I bought passion eyeglass with original plastic Lens with logo mark on it then I asked to order clear lens which I paid, couple of months past don’t get anything until I followed up they said they will call, wooihhh more than one year past, don’t hear anything maybe because 20$ not worth for them?I’m not going back to this store, hope I’m not the only one experienced this.

I love some of the people here the young guy on sales floor is amazing but the man I think is the owner is very rude unfortunately we asked if he could email our recipet for our covarage and after being rude to us acting as though we are asking to do so without us paying (which we weren't just didn't want to proceed if he couldn't do so) he eventually says he can send it to us by next week. Other then this no complaints everyone else is super nice and prices are really good. I love my glasses and I suggest you go here still. The prices are too good and the glasses selection are too great to let 1 person ruin it for you. They did fix a problem I had quite quickly yesterday which I appreciate. Family has come here for years and never had any issues accept the ine above so i still reccomend this place!

I love a family-run business that's run by people who care about their products and services, and this one is no exception. I have been a customer for a couple of years now, and recently had some bad luck with a frame that I chose in the same week that I lost my last set of contacts. They personalized my plight, assured my my glasses would be set back to rights, and sent me off with some contacts so I could see while my glasses were in repair and new contacts were on order. I didn't expect this level of service, and probably would never get it in a "big box" store. I'm so grateful!

Have been going there for at least 5 years. I have purchased combined with another person, my husband 4-5 pairs of glasses and three pairs of sunglasses. The owner his daughter and her husband are exceptional. They treat you like your business matters to them which is rare. They will adjust your glasses and they aren't happy unless you as the customer are happy. The selection is great and they make incredible recommendations and will order in if not in stock. The owners daughter has a great eye for selecting frames that suite you look and face. I would recommend this to anyone looking for new glasses.

Purchase glasses here and initially thought they were awesome. 8 months later there are 2 cracks in my lenses, not physical damage just cracks. So I went in to ask Gonna be the lenses replaced they said np it takes a week to get the new lenses. Ok perfect, in the mean time the cracks have grown. I call yesterday to make sure my lenses are in and they tell me yup they can be fitted tomorrow morning after 11am. So I leave work at 230 arrive and am told I have to wait because the lenses are not ready. Not to mention they tried to get out of the warranty as the lenses are scratched(mean while they are supposed to be scratch resistant). Now I'm told they have to trace the frame and blah blah blah.......never go to these people. They have a very high attitude issue and it's not like there aren't other places to pitches glasses from. Thanks highland optical.

I went there there the first time and my prescription was too light. it wasn't strong enough and i couldn't see far away signs. I kept the glasses anyways because I paid over a 100 dollars plus the lenses they said they had on sale. The second time I came in my prescription was way too strong. I was dizzy upon wearing them that I couldn't walk properly and everything was way too clear. It was like looking through a telescope. The customer service is nice enough but they really don't take any initiative to go out of their way for a customer when they clearly see that they are in a great state of discomfort from their glasses. I put up the courage to tell them how uncomfortable my glasses were by coming back not even 30 min after leaving the store. They said that it was all new glasses but I've had new glasses many times and they don't make me so nauseous that I can't walk. They offered to put in my old lenses if my new prescription wasn't cutting it. That was nice but I would've liked them to retest my eyes and get it right this time and offer me a free new prescription. I understand the cost of such things but they mucked it up twice and I paid over 300 dollars in total there. I think it's the least they can do. Well my new glasses for the first three months gave me the most massive headache each and every day. I had to take them off immediately every time I didn't need the to see. Which lead to me walking around my school campus blind most of the time. I went to a different place and they switched out my lenses for my old ones because of how strong the headaches were. I don't recommend this place because their eye doctor keeps getting the prescriptions wrong. And the customer service is decent enough but they take no initiative to correct things if they made a mistake. I won't be returning to this store and I hope no one else does.

Very unsatisfied, Horrible Customer Service. They gave me the wrong frames on my original order. Later, when my not inexpensive frames crumbled in my hand I called them to see if they were still under warranty, they said "Yes, come on in." When I got there it was a different story. They lost the info on my extended warranty in their computer system somehow in the 10 minutes it took me to drive over and refused to honor it, however they were happy to offer a number of paid services to fix my glasses. They also refused to give my wife her own prescription information to take our business elsewhere. I'll never use them again. Costco offers same frames at a third of the price.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I can’t describe how wonderful and comprehensive my experience with Highland Optical was. Their staff are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful without any pressure to buy or upsell you. They're selection is large enough without being overwhelming, high quality, and stylish. They have a great mix of brand name and affordable options. Very patient and helped me pick some great options. And best of all AFFORDABLE. At no point did I ever feel like I was being taken advantage of, quite the opposite. They gave me the best “bang for my buck” after I had done some extensive shopping around (I visited 5 other stores, I’m nothing if not thorough). They even special ordered a pair I had fallen in love with at another store (and beat their pricing to boot!), put custom lenses into a pair of existing sunglasses I have and love, as well as giving me a great deal on a pair of their in-house options. The choice to upgrade to the special coating (anti-reflection, etc) was easy when it so affordable. I can honestly say I look forward to returning there for my future glasses and can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Rude, not helpful. Don't even bother. My wife, my son and all came in for eye appointments and hoped to get new glasses. The staff were rude, not helpful. Wouldn't even get off their chairs to help us. They could have had $1000 bucks in business (or more) but that business will go elsewhere.

Really disappointed. Ordered contacts. First, order wasn't put through. Called several times to actually get it done. After few weeks went in as no one was answering the phone. Sign on the door said closed for week. Then finally got the contacts except only had half the number of contacts. Had to wait for second order. After few more weeks got the second order. Then I find out that the contact prescription was wrong. Then had to go back. Now I have to pick up the contacts. So incompetent.

Highland Optical was recommended to me by my father. Quick and efficient service. The help is concerned with providing you value and is more than accommodating to insurance requirements. One of the larger selection of frames I have seen at any vision center from all the top brands. My particular frames were not in, but were ordered with ease over a reasonable timeframe. Everything was highly competitively priced, I was able to get my glasses and transitional lenses, and protective coating at a better pricepoint than any one else was able to offer the glasses.

Had worst experience with my recent visit. I was promised for my glasses to be ready in 10-12 days. I called them after 20 days, was told that these WILL BE ready in evening on that day. I visited them and was told, THESE ARE NOT READY YET and was advised to come next day. I called them next day , if these are ready before going there and was told that yes, these are ready to be picked up. I re-confirmed again, “are you sure that these are ready” and was told, yes, these are ready. Visited and got the same lame excuse “THESE ARE NOT READY YET “. Most surprising thing is , They didn’t call me once about the status of my order, I had to call them all the time even after paying them all amount in advance. Very ridiculous and unprofessional attitude. They don’t deserve any “star” for this but had to give them the minimum.

I've been going to Highland Optical for the last 5-6 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are super nice and courteous when you come in and make sure to cater to all of your needs. They have a wide variety of designer brand glasses along with more generic brands to fit all budgets. I recently got a pair of glasses which took under a week from the time I picked them out to the point I went in to pick them up. I've never had a pair of glasses completed faster with no issues with fit or lenses. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get their visual needs taken care of! The CONSISTENT great customer service, wide variety of options and great prices have led me to keep coming back to this place time and time again.

The staff are very helpful and friendly! I wear progressive lenses and it is critical that the lenses are accurate! I have never had a problem with that at Highland Optical. I went somewhere else and couldn't even use the glasses. I will never go to another place again. It was great to have a honest person when picking out frames.

I've been going to this company for years based on the recommendation from my mother (who has also been going there for years). The selection is amazing, they never rush you out the door, and are always ready to lend a hand in making a selection and to give you their opinion on a frame. I know that there was an instance when my glasses fell off my bedside table and ended up being bent all out of shape under my pillow. They managed to bend them back into shape and made sure that they fit me as well as they did the day I bought them. I cannot recommend them enough! I send all my family. friends and co-workers there!!

They are trying to suck every penny without caring about you. They refused to give me a receipt until the glasses is ready, never see it. Mistakenly, My insurance send the eye-inspection fees to them , and they kept hidden for a year without giving me a single call. Never experienced such a bad service in Canada.

I was greeted rudely and arrogantly. First time in the store and definitely the last, a real disappointment on a visit to Edgemont Village. I did not know an 'appointment' was necessary but that was pointed out arrogantly as well, as if I was to blame for not knowing that. There are a lot of other places to buy glasses, and I was ready to buy, but I think I'll find a place that understands that in retail, first impressions are everything.

Been going here for years but over that past 2 years the service has not been good payed for a name brand contact they ordered a cheaper brand argued with me about it then later got me the brand I asked for. earlier this month ordered glasses they charged my insurance company 25$ more but included a warranty I didn't ask for . Then on the same pair of glasses they called me and told me they were ready but they didn't make them transitions which I payed an extra 140 for . So a week later I finally got my glasses and noticed on the bill they charged me 25$ more told me to come in and get the extra 25$ . Then when I went in they gave me a run around I guess they keep my insurance companies money . Been a customer there for 5 years + and won't be back

I haven’t been offered any compensation for my inconvenience and I will never purchase anything here again and would recommend to everyone to do the same!

The customer service over the phone is poor, and they are deceptive cheats. I actually get my glasses from Eyeview Optical and called them in error. They tried to play it off that they had moved out of the plaza, despite me referencing the location of Eyeview Optical across the street.
