My frame was broken and I went back to see if I could get the same frames and have them re-fitted with my old lenses. They said it was possible and also, since there was a 2 for 1 promotion, I might as well purchase 2 frames. When I received my new glasses they weren’t working and I thought it was because my prescription had changed a bit. What really happened is that they were not re-fitted and my old lenses which are worth a fortune $700 due to my prescription were thrown out and I have 2 sets of useless frames!!!! Sean the manager read this review and contacted me. Six out of 5 for Sean! I got a free pair of glasses and a refund for the frames which I returned! Even though this error occurred July last year!

If I had to title this, it would be "I Can See Clearly Now". I had not intended to seek an eye exam and new glasses during a pandemic. However, the fates were not on my side and my 12 year old "computer" glasses broke causing me to book an eye exam at Clearly (Robson). The results confirmed that my vision had changed enough that my regular glasses were no longer providing effective correction. I have to thank Mariia Spatar for the excellent service she provided me in finding new frames for not one but two pairs of glasses. She was friendly and patient and went the extra mile to try any find suitable frames while I was being quite picky. My new glasses arrived slightly ahead of when promised and are perfect, thanks to everyone at Clearly.

He was so incredibly kind and genuinely cared for my comfortability and satisfaction as a customer. He took his time with helping me find the right pair of glasses and thoroughly talked through the different options for lenses. I even received a follow up email from Effie to confirm my satisfaction. Had a very supportive experience with Sean! I had received a prescription and a pair of glasses that wasn't working for me from another store. He was so patient and thorough with all of my questions, even confirming prescription information with the also wonderful optometrist at one point (despite me not having a prescription from Clearly). All this while training a new staff member during a busy weekend. I now have new glasses that I love with a prescription that works. Truly grateful that Sean took the time during a busy day to help me out. Not used to getting that much attention at stores on Robson, and I really really appreciate it.

My experience at Clearly Robson was great yesterday! Anna was super friendly, patient, courteous, and helpful. I felt well assisted the entire time and never felt rushed. Really appreciated that she helped me pick out so many frames to try on, as the large frame selection in the store can be overwhelming for fist-time visitors. The clinic visit with Dr. Matthew Awad was superb as well. He was very patient and friendly, accommodating my requests to do dilation exam and explaining my eye condition thoroughly. I would highly recommend this location.

Quick service, dedicated and friendly professionals, great prices! I had been looking for glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for a while. I found a pair I liked online and decided to go to Clearly Robson Street after work. Unfortunately the store did not have the pair I was looking for in stock. Fortunately David.W came to my aid. He helped me not only find a different pair I liked but helped me find a pair of prescription sunglasses as well. Both pairs of glasses totalled under $550.00. What a great glasses shopping and optometry experience, amidst a pandemic. Clean, professional and helpful. Dr. Andrew efficiently updated my prescription, answering all my questions with good humour. Then Anna skillfully and instinctively helped me pick out new glasses and sunglasses. She was friendly, listened to what styles I liked and hand delivered them to me to try on. All frames are cleaned after being tried on. I visited the store on Nov 29 along with my wife. The staff if courteous and helpful. The focus on hygiene and social distancing is impeccable. We were assisted by Anna who not only answered all our questions, but helped chosing the right kind of stuff without unnecessary upsell. Another thing worth mentioning is how they handled an angry customer (potential). Even though the person was being irrational, the staff remained composed and answered him professionally. Well organized store with prompt service. I made an appointment for today mod afternoon and arrived on time - the associate ushered me in after the usual covid questionnaire. Within a minute, Julianne was helping me with adjusting my glasses that I bought from Clearly online. The store follows proper measures regarding Covid which is great!! You can actually try on the products in store which are disinfected after every trial. Went into the store to browse a few options for glasses. The staff is very professional. Diksha Managed to show me a couple of different options that i could choose from. I went there and was so confused about the size of glass, and even the color that suit me but then i met an excellent optician (Sandhya) who helped me through all the choices which i ended up loving so much. My sight and the lenses only worked with the frame pressed in and As high to eyebrows as possible. IRAJ was very astute with understanding the adjustment needed to the frames. The lens were checked and they were fine. After IRAJ adjusted my frame everything came into focus with my progressive lenses. I really did not want to return my glasses and because if IRAJ’s experience and expertise within 10 min they are Clearly Awesome! Thank You IRAJ

Took a pair of glasses and asked to have lens updated. Iraj told me that they glasses would have to be shipped overseas to have this done. Therefore I would have to buy a new frame. This is complete nonsense. A complete lie. I phoned Dr. Lens Change in Vancouver and will have them replace the lens. Iraj is a good guy. Very professional. He of course is just doing his job. Eye glasses in Canada are controlled by one or two companies and operate in a monopoly. Our Liberal government does nothing about this.

We met a fantastic rep named Nick Makhtari in Dec 2020 who was very friendly and attentive to our needs without being too in your face like some other reps in other retail stores. I bought a pair of glasses that Nick choose which I am very happy about! Always open to suggestions - especially since what I like is not always the best fit for my face. I was overwhelmed by there staff courtesy. Me along with my friend spend almost 1 hour in store and keep on pinging the staff members to answer my queries. They were so humble and answer all my questions very politely meanwhile they were also careful about the precautions they have to take for the corona stuff i.e. sanitizing the area and computers. Awesome store and staff!!! We have been coming for eye checkups and glasses for couple years. Always prompt service, great specials and promotions. This year I also started using contacts. Aga walked me thru the steps of how to put in contacts, take them out. Tried different options till we found the perfect fit. My partner, Mahiyar and I visited Clearly on Robson Street a few weeks ago to look for some new glasses. We were met at the door by Effie. Effie was very pleasant and helpful. He was very patient and helpful when my partner was trying on different frames. He found the frame that he liked and when the glasses came in the mail a couple of weeks later....it was perfect. Effie is professional; followed up with us when the glasses were on it's way, when it arrived, and inquired if Mahiyar was satisfied with his glasses. Both Mahiyar and I work in the Customer Service industry and we understand what "great customer service" is . From the time we walked into the store to the time we received the glasses...Effie demonstrated "great customer service". "Thank you" Effie for making our shopping experience pleasant.

Since first coming to Clearly a couple years ago, I have never gone back to my old optometry place. The staff here are very professional and I truly feel like they care about their customers in a way I’ve never experienced at other clinics. The optometrist is very nice and Nanci was able to take the time to help me find the perfect frames even though it was a little busy in the store. This was my first time coming in since COVID and they have a great system going where there is lots of sanitation of the glasses guests try on, and there is a bit of a waitlist to get in to ensure that there aren’t too many people in the store at once. If you’re in the area shopping, definitely stop by Clearly for some really affordable sunglasses or frames ????

I have trouble finding glasses that fit properly and I was helped by Sean, who very quickly, suggested a pair that he thought was the best suitable. I ended up trying on several other pairs of glasses that Sean helped to curate for me, but in the end I ended getting the exact frame and colour that he first showed me. I've now had them delivered and have been wearing them for a few weeks and I absolutely love them. Besides being more comfortable than my previous pair and better lenses, these are the best looking glasses I've had. Sean is obviously very good at what he does and has a good eye for selecting a style to fit the person. I also received good service from their staff when I returned to have the glasses adjusted.

I got a call from their customer service after my comment here, and I feel much better now. They returned the extra charges for the contact fitting and charged my account, so I can buy my contacts there too. I just had an eye exam there, and I haven't bought my contacts yet, so this review is just on the eye exam process and the expenses. I was completely shocked when they charged me 145 dollars at the end. They said that it is 95 dollars for the eye exam and 50 for the contact lens exam. It was not clear from the beginning that they charge for these separately. I definitely wouldn't go for it if I'd known. And I have never seen this in any other eye clinic. My student insurance only covers 70 for eye exam, so I am out of money here! The doctor was good, and if there wasn't this issue at the end, I would go back there to get new glasses and contacts.

I had a terrible experience with this company, I traveled from Squamish to Vancouver because some friends recommended this store to me, when the glasses arrived at my house I couldn't see with the new glasses, I went to ask what happened and they told me that they had made my glasses Bad because the cleary store agent entered my information wrong, and that I was never going to be able to see with those glasses so I returned them, sent them and paid that cost myself, when I call to know how to do to receive my glasses again , they only apologized, but the agent did not tell me that they were not making my glasses again, after a week I contacted them again and I found out about this, after almost a month waiting for my glasses I had to pay again and Wait for my glasses again, they haven't arrived yet, I wrote a claim in google reviews and they contacted me offering guarantees and even a refund of money, just words because they still haven't fulfilled anything they said and I don't have my lenses. It is the worst optician company I have ever met in my life. DO NOT BUY HERE! they are all a troop of clowns be careful

I walked in and was given instructions on how to try on glasses due to the covid-19 Health & Safety guidelines, then Julieanne approached me and was very helpful in trying to find the right style I was looking for. And once we found the ones I wanted the whole process was quick and simple. I was in and out within 45 minutes and my glasses were delivered to my home in one week (earlier then stated). I got a good deal for two pairs when elsewhere it would cost the same for one and they have a nice variety of styles to choose from. They had two promotions happening and they gave me the best deal. Ordered the contact lenses from their website. Horrible customer service. After explaining to him the box said daily but what I ordered is monthly. He told me it is bi weekly contact lenses. I told him box said otherwise. Then he told me this means you can’t wear this over night. You can only wear it during the day. After I sent him the picture of the box. He told me the manufacture made a mistake by putting it there!!! Are you kidding me? Their unwillingness to help is very shocking. Would never shop from them ever again. Contact lenses shoppers. I've been coming here for several years to see Dr. Justin Asgarpour and more recently, his brother Andrew. Both are excellent optometrists and make what used to be a fairly stressful experience into a pleasant one. They're knowledgeable, friendly and patient and have never made me feel rushed- something important to me as I've had a few optometrists before who made the entire process of getting my eyes checked rather anxiety-inducing. The store staff at Clearly are friendly and efficient and Effie - the staff member who helped me out today on my most recent visit - was both helpful and accommodating and didn't pressure me into buying anything I didn't want. The only thing that I'm slightly disappointed about is that their in-store frame selection feels a bit limited but that might just be me being picky. The store also complies with Covid-19 safety guidelines, was very clean and surfaces were sanitized regularly. If you're shopping for an eye doctor or somewhere to get new glasses I'd highly recommend this place, though I would suggest going during the week/hours that are less busy (maybe not the weekend) as the store does have limited capacity due to pandemic regulations.

A really good place to find fair price and lenses and glasses. Optometrist is so professional and explain you all you need to know about your eyes health. Staff friendly in the store. The store has a good promotions and you can buy one eye glasses and get another free, and if you decide get the eye exam in the store, you will have a discount in your eye glasses purchase. the purchase is online from the store and you will receive it in your home, it takes 3 weeks but in my case I received it in 2 weeks, so all good :)

I've had a great experience with Dr. Asgarpour himself. However, recently, I've been disappointed by a receptionist. Before my last appointment, this receptionist called me for an appointment reminder on the wrong day. I called back in confusion, and was met with a very unapologetic response, where she just stated that my appointment was on a different day. On that day, I arrived only to be told my appointment was actually an hour later (despite my email from Clearly stating that it was not). I'm not sure if she is just new, but the consecutive scheduling errors left me unimpressed.

Glasses that I had recently purchased were a problem, slipping off all the time and causing neck pain when using computer or piano keyboards. I decided they had to be replaced and Clearly had been recommended. The optician was able to provide what has turned out to be an excellent prescription and assured me that new glasses would not have the same difficulties. His prescription has made seeing sheet music, computer screens and long distances absolutely effortless. DavidW spent a great deal of time with me and his help was invaluable. I think we had every pair of frames off the wall at one time or another. He encouraged me to use my camera to see how I looked in each pair and explained how they might have very different sized spaces for the nose. He helped me choose a very cool set of transparent frames, a second set with special characteristics for working at the keyboard, and he was very knowledgeable about Transitions, Progressives, and the various finishes and thicknesses. The glasses arrived several days before they were expected, carefully packaged and delivered to the concierge as requested. I was delighted with my experience and would strongly recommend Clearly and DavidW to anyone looking for glasses.

I've shopped at this location pre-Covid-19 and staff have always been 10/10 helpful. Today, I went in reluctantly because I thought I had to replace my glasses (from another shop) which have been leaving bruises and tiny blisters on the bridge of my nose for months. When they found out what was wrong with my current glasses, they replaced the little nose pieces with more comfortable silicone ones...for free. I couldn't believe it :) The shop I got them from has adjusted these frames for me 4 times, and never once suggested this as an option. It's only been an hour, and the sores on my nose are already less red. My frames aren't slipping down my nose anymore either. *happy dance* Things are tight this year, so I'm extra grateful and relieved that I didn't have to buy new frames after all! I'll be back in the summer for prescription sunglasses, and will basically never shop anywhere else. THANK YOU!!!!

Came to look for a pair of glasses here this past week, and was helped by Anna! She was super sweet, and very helpful! I was waiting for a little while, since she was busy assisting another customer. She apologized to me for taking a while, since this customer was very chatty! Which was all good! I didn't have my prescription on me, which she assured me wasn't a problem, and was still able to set me up with an order for two pairs of glasses! Once I had found my RX I would then email it to her! (Anna if you see this, I've sent you the email with my RX!)

ZERO STARS - Ordering glasses online has been a complete nightmare and waste of time. Buy your cheap glasses elsewhere and don't make the same mistake I did. Long story short, I ordered a pair of glasses online and they screwed up my prescription by reducing the lenses by (-.25) in both eyes! to top it off they put the wrong prescription in the opposite eye. ( yes I unloaded my prescription correctly) They never sent me a replace pair with my correct prescription because I never sent them a picture of me wearing the glasses? Make the glasses as requested and ship them out, its really not that hard. After a month of no replacement glasses I will never use or suggest this company ever again, far too many businesses out there.

The customer service my partner experienced from Doctor Justin at Clearly on Robson was exceptional. He made special accommodations for my partner that has a spectrum disorder. One of his triggers is anything around his face or neck. Getting his eyes checked has always been an extremely stressful experience. He is one of the exemptions to the current mask mandates which has been has been a daily struggle for his mental health. Doctor Justin and his brother stayed open to do the exam. His patience and understanding of SD and accommodations made resulted in my partner actually having a successful eye exam despite all of the the challenges in todays environment. Clearly is currently my favourite eye glasses store, they have very affordable eye glasses, and excellent customer services. My experience with Robson location has always been good. I went there to exchange my eye glasses recenlty, Rachel M. helped me take care of everything, she exchanged my eye glasses, adjusted my sunglasses, and replaced nosepads very efficiently. She also took time to make sure that I feel comfortable after the adjustment and check with me if I need more adjustments. Recently I had an appointment with contact Lens fitter Aga Villamejor who works in the clinic. He truly is one of the nicest people that I have ever met..but also very professional and very dedicated to helping me to determine the best multi-focal contact lenses that are right for me. I've worn Lenses for yrs but these are quite different. You need to try a few different ones to get the both the strength and the fit right. He has been so thoughtful and helpful through this process ...even through the Pandemic he has stayed in touch with me to make sure that I got the help I needed and the right contact lenses. Aga is truly a wonderful and delightful person to work with and such an asset to the both the Clinic and the Clearly team. :)

I came in today to try on some glasses. I've been to a couple of places and have had a really hard time finding frames (I know what looks good once it's finally on my face, but I always try on the wrong pairs). Vivian P. worked with me the whole time until I found the glasses I liked. In about two seconds she brought over 10 perfect pairs of glasses for my face. An absolute gem! Went in store to look at the selection of glasses, as ordering online was a bit daunting. I was immediately greeted by Lauren who told me about the deals that were happening as well as showing me the frames that she thought would work best for my face shape. She stayed with me the whole time, showing me a wide variety of frames before we found one I absolutely adored. She walked me through the ordering process, explaining my script and educating me on the benefits of each lens and giving me the best deal on my glasses. Am very thankful that she was patient and answered all my questions, very professional and very upbeat. Will definitely be recommending all my mates to go see her in the shop and will definitely be going back to see her when I need new glasses.

I had purchased two pairs of prescription glasses last year from Clearly on Robson, actually closer to 18 months ago. I had to deal with one breaking on me and dropped by yesterday to see what could be done as it was a screw holding one of the arms that had fallen out causing the arm to be separated. I was received by a young lady who after hearing about my issue immediately asked if I had sat on or dropped my glasses. After assuring her that neither had happened she proceeded to try and fix my glasses. After about fifteen minutes she returned, speaking to another associate within my earshot suggesting as it had been over 12 months since I had bought them and she suspected that they had been misused she offered me a 10% discount on replacing them. I expressed my disagreement and reminded her I had only used them normally and missing a small screw shouldn’t require replacement. At this point another employee approached, named Julieanne, took my glasses and within five minutes came to me with a smile and asked me to try my now fully fixed glasses for comfort! I was very pleasantly surprised at Julieanne’s wonderful attitude and demeanour. I asked if she could make them a little tighter. Without hesitation she proceeded to tighten them over a special apparatus, cleaned them thoroughly and again asked me to try them. They were perfect! I thanked her asking for the bill to which she replied that it was a complimentary repair. I was floored with Julieanne, her attitude, smile and excellent customer service. Well done! Such an experience has ensured me as a repeat customer for any future needs for me and my family.

Unfortunately the store I originally purchased my glasses is closed. The rubber nose piece in my $500 glasses was broken and lost. When I went into Clearly I was greeted and within a minute the optical specialist helped repair my glasses free of charge. He was prompt and professional and even helped me fit my previously crooked glasses . He took the time to aligned the glasses legs and tightened all the screws. I really appreciate it - I didn’t catch his name but this was on April 23rd, 2021 at 2pm. I will definitely purchasing my next glasses here. Thank you so much!

A memorable experience of buying glasses Recently, my husband and I went to Clearly to buy multifocal glasses on the advice of my sister. Worst experience I’ve ever had! Hopefully everyone can learn from my mistake and choose to go elsewhere. I will give Clearly props for its cheap prices, however I discovered it’s cheap for obvious reasons. Trust me it’s worth it to go elsewhere and spend the extra dollars. In a nutshell I went for my eye appointment at the beginning of the year and two months later I still have no glasses or contacts. First the lady helping me purchase my glasses did not measure my eyes properly for the lenses and two weeks later I received the glasses with the prescription in the completely wrong place. Upon taking them in to sort of my issue, I was told that they would get it fixed right away and the glasses were on a “rush” order. One week went by, no glasses. Two weeks went by, no glasses, so I phoned to check if they were coming anytime soon. I was told they were still on “rush” and would be there shortly. Finally after three and a half weeks I received them and from what I can tell they sent me the exact same lenses, as it looks no different than it did before. Now I am left to return them or try for a third time, which is seriously frustrating as I am a student and need glasses to see. Lastly, I needed to purchase contacts, but as I was punching in my prescription they gave me, I noticed it was different than what was on the trial boxes of contacts I had been given by them a week earlier. I phoned in to figure out the issues and, long story short, the prescription they gave me had a typo. This was dealt with promptly thankfully however I’m left wondering how they could possibly give me the wrong prescription and not notice until I brought it up with them. I am not the type to leave reviews, especially a negative one, however I want to seriously caution others to avoid this place and save yourself time.

Had an eye exam with Andrew Asgarpour, which was great (very nice, explained literally everything to my hypochondriac self). Afterwards I had Julieanne help me pick out some eyeglasses that were cheap (my words, not theirs) but really nice. She gave me several options and an honest opinion on which ones suited my face. I ended up leaving with two pairs of glasses for a really good price and some peace of mind. Highly recommend.
