My family and I have been going to sole optix for many years now.. I love how calming and relaxing the doctors are with my kids. I love the selection and updated styles to choose from and I can’t say enough about the staff and owners. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure you're well informed, taken care of and leaving happy! Service overall is exceptionally great, waiting time was on par, communication was excellent.. the environment was conducive and quite inviting +covid protocols were observed. Love this place. I only go here for my glasses. Today was the first time I got my exam here and it was so simple. They have the most selection of designer frames compared to anywhere in the city. I highly recommend coming here and checking out the selection. After service is amazing if I need to tighten my frames or re adjust.

Welcoming, professional staff that don't try to oversell you and listen closely to what your needs are. Not just eyecare. I quietly informed a staff person that I have an invisible disability that means I can't stand for more than 10 minutes. Without any fuss or embarrassing me, they simply accomodated that. Very clean, well lit and organized with an excellent selection of quality eyewear from the uber trendy to the every day, without being overwhelming. Parking right at the door. Direct billing. Reasonable prices with first rate service - they were right on time for my appointment and thorough in answering my questions. They will be my "go to" for eye care from now on. I wouldn't change a thing.

If you need glasses or sunglasses, this is to the place to go! They have a huge selection of frames to chose from. The staff are all very friendly and pleasant. They understand frames and understand which frames are best suited for each individual. I worked closely with Aly and he provided EXCEPTIONAL personal service! Hey, if you are looking for a great selection of sunglasses and more importantly after sales service, this is the place to shop. They are totally knowledgeable on their products and are great to deal with any issues after purchase. In my case I had a frame that cracked after a couple of years use and there was no questions asked. They helped me with a replacement for a pair of sunglasses that were ideal for cloudy days on the golf course, fishing on the river or out for a hike. I'm back in business and a happy customer! Give them a try!

About a year ago my wife and I each purchased a pair of prescription sun glasses and a pair of regular prescription glasses from the Sole Optix on McLeod Trail in Calgary. Their professional knowledgeable staff were extremely helpful to us in selecting our new glasses. We both found their prices to be extremely cost saving compared to other stores and they had a wide selection of eye glass wear to chose from. Their Staff went to great lengths to ensure our total satisfaction with our purchases. I recently incurred some damage to my sun glasses and returned to the store to have them repaired and I spoke with Dino for assistance. The resulting impeccable service he ensured I received went far beyond my expectations and I couldn't have been happier with the cost savings. I am sure that any other store would not have been as generous in doing for me what Dino did. AMAZING!!! Customer service is amazing! They are generous with their time and attention - very trustworthy and I will only shop here in the future. I started a new job where I’m in front of the computer all day. Within just a few days of my new job, I started having insomnia. I had a feeling it had to do with the exposure to blue light - as blue light negatively affects melatonin production. I did my research online and thought I knew what I needed until I called Sol Optix. They educated me on blue blockers and the different varieties available in the market - as some are better than others. They also sugggested incorporating an anti-fatigue technology (as I was having a lot of eye strain) into my lens. I bought the cutest Chloe glasses with the blue blocker/anti-fatigue lenses. The first set of lenses were too strong for the anti-fatigue and actually made the computer blurry. I went back and within 2 business days, they had a new lens in. No added cost, of course. This time is was perfect - the glasses worked brilliantly! In just 2 days of wearing them at work, I was sleeping thru the night again - no joking! Absolutely life changing as living withour proper sleep is awfu! I now have my 8 and 10 yr old wearing blue blockers when they are in front of the iPads! I went back on Boxing Day and bought Prada sunglasses - which are the most unique gorgeous pair of glasses I have ever seen.Thank you everyone at Sol Optix :)

Upon attending last week from being referred by several other family/friends, we rebooked this week for an eye exam. Once showing up today we were told that we would not have to pay for anything up front, which due to them not being able to utilize sunlife due to previous bad transaction history we would have to pay upfront. The receptionist was quite rude highlighting fine print and shuffling the paper to us as they cannot direct bill my hubby's insurance as I had my own... also not my problem. Meanwhile the previous weekend we were there there were gentleman from brooks they she gave the glasses to without getting an eye exam due to the distance which he could provide the follow in week by email...Personally I won't be returning solely because of the bad customer service from the receptionist. The other floor staff and manager seemed to be very patient & knowledgeable otherwise. Had I have known this in advance I would have simply booked next week when I wasn't so tight on cash. Thank you for the wasted trip as I came from skyview for this appointment.
