Purchased a pair of glasses from Karl and returned 3 days later for a minor concern and ADJUSTMENT service was refused, as he didn't feel it was necessary? I truly believe if a customer has a concern now a complaint due to service opinions, do the service and keep the customer happy . I won't be returning!!! I

Sue Randhawa is THE expert in town to pick out frames to suit one's face, personality, style and mission. She is a gifted, sweet, fashionable and confidant woman who gets it and is passionate about her profession. The eyeglass and sunglass selection at her store is out of control. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're serious about finding the perfect pair of frames or shades. DO IT!

Quality of frames are outstanding, but that doesn't even reach the amazing quality of service. I am annoyingly perfectionist and every single detail matters to me, job needs to be done to the perfection. Being at my ease at this store was the highlight of my visit. They are perfectionist and friendly and they are knowledgeable about what they sell and even what's out there that they don't sell. I strongly recommend this store. I've always been on the safe side and have always bought the same kind/shape of sunglasses. But today I went for something VERY different thanks to Sue and the other ladies who helped me choose my new pair. They were very helpful and were not rushing me. They were also honest and kindly let me know which ones didn't work for my face size and shape! I definitely recommend this place! There were so many styles and brands to choose from!

Amazing variety of unusual and beautiful frames! Exceptionally courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and patient service. I took my prescription to Sue R. for new progressive lenses. After wearing them for a week or so, I realized the distance was blurry. I returned to the optometrist who performed a second eye exam and found that her first prescription of only 3 months earlier was incorrect. Sue was extremely accommodating and made a second pair of lenses. Thank you, Sue!

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Carl was excellent at judging which frames would look good at me and helped me pick one that I adore. Apart from the fabulous high quality collection, Carl provided excellent genuine customer service and answered all my questions. Millennials and everyone else needs to know about this business and the service it provides. My suggestion to the business: Re-invent the logo (font and color), have a couple social media accounts and encourage people to share the pics of their frames #opticalboutique and make the most of the digital advertising to promote their business for next generation. There is so much scope for this business. Good luck.

I've been wearing glasses for a long time and consider myself to be in the loop when it comes to picking them out. What surprised me about this store was their selection. I'm usually difficult to fit, but the owner, Sue was able to pick out 5 frames that suited my face. She looked at my prescription, skin tone, bone structure (nobody had ever done this with me before!) I loved all the frames and ended up buying 2 of them, a Theo and an Anne et Valentin. 3 different people were helping me in the store and the service was excellent from all of them. This store is easy going, they weren't pushing to make any sales (which is something that is really important to me). I also found out they've been around for 35 years, worth checking this place out!

Absolutely wonderful experience with The Optical Boutique in Kerrisdale. Sue and Kal went to great lengths to find frames that make me feel modern and vibrant. I wanted lots of colour and light weight frames. They asked questions to identify what was going on with my eyesight and how I was utilizing my progressive lenses in daily life. Since I work at a computer all day my eyes were so fatigued, the progressives were awkward when looking at the screen because I was trying to find the right spot to look through the lens, kinking my neck. They recommended getting computer glasses and I'm so glad because they're working out perfectly and they look really snazzy and fun. The staff follow up after my purchase, shows that they really care. I recommend The Optical Boutique to everyone. Thanks for the outstanding service.

Even though some frames can be expensive, they are well priced for what they are.(I have compared with US prices) My favorite optical shop!

Living in Cloverdale I felt that the trek down to Kerrisdale was a bit much for a pair of glasses. The Optical Boutique had been recommended to me by a handful of others so I decided to check it out. Well, from the minute I walked in the door Sue made me feel like the most important Client. Having shopped around prior no one else took the time and care that Sue showed me at The Optical Boutique. Not only did I get a gorgeous pair glasses that so many have commented on but my experience was hands down exemplary. I will be doing the trek down to Kerrisdale now, its a non-negotiable.
