I've been coming to Envy Eyewear for five years now and have always been treated kindly and with respect. The optometrist and Yasmin are always helpful, and tried to accomodate me/my budget with different options! They are a boutique eyewear place, and apparently I like expensive frames but the quality is awesome (& the warranty is wonderful, too)! They have deals that happen occasionally throughout the year as well so keep an eye out if price is a concern for you! You do get what you pay for and I've naught been disappointed. Thanks for all your help and hard work so I can see! ????

I went in for my eye exam appointment and the Optometrist wasn't even there, then when she arrived she was on a personal call...no rush (even though I was on a timeline and my appointment finally started 15 minutes late - quite unprofessional in my opinion). The eye exam itself was professional and well done though (to my knowledge). Ended up being prescribed reading glasses, picked out some nice frames and placed an order totalling over $600 (as I now know this is outrageous, and were some of the cheaper frames they offered!). Came home and did some research and realized I did NOT need to spend $600 for reading glasses, so called to cancel the order (I've since learned that Costco and Loblaws offer similar services and frames for a fraction of the price). Was told that they could refund the frames but could only refund half of the lenses (even though I left a message 24 hours after ordering, was told this was not sufficient). In addition to this, when I compared my actual prescription to the order form there were two different sets of lens prescriptions so I'm fairly certain that the actual glasses would have been the wrong prescription (which was verified by the place I ended up getting glasses from). Fairly big deal, really. I felt that the staff was apathetic and inconsiderate of the enormous waste of my time and money. I would not return here, would not recommend it, and have since found lovely prescription glasses for HUNDREDS less, and got the correct prescription.

I live in The Beach area of Toronto, and Envy Eyewear Boutique is very close to where I live. I’ve been getting prescriptions filled there for many years and thought it was time to express my appreciation. Yasmin, the owner, is super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Collecting cool frames is somewhat of a hobby, and I’ve placed some technically challenging orders involving custom tints. On the rare occasion when I’ve had a problem with an order, Yasmin has always made sure the issue is corrected. She is genuinely passionate about her work, and it’s evident in everything she does. I highly recommend Envy Eyewear Boutique!

If you’re going to buy glasses and you live anywhere near the Beach, this is the place. The team here took amazing care of me - and really, really took the time to make sure my glasses were fitted properly (something other mass chain stores or even optometrist offices don’t do even nearly as well). This is a very clean, well maintained and appointed store. I came in with a question and very little knowledge regarding what I required. A cheerful employee answered my questions and told me the issue with my sunglasses (purchased elsewhere) could be fixed free of charge. I brought the pair in on another day and met the owner who was happy to oblige. After a few minutes she was able to adjust them to fit correctly as well as comfortably. The floor layout is spacious and it's well lit so overall a comfortable place to shop and browse with no hassle if you just want to take a look at what they have or stop in for a question about their services.

Friendly and helpful staff unfortunately we paid $291.56 more here than we should have and "all sales final no refunds". My husband ordered lens and glasses I told him to just look and we can price but they were "on sale". for $672.50. He paid and he is to pick them up next week. We went to Karin Rummell as I needed to book an optometrist appointment for myself and while I was waiting he saw the identical lenses. So we said can we get a quote selected the identical glasses, lenses right down to the Nikon coating plus and final price was $380.94 all in for same identical glasses and lenses. As it was final sale no refunds nothing could be done. I know where I will go for my glasses and I told my neighbour our experience today as she needs glasses. My husband and are are both very upset as its not a couple dollars difference its almost $300 difference. Lesson learned as its final even though it was just ordered today and not received but now we know where to go in the future.

HI, Just want to give a big shout out to Yasmin and team at Envy Eye Wear. Great service and advice on eye wear. I just bought a pair of progressives there and was initially skeptical on these glasses having had an unpleasant experience with a pair I had a few years ago. Yasmin explained that the technology had come quite a ways since then and she was sure right. She set me up with a new pair and when I tried them on they were perfect - no adjustments needed. Had I needed any adjustments, Yasmin assured me that they would be made until they were right for me. So lots of assurances there and total customer service all the way. She's good at what she does and I'll be if you shop for glasses there you'll agree with me. K
