Rude customer service. Was made to feel rushed and as if I was an inconvenience for trying on frames. Would like to remind the staff that glasses are a very expensive purchase and are worn on the face, therefore it is important to take the time to pick the best option, and try on many before making that big decision. I would rather spend that amount of money elsewhere and not have to deal with the attitude.

This place was bustling on a Saturday afternoon, but we were immediately assisted and were treated like human beings. The customer service was spectacular. This store and staff are the best of the best, I had a small clip break on my glasses causing one arm to come loose, I took them to the store where I bought them and they said there were no parts available. I came here and they examined the problem, took my information and said it was an unusual part but they would find it and call me when in. Received a call, went in, part immediately replaced, glasses cleaned and serviced for under 5,00! They treated me as if I spent 500.00. The best store of any kind in Burlington or anywhere, You will not be disappointed making the effort to come here and it is in a convenient location to do other errands,

When I visited this bias based company I was not asked if I needed help It was quite apparent that I was interested in doing business with them But after asking a simple question. I was not only snubbed but was treated with disrespect . I will not recommend these people to anyone especially my family. Customer service should come before the dollar goes into the bank treating people equally, fair, and respectfully is something that not found here at this store at any price.

Zero stars. Terrible lack of compassion for senior citizens. I would never purchase anything from this store. The eye doctor/owner repeatedly disrespected my grandparents by calling them “old people” to their face while complaining about how they impacted his ability to collect OHIP from customers because they are “slower moving”. So disgusted. This optometrist gives the perception they only care about money and nothing else. I don’t trust the integrity of this business owner/doctor. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GET YOUR EYES CHECKED.

Highly recommend paying Aker Optical a visit if you're in need of name brand sunglasses. I purchased a pair of Maui Jims and couldn't be happier with their professionalism and service. I went to other stores but they were the only ones that had all the models of Maui Jims I wanted to try.

Great family-owned business. I went to this optical for the first time at the end of last year and have since been back a couple times. I have been to a few opticals, both chain and independent, in the Burlington/Oakville area and this is among the best. The owners and staff are knowledgable and helpful. They offer a good selection of contacts, designer and non-designer glasses at reasonable prices. While I've been in the store I have seen many people come in with broken glasses for repair. When I picked up my new glasses they adjusted the glasses I was wearing (which were purchased elsewhere) free of charge. I am glad I found this optical and would highly recommend it to others.

Great store. Went into the store to get replacement frames for my ray bans which I did not purchase from them. The quoted me at a much lower price than where I had purchased them. Employee was actually able to fix my old frames and would not accept payment for his service.... A true professional!

A pathetic and disrespectful service. Have they changed their name into 'Greedy Optical' it'll truly reflect them. Be ready to be insulted if you're only going for eye testing or not going to spend lots of money in the store. A truly disappointment and indeed a black face for the community. ***Response to the owner*** you changed your earlier reply and I have screenshot to that where you mentioned a different story, but moving forward I booked eye exam and paid you cash. Your staff woman got fumed and literally start yelling that how come we're not buying the frames etc. I booked and paid for an eye exam, that's it. Dear Sir, instead of blatant lie/changing replies, it is better to teach your staff to be polite with the customers. I paid for the service, it wasn't free and it is my bonafide right to be treated respectfully.

The worst experience I've ever had with glasses purchase. Not only they topped my insurance allowance to the very last cent, but they damaged my old frame while trying to fit the new glasses. So I needed to spend money on new frame, too. I wouldn't recommend this optometry at all!!!
