My Mother in Law was referred to this office and the experience here was both good and extremely awful. The doctor herself was wonderful, however the receptionist at the office was extremely unprofessional to my Mother in law which brought her to tears. She did not provide the information she needed for her specialist referral and then belittled her over the phone when she called to ask for the information.

The optometrist is wonderful and very thorough. They will answer any questions you have. The reception staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This is the only optometry office that I have enjoyed going to since returning to Brantford.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. At one point I was calling them every day several times a day just to play phone tag and never be called back. I had one girl keep telling me they don’t have a dr in Saturday’s (You’re an optometry office. Why else would you be open if no dr is on site) has another one tell me they’re booked for 5 months, and one tell me they don’t take new patients. I’ve booked three appointments so far over the last two months and they’ve cancelled each one about a day before saying “the dr can’t make it” or another excuse. We were booked for this Saturday and they called to cancel yet again and tried to re book us three weeks from now. No thanks. Don’t know why I wasted so much time with such an unreliable place.

Initially there was some confusion with appts, but to make it right, the owner (I believe) named Duncan called me at home to apologize, and booked me another appt before they were even open! They made it up in spades, and I will use them again. Excellent and thorough doctors and reception staff. It's nice to have a local place that cares so much they call their customers personally to apologize!

The people and optometrists are friendly and great and have given me information about my eyes I have needed for years. It always feels better to know than to wonder. They are very thorough with my appointments and I feel as if I am well taken care of and that they care more about my eye health than I do. They are willing to keep me informed so I can be helpful if my four daughters run into any hereditary problems like Glaucoma so I can guide them. They have inspired me to research more about eye health than I would have on my own and keep making appointments so I won't run into surprise problems in the future as I have always been advised to have regular checkups. If only one of my daughters would follow up on her appointments like she should. They are willing to see her at a last minute notice.

Dr. Khatkur is one of the best optometrist I have had the pleasure to meet. She is very thorough, caring, sensitive and professional. She really knows her stuff and I would highly recommend her. She truly went above and beyond. I was having eye pain, flashing lights and she managed to give me some great advise along with a referral to an ophthalmologist with appointment for the following day. Meanwhile my family doctor did an over the phone visit two months ago and still has not returned my call for the referral appointment with an ophthalmologist. Just saying!!!!

I have many health issues and a disability, and they have been a wonderful support. I am always treated with compassion and kindness. Brantford is lucky to have access to this clinic. I recently read online that Dr. Sareya was recognized by Princeton University as a notable woman in Optometry. I am so grateful to be in their care ????

Previously I had been a patient at one of the long established optometry practices in Brantford but I was having trouble getting a timely appointment due to COVID backlog. I found Dr. Khatkur to not only have a pleasant demeanour, but to be far more thorough than my previous optometrist. I have a medical history that involves an eye complication and she asked lots of questions about it and made me feel very safe and confident being in her care. I’m very happy I made the switch Brantford Optometry and highly recommend them. So much so that I’m writing my first ever Google review.

He was also super friendly and a great listener too. The doctor I saw was also wonderful. I will be returning in 2 years when I'm due for my next examination! Dr Khatkur is an amazing optometrist. She is very thorough and explains things in great detail. She genuinely cares for her patients and makes you feel comfortable in her clinic. Came here for the first time to get an eye exam and am usually pretty anxious when it comes to appointments but the atmosphere was relaxing and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming! The online booking system doesn't work, so someone had to call me to arrange an appointment, but otherwise an amazing optometrist office! The COVID precautions are great, the office is clean and modern, and the Optometrist I spoke to was amazing and really made me feel confident that she had my best interest in mind. I also appreciate that they don't sell glasses, so there's no sales pressure to buy something; it's all about caring for you properly!
