Great store for getting glasses! I probably spent two hours here trying on various pairs of glasses and the owners were very relaxed, and didn't pressure me at all. They gave me their honest opinions and were helpful in helping me choose the perfect pair of glasses. I checked several other stores in Richmond and the prices here were either the lowest, or equal. EM also had one of the bigger selection of glasses. I also got my eyes checked here and the optometrist was more thorough than any other optometrist I've ever been to. I never felt like I was being rushed. Easy five stars.

I had an eye exam and also purchased prescription glasses and sunglasses at this optical store. . Yvonne and Ray are very professional. They both have great knowledge of glasses and contact lens. They are extremely helpful and friendly. . I have monovision which make it difficult to adjust the prescription for contact lens. Ray did a good job in helping me get a good fit and very patient on my questions. He also helped me on the adjustment of my glasses. . Yvonne is very welcoming and I feel like I am chatting with a friend when I am at the store. I do not feel pressured on purchasing. She is very helpful in helping me to get the right glasses frame. They carried various frames and they are all very stylist. . Dr. Shen did the eye exam for me. He is very patient and thorough. As I mentioned above, with my monovision which are not easy for the examination. Dr. Shen will ask me to come for follow up exam to ensure my presentation is correct. The exam equipments are up-to-date. . Overall, the store is clean, neat. It is not a big store but has everything I need. They also gave me a good deal on my purchase. I highly recommend this store for eye glasses and eye exam.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This shop is very dishonest. They tell you there is "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" promotion on glasses (including lens) and sunglasses, but what they don't tell you is that they jacked up the prices to double the original price beforehand. So that means, you are buying 1 pair of glasses at double the original price, then they give you another pair of glasses "for free", essentially forcing you to buy 2 pairs of glasses when you really only need one. I said I dont need two pairs, and they keep pushing. Very aggressive sales technique that make customers very uncomfortable. Also they just keep pushing me to purchase the more expensive premium lens too even though I had repeatedly said I don't need it. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! There are other more honest shops in the area. I will tell all my friends to stay away from this shop. _______ UPDATE: The way the business owner replied to my review goes to show how disrespectful they are to their customers and how pushy they can be. Yes, sales people's purpose is to sell but should be in a manner that makes the customers feel comfortable and not feel like they are forced to make the purchase. You can be an aggressive sales person, but that will definitely make me not want to be a returning customer. I had a negative experience at your shop and am voicing it out as how I felt it. Instead of trying to remedy the case, you point the fingers back at the customer for having a bad experience instead of trying to think of ways to make it better. Hey, lesson 1 in retail sales: customer service and satisfaction is always key to success.

Peter and his assistant were very patient and helped her in providing great options of glasses suitable for her. Once my wife made her decision, he was also meticulous and detailed in each of the steps to ensure the new glasses would fit her perfectly. Yvonne also stood out for being kind and personable.
