After getting my glasses, i never wear them. I had gotten the deal where i get two glasses for the price of one. My main pair immediately started hurting the bridge of my nose, until i couldn't wear them anymore. the 2nd pair had for some reason gotten the lenses warped, like i was looking through a fancy window, making them useless. brought them back, and was essentially told "that's too bad, guess you need a new pair and we don't give refunds." Go somewhere else, my gasses didn't fit properly either, the only reason they're getting a two and not a one is because i went back MULTIPLE times to get them fit, and they helped even though it seemed like i was annoying them..

Asked to receive a copy of the prescription and they wanted to charge $120 for the pupillary distance, not a new measurement, just what they have on file. Is this a joke?

Have had terrible luck. First frames the screw fell out of the lens and they would only cover 50% to replace even though it was still within the warranty period and warranty is 100% on frames. Second pair the arm broke off the glasses and again they wanted to charge 50% of the cost of new frames. Again still under warranty. Will not be going back and do NOT recommend them. My experience is their frames are cheap and poorly made. And even if they say they are warranted- they are not.

Great Experience. I would give them 5 stars, but they don't carry most of the large names in glasses frames. They do have a large selection of obviously their own brand name frames. After contacting several places to schedule a eye check up, the people at Hakim Brockville were more polite and efficient then the others. They also were able accommodated a scheduling issue I was having. The day of my appointment I arrived about 15 min early and the store was moderately busy. They were quick to greet me and get me through my eye inspection. The staff were all polite and respectful, the optometrist was particularly pleasant and seemed to be very knowledgeable. I would go back again.

The last time I was there a couple of months ago, Du Linh was extremely helpful, trying to find me the correct transitional lenses. I was having trouble finding a pair that were comfortable. i had an excellent experience at hakims,i had never worn glasses before just a pair of cheaters from time to time,i had no idea what i was doing. the staff were excellent ,from the time i saw the dr and received counsel ,got my prescription and was waited on by the wonderful customer service staff ,who without their help and advice i would probably still be there trying to figure out what frames to get .i would recommend hakims to all friends and family without hesitation .

Useless. Three staff and so unorganized. I'll stick to Walmart, better service with one lady and for the same service, at least $100 cheaper.

Service was fine at the beginning. After a month the frames started peeling. They replaced them but I was told that "my warranty was now filled". A month later my frames started peeling again (no surprise). They wouldn't help me. Now I'm left to buy new glasses elsewhere. Will never shop there again.

I have been going to Hakim for a few years and the service is fantastic I would have no problem referring them to anyone. From eye exams to purchasing glasses and contacts they are extremely professional.

My wife went here once to get an eye exam completed. She recounted the experience with the male optometrist as fairly bad and expressed he was very condescending. The only reason she didn't walk out was due to the requirement to pay upfront. Go somewhere else where the staff treat customers properly and you can get a state of the art eye exam with best available technology.

Bought two paur of glasses, promised me they will be ready after 2 weeks. When the two weeks passed only got one pair, the store manager was really rude and unhelpfull and said we will call you once we get them. Do notbuy there!!!

Totally incompetent staff. They had an original prescription and still ordered the wrong glasses. Nothing but pathetic excuses and deflection of blame. Either negligent or incompetent or both. So many better places to go. Avoid these fools. ETA: Went back after being told by the staff to come in that day to get them only to be told they STILL were not ready because there was no optometrist in that day to check them. At this point we told them we were going elsewhere and to refund. They refused and the woman threw a literal, toddler worthy hissy fit. Walked out and have now filed fraud charges with the bank and insurance. Terrible, unprofessional place. Buyer beware!

She has always been helpful and professional, often working behind the scenes to keep her customers happy. I genuinely trust her opinion and advice and quite simply we will follow her where ever she goes.

The Male Optometrist was really rude, even telling me to shut up when I was trying to say that the lens looked the same to me. I also am not very confident in my prescription since I couldnt read the second to last line after my appt with the new lenses. It was really rushed and felt I didnt get the time or service expected. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but I would never go back for an eye exam again.

You lost a customer and some revenue..... I have never before been treated with such disrespect. I was talking to associate when someone else walked in and she wanted me to wait while she asked him how she could help him and then proceeded to follow through with his request and left me standing there. Needless to say I left and will not return.
