Had a great experience, I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in the door and the ladies were very helpful they helped me with what would look nice on me with my face shape. Cathy and Tammy are wonderful assets to your business!
Took my daughter there and they were friendly and helpful. The only place I will go to buy glasses from now on!!
This place is amazing and the people who work here are really nice. They have all most all the brands and for good price.
Last month I walked in the store and I was told that the glasses were too expensive so we left. We went to another local store and bought a designer pair and they treated us very well.
I got a new frames from this store. I chose one frame that didn't have a label price on it, so I asked a lady for the price. She told me she'll look for it on the computer, but at the end she didn't look it so she made up the price of those glasses which are $300CAD, but she'll give me a discount of $100CAD. At the end I bought them for $200CAD and I didn't received any receipt. Later I saw the same glasses for $100CAD, so I tried to return the glasses. And the next lady told me there are not refunds because it's store policy. And she told me the policy is stated on the receipt. Receipt that I never received when I first bought the frames. And the first lady never told me about that policy of no returns. I just bough the frames without lenses and I never used them. I believe the store have to tell people about their policies and give them receipts after they buy from this store. I will not be back to that store and I recommend people to see prices before they buy their frames from this store.
I went in today to replace a pair of glasses, and had the best experience. Tammy and Constance were so kind, helpful, and efficient in making sure I got exactly what I needed. They took care of every request that I made and were so friendly. Best customer service I have had in a long time, I would recommend shopping here for sure!!!! Thank you so much Tammy and Constance!
Came in just to browse what style of frames I'd be interested in purchasing, I told the lovely lady who helped me I wasn't going to be purchasing new glasses today and she still spent a good 15 mins helping me figure out what would be best for me and making suggestions and was extremely helpful.
Went in and was helped right away! The staff was very pleasant to work with and answered all of my questions very thoroughly! Got my favourite glasses and didn’t take long at all to come in! Thanks so much to the lovely staff over at Phoenix optical, and a big thanks to Delaney who helped me out that day!

Came here looking for eye glasses and having eye test done. Never had any of these tests done before nor did I understand any of the results. The older lady with dark hair was very very rude and her customer service is subpar. Just because I didn't want to purchase a product doesn't mean it gives her the right to talk to me like I'm stupid. Thanks but no thanks. Giving business to someone is dependant on the customer service provided. It definitely lacks here!
Edit: the morning after I left this review, they called me and apologized, and also are delivering my glasses to me. About 3 years ago I got a pair of glasses there, no problem. Everything was smooth and quickly done. This time? They increased the wait time to ten business days (fair, because covid) but it took over 20. They called me to pick them up finally yesterday, and I went to get them today (which they said no problem on the phone to me) . I get there and there's an out to lunch sign on the door. I got there 230 and it said back at 3. I was driven there so I couldn't leave. Okay, I'll walk around the mall. I get there at 3 and no one is there. Answering machine when I call. Waited 15 more minutes. Nothing. My roommate who drove us needed to leave for an appointment so I never got my glasses.
Went there at 6pm on a Thursday and store was closed. A gentleman who was was outside told us the sales person had gone for groceries.!!!!!

Poor customer service. Ordered a pair of glasses on November 22nd and didn't receive them until December 15th but they were sure quick at billing my insurance. Never received a call and every day I called, I was given a different excuse. Worst even, is that the glass are poor quality with signs of shaving off the bottom of the lenses. And before the owner accuses me of not having the right address or place, I can assure you it is.
Very low quality customer service, they are concerned about the way you look in an inappropriate/rude way. They're glasses seem to take forever to be prepared and if they are taking longer than expected or promised you cannot ask for a refund for something you haven't recieved? If this is the case how about you make the glasses first and call me, then I'll come pay? When they actually exist.
After a bad experience somewhere else, we went to Phoenix to see what they had. The selection was huge, the incentives were great, and the ladies working there were very nice and very helpful. Will definitely go back and I definitely recommend the store.

Well im not to happy Its been 17 days no glasses and I paid for them right away... I have called 3 times and knowone is calling me back. Ive just sent them.an email Ive spent alot of money plus the.cost of my eye test... They should have the courtesy of.calling their customers back
I ordered a pair of glasses and lenses on December 14 and haven't received any emails or phone calls from the store. After over a month of unanswered calls and an email, I'm beginning to question the integrity of Phoenix Optical's customer service. On your website, it says this, "To best serve our customers we try to deliver products quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality". Unfortunately after over month of waiting in the dark, I don't believe I've received the promised service. As a paying customer, I'm wondering if there is anything that ownership can do to make up for this customer experience.

They're good people. I was having trouble with my perscription even after my warranty expired (warranty is 30 days, I wish I remembered) and Doctor Li offered to examine me free of charge and let me know what exactly was happening. Thank you very much, you will see me in the future.
Had an eye appointment with Dr. Ajay Chandail, he only wore a face shield and refused to put his mask on even after politely asking him to do so. He claimed his face shield was sufficient and he didn't have to. He also asked me to pull down my mask for part of the testing. In retrospect I should have left the appointment but thought he was a doctor and maybe he knew better than I did. Covid protocols are terrible, go to someone else.

Can only give 3 stars, as that my experience with other employers (excluding Dr Lee, she is a gem), has not been positive, in fact it was a nightmare.
Decided to try this location after ready some positive reviews Was really disappointed in the staff and their attitude. It felt like they were doing me a favour by serving me. Their prices are way more expensive than Walmart and you only get one pair. Definitely wont be back

Sat on my glasses by accident and bent my metal frame and popped out one of the lenses. I called this place too see if they can fix it since I didn't get my glasses from here and some shops won't help you if you weren't their customer front the start in dealing with some issues. They said that they could and that they can even do it for free if I just stop by. I met the lady on the phone in store and she was super nice and she remembered me. I was greated at the door and they followed the covid safety precautions well. It took about 10 mins (estimate since I didn't really check the time) for them to fix it. And honestly as a student living away from home it was amazing to get such great help and best of all they didnt charge me saying that the issue was small and easily fixable. Thank you guys for the amazing service☺
I was in the store this week to see the Dr. and I was so pleased with the prompt service. I was taken in at my time and the Dr. was very thorough. Secondly although I do have insurance, my insurance does not allow to bill directly to the company. The staff was very helpful in providing me with the information and paperwork that I needed for both the appt and the eye glasses that I chose. I did love the selection even though I was over whelmed by how many they were the staff was very good at helping me pick the perfect pair and to my surprise was something I would never have picked but loved the new look. Told them straight up I am high needs. They assured me they could handle my special prescription. After 4 tries they finally got the prescription close to right, but they bent my $320 frames so far out of shape I had to keep getting adjustments every other day. The arm broke so they replaced it. They bent that out of shape so . Round 2 of temple replacement and I am waiting 15 weeks.

My son and I recently purchased multiple pairs of prescription glasses at Phoenix Optical. The choices of frames and options available for us were well explained and were extensive. I found the quality of the product was superior to many I have had in the past and I have been wearing glasses for many years. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and honest in their assessment of how the frames actually looked when wearing them which is what we wanted. We were so pleased we returned to buy a couple more pairs. Thank you Phoenix Optical!
People seem nice but business itself feels shady. They are quick to take your money or bill your insurance, but they seem to take their time actually getting your glasses ready. Its almost like they are hoping you will just change your mind. Also prices are almost 3x times that of other places. Will not recommend, nor will be back.
I had a rather unpleasant experience with this optometrist office. I had a scheduled eye exam and showed up about ten minutes early. While I was waiting I looked around at frames as I was expecting to have a change in prescription and would likely need a new pair. The employees were very dodgy about my insurance (which I brought with me) and asking me to pick out glasses before I even had my eye exam. Overall the staff was not too helpful. I waited 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time as I really needed my eyes checked but had other plans for the day so ultimately I decided to leave and just go somewhere else who cares more about their customers. As someone who has worked at an optometry office before I can say that the wait should not be that long and customer service should be a top priority.
Bought a pair of glasses two months ago due to an eye infection from wearing my contacts. The service was great, received my glasses within a week, and was offered free updated lenses once my vision returned back to normal.
Will for sure return. The glasses selection was outstanding! I was able two find 3 beautiful pairs of glasses and the price was great, too! The staff were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took notice and care into there jobs and worked really well together! I am in love with my glasses keep up the great work ladies!

Came in here looking for replacement lenses for a pair of Prada TPS 51L sunglasses. When i finally managed to get a staff members attention she treated me as if she was doing me a favour by talking to me for 2 seconds then promptly left after implying that i was cheap because i didnt want to pay $160 (her quote) for a set of non-prescription, non polarized blackout lenses. I have since had them replaced for less than $50 at another optometrist, and am very happy with them. Before trying to reply to my post to give yourself some free advertising, owner -know that I used to manage a sunglass hut, then went on to be a sales advisor for luxxotica a number of years ago. I DO know what Im talking about, contrary to your lazy employees insinuations, and your store is grossly overpriced with a distinct lack of quality service. I also asked to see a number of luxury brands as I was in the market for a new pair of sunglasses and was directed to your ray-ban section. Ray-ban isnt even close to the level I was looking for (tom ford, prada, etc) and your employee seemed to think they knew better than i did, telling me ray-ban was high end before disappearing to the back, but not before taking her cellphone out to text her friends.
