ask for the price on a pair of frames - and the woman on the floor seemed to take it personally when I said that it was more than what I want to spend. Staff was nicer to me this time with my private eye insurance than the last time when I was on Caresource - receptionist was very nice but the woman working the floor was rude. This was Eyesteins second chance in my book, will be going elsewhere from now on.

I have been going to Eyenstein's for about three years now, and they're absolutely wonderful. I will continue to go here for years to come as everyone is extremely pleasant, helpful and great with customer service. Tim is absolutely wonderful at helping you pick out glasses and extremely professional and friendly. The front desk receptionists are also very nice and friendly and make you feel right at home. The female doctor is also really nice and answers your questions. They have a great selection of glasses and offer payment plan options. I go in every few months to have my glasses readjusted due to natural bending from wearing and they never charge for it! Absolutely recommend if you want to support a wonderful small business and not some major chain of eye doctors and glasses retailers.

Went in to find my son (3) glasses. We have certain insurance so only a rack to choose from. I asked them where could I find the glasses at. They pointed me in the direction. And that was it. No one tried to help us. Horrible attitudes in my opinion. After about 10 mins I left. Went to another store.

This place was amazing to my daughter. Got us in quick. Thoroughly examined her eyes. Everyone was so kind. Good selection of glasses. The people who said theres no im confused on how many glasses you should have for a selection. So i have to brag becausr 3 days after her getting her glasses she had an accident and seriously broke them. Brought them back today to see our options and the gentlmen Tim popped those lenses out and put them into a new pair right there for us. Money is tight for me right now and they helped me out big time. I am so thankful and will be returning!! Highly recommend

I recently started coming to this eye doctor's office. I have been seen there, as well as my children. I have never found such skilled and patient people. The doctor took her time and did a exam making sure nothing was missed. The secretary as well as the lady that helps you pick out your glasses are both very polite and friendly as well. They are always smiling and don't mid making small talk while your waiting. Oh! and the place smells AWESOME!!! it gives u a relaxed feeling while waiting. I waited over a month for an appointment and then got canceled a day before due to a family emergency on their behalf. This is more than a justifiable reason, but I assumed I'd be rescheduled within a week or two. They couldn't get me in for another six weeks because of other bookings. Possibly my expectations are unrealistic, but it seems there could have been a better solution.

My kids and I have been coming here for a few years now. What sold me on Eyenstein's was the greeting and welcoming feeling I received from Rebecca and Peggy. It was Peggy's upbeat and positive attitude, they way she treated my kids, along with her professionalism and smile that kept me coming back. Now don't get me wrong you still get a greeting however it seems forced, not real. I have been back a few times since the two ladies left and I get more and more frustrated. Instead of communicating with the patients, they huddle in the back and communicate with each other. Tim the gentleman who now does Peggy's job rather than giving you and option to chose a pair of glasses he assumes based on your insurance there is only one rack to choose from. He honestly seems like he dose not care. The prices seem to go up every visit which honestly makes no sense to me. It is should be one set price for contact exams and one set price for eye exams. in the last year I have spent over 900 on glasses and 2 replacement glasses along with contact exams . (exams were initially $45.00 then last year it was $60.00 and now $75.00) I'm so very disappointed with Eyenstiens. looking for another optometrist.
