Fabulous experience! I was most impressed with Kelsey who listened to my wants/needs then enthusiastically coached me in choosing glasses that were flattering and the most cost effecient/effective for my purposes. A very funky fun selection of frames. The Dr. and support staff were thorough, kind and provided constant feedback throughout the examination and a detailed explanation of results. The turnaround time for the delivery of glasses was excellent. The moment I put the new frames with lenses on they were perfect. I highly recommend Eye Etiquette.

The best optometrist in town. They have great glasses here, and the store is very nice. What really sets them apart, however, is that they're medical professionals first and sales people second. This is not often the case: many optical boutiques I've been to have focused on the sale, with eye health coming second. At Eye Etiquette, I've always felt that optical care was their main business, and that's why I keep going back even though there are places closer to where I live.

I met with Dr. Peterson and he was both extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and after talking about my eye problems made some recommendations to me. Not only did I get a new eye prescription but the products he recommended to me have greatly reduced my eye difficulties. In fact, he helped me far more than the ophthalmologist I previously visited. I strongly recommend Eye Etiquette and Dr. Peterson for any optical services you may require.

This place is phenomenal. The people who work here are always in a great mood. They are always happy to answer all my questions, no matter how long I am there, and they never make me feel like I’m wasting their time. I go in often to try on new glasses and they are always so happy, even tho I’ve only ever bought one pair! My whole family gets their glasses here, and I have recently ordered another pair because of the personalization I get here. I have never experienced this at any other business and I am so proud to support this one. I love Eye Etiquette Optical, the staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Gurpreet Leekha is fantastic to work with. He is very knowledgeable, kind and sets you up for optimal health. The space is well kept and has a variety of glasses/ contact brands to choose from. They also are kid friendly and have a box of children's toys by the waiting area. Parking is easy and appointments are on time and efficient. Always a pleasure visiting here!

Been here several times for eye check ups as well as problems with my eye. Every visit is enjoyable and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The Dr himself is one of the few that makes you feel as he is actually listening to what your saying and is always incredibly informative. You can tell he likes what he's doing, enjoys teaching you about how eyes work. I recommend this place to everyone!

We're military and I have to say they made ordering my husbands Oakley's quick and super easy! And they direct bill and on top of that they gave us a military discount off our entire purchase! Great service! Everyone on the team is so helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. They are so family friendly! I was able to take all three kids to get their eyes tested over the summer (about 10-15 min each). Besides having fun toys in the waiting room, the staff facilitated my being able to be present with each kid in the exam room by offering to watch the two who weren’t being tested. It went so smoothly and was so much less stressful than I could have ever anticipated! Also, if you haven’t gotten your kids eyes tested, in BC it’s free to do so every year until they turn 18! You can do it as early as 6 months & should certainly get it done before they turn 2 years old! A bit of background: I was shocked to learn that my 6 year old was legally blind in one eye and that her non-lazy eye had been compensating all this time with no noticeable signs or symptoms. I felt so guilty at first for not bringing her sooner. I’m a nurse and I had no idea that I could or should get my kids eyes tested before preschool/kindergarten. Dr. Leeka was great! He was non-judgemental, supportive, and provided great education on the condition. My daughters lazy-eye is now getting stronger with glasses and patch therapy (covering the strong eye for 2-3 hours per day to “re-train” the weaker eye to get working & communicating with the brain again). Here’s the kicker: if diagnosed before age 2, the condition can be completely reversible! I now have a new health promotion “soap box” and am spreading the word! I’m so thankful to my kids’ school, Victoria’s public health nurses, and Eye Etiquette. I’ve learned that some schools no longer have public health coming in for vision screening. If your school does have nurses come to screen vision, be sure to follow up right away if they recommend further vision-testing with an optometrist (eye-etiquette is great)! Thankfully, I had a “heads-up” from public health to take my kids in - this could have gone on unnoticed much longer without their referral. If your preschool or primary school does not have screening, inquire and advocate for change! Tell your friends. Tell anyone with kids, especially young ones. You could make a difference in a child’s prognosis for complete vision recovery! And that would make you a hero! Have a great day:)

1 star is 1 star too many. I am very upset that Stephanie, Holly & Malorie, the ladies who happen to be working at the time, representing this store, could treat my senior mother with such disregard & disrespect... She called to reschedule her appointment for 15 minutes after the inital time as her ride was running behind. She ended making it to the store just in time for her rescheduled appointment. AFTER asking her to provide her health care card they tell her she can't be seen as it's now literally ONE MINUTE after her appointment time. If they could not honor that time slot they should have told her before confirming the new time for her to get there. Seriously... being in the customer service business, you are supposed to do what you can to accommodate your customer, afterall, what would a business be without your customers.. Repeat and referral business also goes a long way and we will make sure our experience is heard by many. ** in response to your response ** Her appointment was changed by your staff over the phone to 2:15 and she was there at 2:15, also your staff did not mention anything to do with COVID protocals at the time so your COVID explanation is invalid **

I bought a set of blue light glasses from Eye Etiquette only to have the frame break 3 months later. The frame broke while putting the glasses on. I expected them to last a lot longer. Quite disappointed with the glasses that I bought.

It's hard to choose my favourite thing about Eye Etiquette. I love their frames and the quality of care I receive from their optometrist Dr. Leekha. Whenever someone asks me where to find the best frames in town - I always say Eye Etiquette! Full disclosure: I've worked with Eye Etiquette for a number of years as an optician and later as a marketer. However this inside look continues to show me how Eye Etiquette's team is always on the look out for not only making sure their patients have the best fashion eye wear choices, but that their health is also looked after as well!
