An eye exam here is the same price as Walmart but with far better service. The price of glasses are competitive (I got a nice pair with anti-glare for $119) and they have deals if you buy more than one pair. I went in fully intending to get my eye prescription and then buy online, but I changed my mind due to the quality of customer service from everyone there.

I was very satisfied with the eye examination by Dr.Ian. Have been wearing glasses for a very long time and only he was able to diagnose chances of glaucoma. Purchased my 3 set of glasses from specs appeal and got a very good deal. The opticians were very helpful especially Prem who provides an outstanding customer service!!

They quoted me half of the price I was quoted at another (well-known) store for a knock-off pair. I needed specific lenses with an FL41 tint for my migraines and photophobia...so the manager there went above and beyond the call of the duty. I've been going to specs appeal (Cambridge location) for Manny years..I've been wearing glasses for most of my life....So finding specs appeal was amazing for me...I get 3 pair for $199 ...Lots of awesome frames to choose from..The friendly staff are so helpful ...I recommend them to all my friends and family...You Save so much..Compared to other places....I will never go any where else!!! . My glasses broke when I was on holidays and my friend recommended that I go into Specs Appeal. Dan the owner was so nice and he was able to repair the glasses on the spot. While they were being fixed I had a browse at the sunglasses and found a pair of Coach and Kate Spade sunglasses for myself and my daughter that were VERY reasonably priced. Happy that I found this place and to support such a great local business!

I highly recommend going to specs appeal for both an eye exam and to get glasses or contacts! The opticians were very helpful when I picked out frames for myself and my parents, and were very considerate of our needs. The prices are so affordable compared to any other optical and they have a huge selection! The optometrist also did a very thorough eye exam. We are very happy with the services we were provided with.

Wow! Happened to be driving by and as a person who has never had glasses before i was amazed at how patient they were and genuinely wanted to help me find the right look. I highly HIGHLY recommend these guys and will be definitely coming back. If you have something in mind and cant see it on the shelf ask and they can order it. I found the glasses were cheap and did not last(3 pairs in 13 months) One pair was found today. Unfornately for me I lost a pair(fighting) One pair snapped when I took it off at Library. One pair was found two days ago. I am glad I have two more pairs from Lenscrafters in mall for alloted money for glasses! One is Armani and the other Stereoflex. Thanks for fixing third pair and putting eye piece back. The eye test people I wish you a great year. Please make sure you can do a persons eye test before you bring them in. Stay happy and well.

Don't like the small print in the corner of your glasses..if you want 300.00 for your glasses charge 300.00 don't try and trick and manipulate your clients by adding the smallest of print ever...wont go back

2nd Review December 2019: I have only received fantastic customer service here. My glasses broke recently and they were a pair that I hadn't really worn, I called because I wanted to get them fixed and realized because it had been over a year it was likely going to cost me. Well, they informed me that they would fix them for free but it would likely be a couple weeks until they got the new frames in, no big deal for me because they were going to fix them. After 2 days they called me to let me know I could come in whenever and they would fix them in under 20 minutes. They were true to their word this even, in and out in under twenty minutes with brand new frames. I will definitely go back, all of our experiences have been amazing. 1st Review July 2018: This place is great! Such good prices, not sticking within the glasses choices will obviously increase your cost as well as adding the coatings and changing a pair to sunglasses but still SUPER AFFORDABLE. Everyone that has helped us there the last 2 times we've bought glasses has been fantastic. Super friendly and willing to accomodate our budget. The representative at the time was super nice as well, he made sure we had everything adjusted exactly how we wanted it before we left, and invited us to come back if we needed them re-adjusted. He also remembered us from 2 years ago. I tell everyone to go there.

Very helpful staff that actually listen to your requests. I work a physically demanding job that is rough on my glasses. I need prescription safety glasses which another place attempted in a curved lenses type. I was offered much more prescription appropriate safety glasses here which I will be back for when my budget allows. My prescription is very strong so it's always expensive. They had inexpensive frame options and the lenses came out great. I am VERY happy with the single pair I purchased here. I have NEVER had this level of quality for this price done in 1 week. Thanks!

They were able to accommodate my specific lenses! I specifically need round top, lined, bifocals - which Lens Crafters told me they could not make for me - so I had just purchased frames there yesterday with the intention of asking my eye doctor to then put in the lenses. But I wasn’t sold on the frames so I decided to look around some more today. I went to Specs Appeal this afternoon to browse for new frames. Not only did I find not one, but two pairs of glasses that I absolutely loved, but I received great service and an equally great deal - AND they are able to create my lenses! One stop shop, great selection, great pricing, fantastic staff who know what they’re doing - couldn’t be happier. I will be recommending this place to friends and family and for my own future purchases.

Had my first visit at Specs Appeal today and I have to say I was so impressed. The staff there are incredibly helpful and patient. I tried on many glasses feeling terrible that each pair had to be sanitized afterwards and they never once made me bad for the extra work this gave them. I never felt rushed, they spent over an hour working with me to find 3 pairs that I loved. I cant thank you both enough and will be sure to recommend your business.
