I've been to other Hakim stores and this one is the best. The staff are warm, helpful and great at helping you find exactly what you want. The selection is fantastic, and the time from when I picked out my frames to when I walked out with them on my face was the fastest I've ever had.

UPDATE : GM called me and was even worse, laughed on the phone!! Zora (Student girl) I was calling to place and order for contacts for my husband, she couldn't find the most recent eye test on file even though one was provided last year. She then proceeded to fight with me and after I said plainly " what can we do here to just place the order" she said I must sign a waver I said fine... she then hung up the phone???? Completely unacceptable level of service. No respect for anyone. I called back and said they lost a loyal customer. I will NEVER step foot inside a hakim optical and I will tell all my friends and family to do the same.

I can never find my type of glasses at any where. Only Hakim Optical in Cambridge has my glasses. They do marvelous job to assist me to get the right glasses. Am very very pleased with them. I get lot and lot of compliments on my glasses

The staff was very helpful to make sure my frames met the requirements for my prescription and the frame that looked great on me. I will always go to Hakim Cambridge for future eye care. Waste of time. Tried to visit this place only to be faced with a locked door with a sign saying they were gone for lunch, returning at 3:10. This was @2:15 on a Saturday.

I was satisfied by the level of professionalism by the staff as they patiently listened to my needs. I went in there to repair sunglasses for a missing screw and it was fixed in 1 min and it was free!! Forgot to get a cleaner and the guy hooked me up! This customer service and customer appreciation was on another level!! Thank you guys!

Walked in to get my husbands glasses repaired ( the nose pads ) and the guy did it quickly and was nice . I asked how much it was and he said free of charge ! I will be going there to get my prescription glasses when I need to do them as anything to help a person now a days without profit is very very rare !! bought glasses from here 1 year and 1 month ago, and the frames broke just from touching them yesterday, they didnt offer any kind of extended warranty and want to charge me full price for a replacement frame. Worst customer service i have ever experienced and would highly recommend looking elsewhere

Went in for a glasses adjustment, was told to charge $15 cause I did not get my glasses here even though I gave conscent if something happens to the frame I won’t count them responsible. Interesting

Breakout Escapes

I stopped by this morning after sitting on my glasses and bending the arms. These pros were able to fix them up for me at no charge! They did warn me that the arms may end up breaking off and had to sign a waiver (100% understandable....they were definitely already "broken" to me!) and thankfully they were able to help me see again :) I will absolutely be back again!

I don't even know if this will get read and I am not a review kind if guy....but the recent 3 exchanges I have had at this location have been beyond deplorable I was a regular customer there for 3 years and the service and the agents there were beyond excellent, then since post pandemic reopening my visits there are horrible. The new people there are curt, dismissive and brutally non-helpful and if called out on it appear to be totally unconcerned and in fact semi sarcastic in their responses Either way I am just one person and probably dont matter but I will never use them again and will do my best to encourage any and all not to use them as well. There is lots of selection, frames and lenses are high quality, orders are quick and correct. I do not recommend going here ! Worst experience ever and I have been dealing with eye glass places for 20 years. Staff was short and not helpful. Brought my 2 nieces there and they tried to send me out the door with a badly damaged glasses arm cover. She tried to slip them on my child so I didn't see, nice try! The kids are 7 and 12 and asked to never go back thereas well. Did not help with any deals and well was just over all dis-satified! Go any where but here. Oh and I asked for eye glass cleaner and the rude women said well we charge for it, like ok well I could buy it but your attitude made me go buy it from the eyeglass place in the mall!

NEW UPDATE SINCE MY REVIEW ON NOVEMBER 9TH!! Much to my surprise the following day on the 10th I got a call from the supervisor to witch he went above & beyond anything I could have imagined I was simply hoping that it would be addressed & he did more then address it & for that I would like to thank you very much! I would also like to say I've received my glasses & was very happy with the service I received and will definitely continue going to Hakim Optical. Thank You Sincerely!! I would like to say personally my experience there has not been good at all. I ordered my prescription on October 1st it came back with it being the wrong prescription had to send it back & I'm still waiting for them. Secondly the staff thinks they can make fun of customer's & that the customer will not notice it but it was very noticeable. When I went in tonight they saw me walk in they we're both in the back she got up & went over to the guy who was bent over working & whispered something in his ear to witch he then looked up over at me from his work. They take forever to serve you while they take there sweet time meanwhile I am a paying customer just like everyone else. Really not impressed with the employee's and how they treated me as customer definitely not going to recommend this place to anyone.

From the minute you walk-in the doors, and into the showroom you instantly know that you do not need to go any where else. It is bright, warming and the selection is plentiful and just awesome. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful & cheerful. The professionalism of the entire staff is truly 2nd to none! My family and I have been going to Hakim for many years and no need to look anywhere else!!

Quality of frames are not very good. Whether you are buying Rayban or any other "name brand" frames, they are all made by a single company who gets the license to use high end company names on them. I bought Raybans from this location and they felt cheap which is why I did more research as I couldn't believe that Rayban would release such a poor quality product. The reason frames are so expensive is for the name on the frame that isn't even made by the company whose name is on the frame. A couple of weeks after getting my "Rayban" glasses, the arm came off. A couple weeks after that the lenses popped out. Skip the name brand and make sure the lenses are quality.

Went in on Saturday and was actually excited to see their selection. To my surprise the store is super cramped with glasses so much so it looks junky almost like a circus. Had a hard time finding a frame as it's so busy with all the lights and mirrors made it impossible and jammed packed frames. If they clean it up to make it look more presentable and less like a circus maybe they would of got my business. And let's not forget the air freshener that over powered the store. Left leaving with a headache. Not a good experience whatsoever.

Came in Monday night to put in an order and I picked them up Friday. The Staff was helpful and fast with my glasses and I really appreciate my new pairs . UPDATE: it's three months later and I accidentally broke my glasses last night. I went in this morning and they gave me a new set of frames on the spot :) I even got to pick a different color to my original frames.
