My fIrst time at the Vision Center left me with a very negative impression. Came with my prescription in hand and the intent to buy 3 pairs of glasses with a budget of $1200 to $1300. The instant I walked in, the sales rep started reading me the friggin' Riot Act with a commanding tone... barking at me on what I COULDN'T do... (I.E. "you could only try 7 pairs of glasses because they had to clean each pair I touched afterward"... really??). Was instantly annoyed and promptly left. Later in the day I went to LensCrafters in Lasalle where I was treated properly. They had a much better selection of products and I'm very pleased with my purchase. When it comes to glasses. I value service above price every time.

I went to the vision center today before shopping at Costco, and was told I needed my prescription in hand. Luckily I got my examination at this location and Jessica was nice enough to get it from the doctor and begin to help me choose frames. Her professionalism and helpfulness didn’t stop there: she answered all of my questions, guided me to logical choices, and patiently waited while I browsed and walked me through checkout and purchase. I’ll wait to see how long the wait for my glasses turns out to be, and how good the finished product is, but my experience today was nothing but positive and even enjoyable. Thanks again Jessica!!

Doctor was friendly, a wee bit fast and seemed overworked, but overall great staff. :) Very pleasant!

When I recieved my phone call to come pick up my trial pair of lenses I was not told that they are not teaching ppl how to put them in. I spent forever trying to get them in. I couldnt get any help what so ever. I wish they had have told me this before coming in. I would have watched some YouTube videos before hand. Now I have to wait till they start teaching ppl how to put them in before I can even order a pair. Im just gonna call around and try to find an optometrist who will help. The problem I was having was the conact lens was sticking to my finger and wouldnt come off when I put the lens in. When I got fed up and tried to get help there was no one around. I ended up leaving.

With my prescription in hand they were unwilling to even talk to me about buying contact lenses without me first succumbing to their "need to do an exam". Go somewhere reputable and stay away from the Costco vision center.

My daughter and I went for an eye exam at Costcos and after we got our prescription we wanted to pick out glasses. There is a special on the following week so I asked the lady if we could pick out glasses this week and come back the following week to pay for them so we could get the deal that was running the following week. The lady at the counter said NO if you're not buying them today you are not allowed to come in. I asked why? her answer was we have to clean each one you touch. I said well that is the different if I touch them this week or next. Her answer was no you can't look at them today. I need to ask one question does every person that look at glasses actually buy the same day anyway. To top it off there were 3 staff member standing around doing nothing. I have been a Costco member for over 30 years and never have i been treated like this. shame on you Costco optical.

Talked me into getting a pair I wasn't interested in. Thought they would help fit them properly - mistaken. They are not there to ensure good fit. Took them home and experienced dizziness and wanting to vomit. They said I just have to wear them more often to get used to them. Never wore them. Checked with an actual professional. They made a mistake on the prescription. They inputted a 1 instead of a 0. But too late. Couldn't return or receive funds back. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

Simply the best. Great prices, great staff, decent selection, amazing warranty. I had a crack forming in one of my lenses and a small scratch on my other. They replaced both lenses with no charge

Haven't purchased contact lenses from Costco in a year so guess what? eye exam! You have my prescription on file and it hasn't expired so sell me contacts and let me leave! Went home, bought the same contacts online for slightly more and way less aggravation!

Poor customer service with unenthusiastic staff who consistently seem inconvenienced to do their job. I would not recommend purchasing glasses here. I will be taking my business elsewhere, there are many glasses stores with similar prices to choose from that would be a more pleasant experience.

After 3 years I was excited to shop for new glasses. Two men were in the vision centre, one was clueless and the other was extremely rude. I have never bought glasses from Costco and was intending to buy two pairs. It was the worst experience so I walked out. Very disappointing.

Dr Gail is the BEST She fitted my daughter who is Special Needs No eye Dr has done this Darlene got Meningitis at Sick Kids as a baby She is registered with the CNIB I am over the moon happy with the care Dr Gail gives I have been going to her for over 10 years Amazing Dr & with Compassion Bravo Dr Gail Reynelda ????
