The clinic is beautiful and the staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. My appointment was promptly booked and all safety measures for COVID were in place (masks, gloves, sanitizer). They have direct billing, so you don’t have to pay out of pocket. Dr. Wahib also has an impressive selection of frames and can order any frame or sunglasses you wish, even if not displayed in his clinic. I highly recommend EYE-Matter for anyone with eyes

Dr. Basel truly puts his patients before money, which is rare these days. He is honest, very knowledgeable, truly compassionate and trustworthy. I used to go to a big eye place in Cambridge where the doctor never cared to explain anything. Compared to her, Dr. Basel is so humble and professional! He diagnosed my family members with an ease that comes from deep understanding. My brothers simply loved him. The lady at the desk is also very kind and friendly. Their office is clean and lovely. Judging from mine and several other friends' experiences, this is the only optometry I would recommend with an open heart.

Dr. Basil Wahib is an experienced and intelligent professional that treats his patients like friends. He welcomes them and explains the process in its entirety. He is always open to answering any questions or concerns. Very generous and knowledgeable. He ordered multiple trials for contact lenses and helped me find the best and most comfortable fit. I ordered contact lenses just a few days ago and the company had them delivered to my home, free of charge. Sam and Leen are also very wonderful. They ensure patients feel welcomed and help them as much as possible. They helped me find glasses that fit my face perfectly. Highly recommend eye matter!!

My father had an emergency matter during the COVID shutdown, and this was the only place that agreed to book an emergency appointment and opened up shop to receive us. The service was very professional, every safety precaution was taken, and he really helped my father with the prescription and remedies he recommend for his eye. I went back recently post the shutdown and bought a sweet pair of sunglasses to support this new family business. Highly recommended.

Visited the clinic today with my kids. The doctor and his wife were so welcoming and made the visit enjoyable for the kids. My son who is afraid of doctors was so happy and asked when can we visit them again. New addition to Cambridge and definitely a plus for the community. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

Wonderful experience with Dr Basel Wahib. He is very personable, down to earth and thorough. He makes you feel comfortable, explains everything he is doing and why and seems to genuinely care. Melija was welcoming as we entered and very friendly throughout our visit. My husband and I had an excellent first experience and would highly recommend Eye Matter!
