What a great customer experience last Thursday, Denise was lovely, warm & friendly....provided service in a thorough & efficient manner, but never made you feel rushed....I wasn't buying glasses this time, just a small repair, but when I do need to upgrade or replace I know where I'll be going :-)

Walked in to have a pair of sunglasses repaired (minor bend). They fixed them on the spot for no charge. Nice gesture. Please don’t go in expecting free repairs though - just wanted to share a good experience.

TLDR: Amazing customer service. You will not regret shopping for glasses here. I will not be looking anywhere else for my future optical needs. 10/10 recommendation. ---------------------------------------------- I never write reviews, but Space Optical's customer service impressed me so much that I had to give them a shout out. I work as a first responder and had ordered a pair of prescription safety glasses from them. Unfortunately, the store had to shut down due to COVID-19 before the glasses were shipped to the store. I have been working at the frontlines during the pandemic and wanted my safety glasses in order to keep myself safe. I emailed Space Optical inquiring about letting me have my glasses while maintaining the physical distancing by-laws. Not only the lovely people at the store worked with me, they went out of their way in order to accommodate me. One of the employees had the glasses shipped to their house so that they could receive the order. Additionally, they opened the store during a weekend and drove down from their house JUST to give me my glasses. I cannot thank the staff at Space Optical enough for going above and beyond in order to keep me safe.

This was an outstanding first glasses-buying experience! Denise helped my Mum and I find the perfect first pair and she was just fantastic! I went in to choose my frames in the afternoon, and the next day they were ready for me to pick up and take home! I can't say enough good things, they worked with my student-friendly budget, she was so incredibly fast, and their quality is outstanding. Can't say enough good things about our experience at Space Optical! The staff are amazing, especially Denise who goes above and beyond to make sure you receive the perfect pair of glasses. Her attention to detail is spot on, and she's very honest in what you actually need and don't need (I was told by another optical that I needed a pricey coating on my lenses - not true). She even fixed and fitted a pair of frames for me that I had purchased previously. I've never gotten that service anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

My first visit to Space Optical today. I was greeted by an enthusiastic person who made me feel important as a customer. i was there to fix something minor on a pair of sunglasses. She explained what needed to be done and why. we interacted and during that time we discussed other products and my other needs. She had great product knowledge, no upsell tactics, and made some educated recommendations that i would not have thought of as i am not current on eyewear trends and technology. She was the owner. she never eluded to that, she simply provided the best customer experience possible. Professional , friendly and knowledgable staff at this location. Great variety of frames to choose from. Overall - a great experience compared to 2 others in the downtown Oakville area who had no idea what they were doing, they were just looking to sell me something. 4 stars for now until my wife and i complete our purchases of glasses next week. :)

She allowed us all the time we needed to make our selection and gave us her undivided attention. We felt the prices were reasonable to fit our budget. Greatest optical store I've ever been in. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Got to talking about the welding I do and can"t see with the regular safety glasses. They suggested to get safety and welding glasses with my own prescription, best decision I could have ever made the quality is fantastic and I have no more problems seeing. I Would highly recommend this store.
