Hate this place, cheap but worst service ever!!

I have been a customer of Hakim Optical since the early 80's when I lived in Toronto. Then, I frequented the store on Kingston Road in the Beach. Since moving to Burlington in 2001, I have been a loyal customer of location. Hakim has the best and most fashion-forward frames. I wear only perfectly round frames and have 8 in various colours and an equal number of round sunnies. I just picked up a turquoise pair today along with amber sunnies to add to my collection. Nader was my salesperson - incredibly helpful and friendly and really worked to give me a great price. I recommend Hakim to anyone who wears glasses, wants to look great while doing so and doesn't want to pay Oliver People's prices.

Great service and very friendly. They had the contacts I wanted in stock so no need to order and wait. Saved me money by making suggestion to buy one big box instead of two small. They even threw in some free trial contacts as well. Will be going back next time.

I'm a frequent customer to Hakim at Guelph Line. I keep giving them my business because they keep giving me outstanding customer service! Nadir has been primarily the person who has helped me and he is really quite exceptional. I always walk out with several pairs, different frame colour, sunglasses. I've got many as I like to have a variety to choose from. I always find what I'm looking for and always treated with respect, whether buying one or 4. I've gone in to have my glasses repaired, tightened or cleaned and they always help me. Thank you for your friendly service and value for what I'm purchasing!

I had an amazing experience at this Hakim location. Nadir gave me his complete attention while I was tring to find frames. My order was completed in a professional yet friendly manner. Unfortunately, one frame broke apart while only being used under 10 times. Nadir fixed the lenses immediately into a new frame. Overall, while I was new to Burlington last August, Nadir made me feel like I was in a small town where people know each other and are happy to do business in a personal way. Thanks Nadir snd staff! Well done!

I've been happy in the past but not since I've gotten my last pair of glass.one of the lenses were never cut properly an kept popping out . They were sent in to be fixed 6 times. 4 wks ago I brought them back ,they were going to put a new lense in. I recieved my glasses two wks later scratches all over the frames an within a hour I brought them back because they tint the new lense. Now I'm waiting again two wks for them an no follow up call .I was told it would be a couple of days .well it's almost two wks. Very disappointed !!

I don’t have much to add to these other comments. Customer service here is amazing. I was looking for frames for a few weeks and most other places either suggested one or two frames and gave up when I said I didn’t like them, or tried really hard to sell me frames I wasn’t happy with. Here, I came in 30 minutes before closing, tried on maybe 20 pairs and felt like I had support. I ended up with a good pair of regular prescription lenses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for the same price I would have paid at another place, but these seem like better quality and I had help.

I recently bought a pair of glasses here and must say that the service I received from Nader was excellent. He helped me find the best frames to fit my face and my prescription strength. There were many to choose from as there is a lot of selection. This personal service was missing at many other optical stores I have been to. Great service. I was able to get 2 pairs of glasses for less than I usually pay for one pair and I finally got the sunglasses I always wanted! The gentleman that served us was friendly and patient while serving both me and my boyfriend. Glasses were available about a week later. Disappointed this wasn't one of the locations that could do one-hour, or to find out that that's only for minor prescriptions.

I ended up in Hakim Optical at 790 Guelph Line with the pair of broken glasses, since I only had those glasses to wear, I suddenly became handicap, I discussed the situation with Nader and the Lady at the counter and in no time, they made me select the pair of new glasses and above all asked me to collect 1 pair of glasses in an hour in view of my situation. I am extremely satisfied with the services, the way they professionally handled my situation and I walked away with one fresh pair of prescripted glasses. Hats off to Nader and his team, brilliant work and thanks for helping me when i needed most, lots of goodies coming your way

I arrived at this location 10 minutes before closing and assumed my visit would not lead to a purchase. After all, it takes a long time to figure out which frames are perfect for you. Well to my surprise the young man working that evening took over my search, did not rush the process and made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. Excellent customer service! When I got home I happened to change my mind about which frames I wanted, but I had already tried them on. I was in this week. Selection is great. Prices are great and I found the staff very helpful. Was in again today...how an opinion can change...was told the price I was quoted was wrong. Underquoted by $100. I work in customer service and our customers wouldn't put up with this kind of treatment. I suggested we split the difference - no go. Why is an employee who doesn't know better allowed to quote prices? Too bad what I felt was a good experience was totally turned around. And not even an apology. I was not impressed. At all.
