Not happy at all with the delivery service. I would never recommend to have anything delivered to your home that there may be chance you are not there. I ordered a laptop. Most places would require a signature due to the value of the laptop. No....they left it on the top step not even in front of my door with no signature in plain view for anyone to take. What business has the right mind to do that! This is not a $2 item. Never again. I am just happy that after 3.5hrs I was still there when I got home.

Not impressed. Waiting in line at the print shop, I had to wait for the employee to try to fix equipment, find another employee, to watch the other employee try to fix the equipment. The cashier I asked to help me, passed me off to wait for the employees to finish watching the other employee. They couldn't fix it either. Bad customer service.
They advertise that they recycle electronics but in reality they only want the easy to move around kind. Keep your photocopiers and big laser printers away. Personally I think that's just lazy and they should clearly state the fact they don't recycle business e-waste. Funny thing is they sure don't mind charging you out the ying yang for toner. Or making a buck or two off your old returned toner cartridges.
The new location is great and all the team members have always been helpful in helping me find stuff. I usually use the print services and an occasional purchase of headphones or other technology products.

Today I orden the liquid protector for cellphones they offer for 30 dollars... ITS A JOKE!!! ???? my phone had a scratch and I asked if this covers the feeling of the cracked glass, they said yes!! So I did it... but after 30 minutes they just gave me my cellphone worst of what I initially has it.. so DONT EVER USE THAT SERVICE AT STAPLES
They had what I wanted and their lay out related to Covid traffic was commendable. I found some of what I needed but had to find a staff member to find the rest. If I had not asked for help i do not feel it would have been offered to me. As I have only been inside this location a couple of times I don't want to judge too harshly yet. Curbside had been good so far.
I had give one guy credit, he just started three weeks ago. Today he asked me questions to better understand the products he was selling.. Now that is good customer service. Eager to learn to be better serve others.. Four stars because I didn't find what I was looking for :-)

Absolutely the worst customer service via telephone I have ever experienced!!! I have an item in for service and for 3 days I have tried calling the store and the phone rings and rings...then an automated message comes on and it rings and rings and finally the message says we cannot answer your call right now and hangs up on you. What a marvelous, impersonal and unappealing feeling you get. I could have driven there faster than the amount of time I have spent calling and waiting and waiting.....and I am coming from Fort Erie. Just plain awful.

Not really happy with them this time, we had our Samsung Tab reformatted at there request or suggestion,we said ok I mean it was under warranty and we also have a 2 year extended warranty as well.One week later I got a call good news it's ready bad news it is going to cost us $100.00 dollars. More bad news the problem wasn't solved it still has the same problem which is it sometimes it won't advance or return when you tap it with the soft of the finger tip,sometimes I have to tap it 4 or 5 times....whatever

Terrible, terrible customer service. Nobody answers phone calls, and when you take time out to go there, the manager tells you they dont have what you're looking for and go order online. No offer to get it for you or show similar products. Terrible! Then I went there in person and a young guy was so patient and helpful. Absolutely loved the customer service. So I think it is a hit and a miss, so for this reason, I am giving a 2.

Had an urgent request (large print job) as Purolator had lost a very important document that had to be somewhere before 1 p.m. today. They went above and beyond and helped to help us and I would definitely use them if I had to print in Belleville again. Just a note that I am Ottawa and they came through when we needed them. Kudos to Leanne and her manager for being top notch!

Awful customer service while picking up business supplies. Product not stocked on shelves, workers around not willing to help. Had to lift overstock boxes and open stock boxes myself. Resulted in a box cut on my finger. As employees stood around gossiping about others, or walked by, not asking if I needed assistance. Upon checking out, I put oversized items on the counter at the front to pick up ink. They had time to take my items and return them to the shelves. Voicing my frustration at the checkout, with the manager present. There was no inquiry or regard for my disgruntled experience. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

Needed Christmas party invitations copied. Friendly staff provided a free sample. After approval from the boss (wife) I got a batch printed. The laser printer copies were beautiful, with rich colours I could never reproduce on my inkjet printer. Copies cost me 50 cents apiece on their beautiful parchment paper. Very happy with the service, price and quality.
Wow- great store! Large enough to carry most everything you’d find at a location in a larger city. Centrally located near many other retail stores. Service is top notch! Not too happy with my two last visits. First visit was done after having placed a phone call to the store to speak with the FedEx shipping desk. I was told the shipping desk was too busy to take my call so, I explained my situation (at home printer failure to print out my shipping labels etc.) to the employee on the phone (Josh) who proceeded to tell me that it was no problem and that the shipping desk could print them out for me. I asked if there would be a cost associated with doing that and he said no, I'll just have to send the email to the staff when I arrive and they will print them out for me. I got there, not 30 minutes later to have my labels printed out, nobody in line, 4-staff members behind the desk, yet spent a good 45-min or so waiting and then, had to pay nearly $7.00 for three (3) shipping labels & paperwork. Second visit, got there 10 minutes before closing, knowing EXACTLY what I needed but, since printers are on display and need to be brought down from storage, I needed someone's help. I walked around and found an employee (Josh) and asked if he could help me.... he rolled is eyes and grunted!!!! He followed me to the printers and I pointed out the unit I wanted and that I needed cartridges, the store didn't have any. I picked out three (3) other printers and, the store didn't have any.... What's the point of having a store if you're not going to carry stock!?!?!?! Then, he bluntly says, "well, maybe you should look online". Not impressed with the store, or the staff.

Went in looking for ink cartridge. Couldn't find it I am for help and they helped me right away very politely. Told me the recommended cheapest one and worked great. Staples brand cartridge with guarentee 20$.
Terrible online delivery experiences. Last week, my order wound up a block away. Thankful for honest neighbours. Wrote Customer Service, and not so much as an apology. Ordered a tablet prior to that. Shipped in a large box with NO padding.

Many experiences with Staples for business purposes. Sometimes checkout is quick and customer service is good, never exceptional. Have had experience where I am the first person at customer service counter and they helped others ahead of me. The prices are rediculous, was purchasing envelopes from them for quite awhile and next thing I know they jacked up the price by $10. WHAT? So now I will just head to St. Catharines to Beaties for all of my business needs! Also, when has there ever been a rule to check a person's licence for a debit card purchase? Well, yes this happened to my husband. He has a PayPal debit MasterCard which is directly attached to his funds in his bank account, and was asked to see his license. I guess if your not a white person you can't have these things without people thinking your a thief or a scammer! RUDE!!!
OMGOSH!! I have the first copy of my hardcover book thanks to Neil in the Print Dept! He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and has a genuine quality of wanting to help you get or find exactly what you are looking for. I hope he never leaves or I will have to hunt him down lol! He knew exactly what I was looking for and how I wanted the end product to appear.

I was harassed by the Manager every 30 seconds he came to see me to tell me we are closing in xx minutes. Subsequently at 8:00 p.m. he asked his team to close the cash desks, telling me that they must come home. I was there for printing and a fax. he didn't let the girl finish her fax and had to give up under the pressure he was putting on them. I was very frustrated it was not my fault to be able to enter the store a few minutes before closing. You might as well close the doors 10 minutes beforehand rather than suffer such humiliation from customers. The employees were watching the scene while the Manager kicked me right out ... What a frustration..It is intimidating. he stood in front of the door, gesturing for me to come out. I have always bought my printers from Stables..I will never go there ... I have been using Staples regularly for final client proofs for the past 5 years. I use the online upload print service then pick up my order. Aside from a few errors in printing along the way (usually new staff training) they are always quick to fix the problem and have my work done on time for meetings. The staff is friendly and efficient despite the fact that they are usually juggling many print jobs at once.
Awesome service. The folks working this particular day, 1) went out of their way to find the right product; 2) they talked to my Technician, who was in the field, and gave confirmation of the product. 3) As I needed four units and they only had two, I was able to pay for all and pick them up at another Staples Store, on my way home. It was the best customer Service experience in a very long time, given our fast paced, distracted world!! Thanks Staples on Kelsey Drive! :)

We have always liked shopping at Staples in Truro on Robie Street. The last two times we were there one of the young men who work there quickly came to help us.. His name is George Chapman... he was most helpful and it was clear he would do everything in his power to give us the best shopping experience he could... He went beyond the call of duty to help and made us feel like we were important customers. He showed us how to use the kiosk up front any time we are in there... and how to watch for sales on items we are interested in at home on our computers.... We were very impressed with George. We'll be looking for him when we're there again!!

Went to print a pdf and the printer can't read the latest Adobe PDF. The only staff who said she would help walked away from the counter and started to walk around the store and organize shopping carts?? Left me waiting for 15 min. Finally I had enough and asked for help from a cashier. That guy tried to help but he knew very little. In the end I was suggested to use the 30 cents per min computer to manually view and print. Left and won't come back.

Went to return a $14.97 + tax pair of headphone that were not needed. Had the original receipt but had lost bank card used to make original purchase with. Clerk told me that he couldn't do the refund to the new bank and could put money on a gift card. I never shop at Staples to start with, so having a gift card is pointless to me.

Wow wow wow. What terrible customer service. I spoke to 3 different people, two days a part each time, who kept telling me my cards will arrive "by tomorrow". Was quoted 3-5 business days and it has been 9 and I still don't have my cards. Then when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I would be put on hold, and was hung up on. Will never order from here again.

Been shopping there since it opened. Use it for everything from large print orders to needed supplies and just about everything else. Prices are great, service is second to none. I have yet to meet or deal with a single rude staff member, everyone of the folks there go out of their way to assist. The manager is one in a million, and genuinely cares about the staff and the customers that shop there. Mo (Mohammed) the tech genius is the most knowledgeable, gentle, and kind human being who goes out of his way to help. I recommend no other store for computer supplies or other stuff you may need, and I sure have tried other places. You need something or have questions, go there. You won't regret it.

Normally it's a go to place for my electronica but this was the 4th time in a year that advertised flyer specials they were out of stock and weeks before it was to come in But as they will honor prices for specials out of stock they did advise a competitor does the same.
Staff treated me like I was a thief. I walked around looking for a fire stick, while being stared at. I had to ask for help, and then was ushered to the cash event Hough I was not finished shopping. I will never step foot in this place again.

When I tried to pick it up the general manager told me that he doesn't make any money off online purchases, so I should just leave. He didn't even offer an alternative to my purchase. I will be shopping at Best Buy from now on.

Bought a VR device from here. Doesn’t work well, the package didn’t have a manual. It has a remote controller but not compatible with the device itself. Thought it would be a good product as bought from a renowned place, but was disappointing. Upon checking the same online, it turned out to be a third grade manufacturing which was 4 times cheaper than the Staples price tag. It’s sheer cheating

Had dealings with two ladies in the print centre who were extremely accommodating and professional. My invites for my baby shower turned out perfectly. The head of the print centre was very patient with my changes and making sure I loved the product before I left the store.
Recently did a large printing project at Staples that became rather...... frustrating. Without the assistance of the young lady working there I'm sure I never could have completed it.She helped me with the many issues that came up during the week I worked on it..... quickly..... and always cheerfully.

I was looking for specific item, larger value items are locked away but the peg where my item would have been had numerous cards to be selected and brought to sales person. If you see 10 or more cards you might assume they have it in stock but they didn't. Very misleading. With so many shopping options available DON'T mislead the ones that walk through your door.

Overpriced on some items.Ex: Laptop have older specs .Sells as the same price of a newer more powerful version. ( Rtx 1650, same as Rtx 3500 laptops out there ). For office supplies, they have good prices and variety. ( Paper, pens , dividers etc..) Memory and storage are also overpriced by 25% - 50% of what you can find online.
Pricing is ridiculous but most of the stuff should and can be ordered online... Great for individuals such as teachers and educators of all sorts... Many filing, writing, and study aids on hand and readily available.

My experience was a bitter and a terrible one. The Portuguese-speaking lady at Purolator - Marilyn or Madilyn had no idea what she was doing and did not give me a tracking number for my package. I had no way of knowing its whereabouts and as a result ended up with phone calls and emails day after day. She neither gave me the receipt so it was useless.

Don,t like the way extended warranties are written on the receipt. You pay for an extended warranty only to find out this is not. I paid an extra 19 .95 and the agent said I had an extra years warranty but guess what the big boss said no warranty and she didn't, know who sales number it was that sold the chair well over 300.00 dollars and she was not going to look. Watch for extended warranty at Staples. The Best Buy always write the date for the warranty to expire

I used to go to staples a lot a few years ago for most of my business and personal needs. But given the cutbacks and the less need for paper and other supplies, I started looking elsewhere for some things. While they still have a number of items that I get there, I have a bit more selection for some items. They are still a solid store with a lot of suitable items. And the staff have always been helpful. It is mostly now when the sales are more targeted to me that I will pick other items up because I am there. And there are a number of smaller items that I still get there.
Spent a total of 25 minutes January 4th 5:30 till 5:55 playing Phone tag trying to get to customer service personnel (their phone system screams out go to another store) i am a small business and my time is valuable if a dedicated line to customer service that was answered in less than 8 rings would make me happy so would a little product knowledge.. the St. Catharines store i so much more helpful...

I usually have a good and very helpful experience at the copy centre at this location, but the girl that I had the displeasure of dealing with yesterday was completely the opposite. Most unfortunate.
Store was clean and organized. I purchased a Geometry set and made some copies during my visit. The man behind the counter helped me navigate through the process and I was able to make copies. He wasn't 100% correct on the sizing procedure and I had to make 2 extra copies to get the correct size.
Just walked in to buy a Asus RT5300 Router. Sales kid was on me in seconds. Told him I want to buy this item for $379. He shockingly says "really" I stated yes. He grabs the box and days he will have it at register and starts the additional coverage portion of the sale. I tell him not interested. A few minutes he appears at the register without the router and tells me it will be a few more minutes but while am waiting he wants to upsell me the additional coverage still. I tell him no thanks just cash me out I want to get out and get home. His response is to say it is his job to tells about the additional coverage available. I then preceded to walk out telling him to sell to someone else. I will never walk into this Staples again.

Not much competition for office supply stores nowadays, I guess Staples is fine for the most part. You can pick up a printer for cheaper than most printer ink cartridges now, which is pretty ironic since they come with a free ink cartridge. So you can get a better deal on replacement ink if you are willing to throw out a perfectly fine new printer each time, which is basically a perfect summary for the horrors of free trade and deregulated industry. So Staples makes me sad for the unsustainability of capitilistic democracies every time I go in there.

Terrible Service for Online I tried buying a laptop here and my order got cancelled the day before i was supposed to receive it. I call customer service and they say someone will call me to verify my information but no one ever called. I place the order again and it gets cancelled again and no one ever called to verify anything or tell me why I'm being cancelled. Customer service cant tell me anything useful either. It's not my credit card because this has never happened before - and no one seems to care. I asked if there's a store nearby where I can buy in person and the guy sends me to a store 3 cities away - but then i did some research and saw there's one at a store 20 mins up the street. Tried calling that store and no one is picking up. This company is a joke ! Terrible service. If Staples doesnt want my business, I'll go elsewhere. This is ridiculous.

They have products displayed on their shelves but are apparently out of stock of most items. Went to buy a video card and the box was on the shelf, I take it to the check out the staff member there goes to the back of store to retrieve the item and there's none left. I asked for the store manager to ask if I could get a rain check or something like that, but the manager doesn't think he has to do anything, hes rude and says it's not his responsibility to make sure his store has been properly merchandised and the shelves are stocked with actual product they have in stock and not just the empty box. I wouldn't ever shop here if I had to. Hopefully your experience is better.

For the past several years I have used Staples services for numerous print jobs and direct mail outs. Staff is always quick to help and very polite and friendly. The turnaround time on print jobs is fantastic and the results always satisfactory.

I have been in 3 times in the last month and they have 2 GTX 1660 TI video card boxes on the shelf with a price tag that says bring to counter to receive product but when i bring one to the counter to buy one, they say they don't actually have it in stock. I have asked why they put them out and they say for display purposes. Why do you keep putting the same 2 empty boxes back on the shelf if you don't have the product to sell? Its a decent store for office supplies but for pc components, apparently they are just for looks...
I don't know if this goes for all Staples locations or just the Niagara Falls store but this is literally the worst printing service I've ever used. The quality of their printers is sub par and their staff rarely seem to know much about printing. If you need to print anything else other than a black and white text document, I highly recommend going anywhere else.

Highly disappointed with the service I received this evening. When waiting at the service desk I had multiple employees look at me but no assistance, after 5 minutes a women comes over and I’m asking about the self printing station. I had called earlier in the day learning about the station and was told I could pay when I was done the service. The printing station only uses credit card and you must insert the card to start the service. You are able to use a gift card but I wasn’t sure how much the total would be not seeing a price list at the station. With going back to the service desk I was told I’d have to wait in line to buy the gift card but there was only 3 minutes left before closing, one lane open 5 works and 7 people on the line up. Doing the math it would not give enough time to then use the station. I would definitely not recommend going to do your printing business at this staples especially if you are a college student.

Jtown media gives staples a 4 star ,due two very clean store , great customer service and the prices are not bad .I had to find a charger a customer directed me to were they were and i was in and out before you no it so my experience was complete as the shopper.
Bought computers from this store over the last few years. First computer was a refurbished HP Slimline runnning windows XP. computer ran fine for the first 4 months before it started to run extremely slow for no reason, even after extra RAM was added. Eventually the computer stopped going into standby mode and eventually entered what now realize was a boot loop, which could only be remedied by a factory reset. The second was a Toshiba laptop that lasted about 8 years, the only major issues i had with it was that the battery wore out fast and had to be sent away, followed by the charger dying 2 weeks after i got the laptop back. Then 3 years after i got the laptop, the CMOS battery died. Staples wanted to run diagnostics and other services instead of replacing the CMOS battery. They said it was a motherboard issue and that the battery was sautered into place(it wasn't, it was a clip type), and urged me to buy a new laptop as it was cheaper (it wasn't). More recently, they renovated the store, making it much smaller and stock levels smaller. It's near impossible to get anyone on the phone. I've been calling since late October/ early November for questions in regards to their products and for class assignments where we have to interview people in the IT industry to get information we need to complete the assignments. Calling 5 times in an hour to get no response is ridiculous . Recently I went to Staples to buy a laptop for school with money from a laptop grant, and they only had 2 of the HP laptop i wanted in stock. The first was refurbished but they wouldn't drop the price like they used to, or their on floor model which while sightly dinged, had a charging problem with the battery. They stated that they weren't ordering anymore in and that if i wanted a brand new one I'd have to wait 2 weeks for the laptop to be sent away to have the battery replaced and returned, being warned that with the approaching Black Friday sales and Christmas, it could take longer. They assured me that there was no issue with the refurbished machine so i asked to test it before i decided. Right from the get go it was acting weird and very very slow. I took my business elsewhere and got a better laptop. Spoke to a manager yesterday about a call back i never got. I stated that i had called 3 hours prior and i was told i'd be called back and that i had called 5 times before the manager picked up the phone. She stated that people were in the IT room and that there was no excuse for No one picking up the phone. The IT manager was in the office and was able to take my call after being transferred (he's an awesome guy). TL;DR their customer service is great in store, but be wary of any refurbished machines and make sure if it's refurbished, that they drop the price. You're going to have problems getting someone on the phone too.
I love this staples store. When the stores are open for in store shopping , they have plenty of staff to ensure fast service. They do need more subject matter expertise. I wanted to find out more about the difference between amd and i core and the employees knew very little about it. What i was really impressed with was their performance during store closure. Staples offered next day delivery with no Minimum , i found that very helpful since i dont drive and work from home. I ordered a lot for delivery and always got product next day or even same day. Once i missed my delivery and instead of sending it to shipping dock , they re delivered it to me . Very happy with staples

Paid for a download gift card. Took over a week and two complaint calls before they sent me another verification email. They wanted to wait and see if a physical gift card showed up in the mail. They acknowledged from the start it was a download but didn’t know how to correct it.

This is the second time I have went to staples to have items printed. First time was for my wedding stationary and with this this order, I needed about 500 colour pages printed out. I stood in the printing area for 15 while the people behind the counter worked on computers and not once did they acknowledge me there. I understand that they are working and are busy but a simple " ill be with you in a moment" would have made all the difference. Today I went there to get business cards, and other stationary printed out for a fundraiser that I'm running and low and behold, same thing! I stood there waiting for another 15 minutes before someone helped me or even acknowledged me there. Then I asked how I could get items out of my email to print and I was told to rent the computer at $0.30 per minute and print that way, or go get a USB drive with everything on it. That's fine I get that part but it was the tone I was told this in, almost like I should have known this information before wasting this persons precious time by asking a question. I do not suggest going to this store as they are completely incompetent and lacking some serious customer service skills. I will never attempt to have ANYTHING printed here again. I will pay the extra and go else where.
Knowledgable staff and helpful
I've used the printing services at this location fairly often as its' located very near to me - we're practically neighbours! The first time I used the services, I actually had a bad experience. The staff that had attended to me was providing false information to which it almost seemed like she was avoiding wanting to help me - so I left. As our family has a local business in the area, we needed to get some of our menus printed out so I decided to test my luck and visit this location again. Lucky for me, I met a gentleman named Justin who I believe is part of management - he was so helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and was able to turn my previous bad experience into a real good one with him. I appreciate you! Based on this experience, I decided to keep coming back and on the most recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie! She too, was so helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and really good at what she does! I appreciate you too! Because of these two individuals especially, I will continue to come to this location for my personal and business needs! Kudos to them!

The person on the desk whom printed my photo was exceptional! Very friendly and efficient! However I walked around the store and was not offered any help . When I went to pay for my purchases . The cashier was training a new person . Neither were friendly nor approachable. I said to them in a warm way they should smile .. neither responded. My experience there was cold other than the young gentleman on the photo desk

We went to Staples prior to a local Home Show. I had designed our logo and advertising brochure, however the work still required assistance in transferring it into a format to be printed. Both staff memebers went above & beyond helping us under short timeline. I would highly recommend any business get advertising/marketing product and supplies from Belleville Staples & Printing.
Customer service here sucks! On the phone for over 30 minutes trying to get a person on the line, trying various departments, absolutely no answer. Guess that’s why everyone is moving to ordering online. Good work Staples employees, you’ll be out of a job soon.

I was walking aimlessly to kill time while my wife was shopping and was surprised that not one staff member, of the four I walked passed, never asked to give me assistance. At most staples the staff are a little more personable. Other than that the store is clean and well kept.

Jaylen I believe his name is from the Niagara Falls location. I had a problem with my wifi connection not reaching my PS4 in my bedroom since the router is located on the floor below me. Jaylen then suggested a buying a power link, and since then it has solved ALL my connection problems. Playing online on my PS4 now is smooth and incredible. Thank YOU Jaylen! I would have never of known that a power link, something I’ve never heard of, could fix all the problems. Thank you!

Depends on the sales rep: some know their store, while others are unable to differentiate between book end and bouquet. Same with the computer services. What makes it worse is their electronic insurance policy which requires you to have the receipt or register it online. There is a nearby electronic store where they keep those details in their own system.
I just left the store of searching for over 20 minutes for a product, to find two employees playing games on laptops looking dumbfounded. Total shame Staples has come to incompetent employees.
I came to pick up an order that was placed online. The gentleman would not give me the order because it was in my bosses name. (I get it). I offered to log into her email to show the receipt and/ or even call her so I could leave with the order - this was not sufficient (maybe he was having a bad day and refused to help). I told my boss she has to come get it. She had to arrange her appointments to pick it up. Now, what upsets me is not the fact that these are the rules when picking up items purchased online, what really upsets me was that when she went to pick up the order, you guys didn't asked her for ID, you just handed her the order. She mentioned i came by and you wouldn't give it to me, and STILL you didn't even confirm it was her. So, you didn't only waste my time - you wasted hers. If these are the rules, then be consistent, or at least try to help!

Seems like everytime I go the the store on robie st in truro they either don't have what I need in stock or they do and tell me they don't 1 time I went there bought something that was on display no problem the next time I went they didn't have what I wanted in stock only had the display I asked to buy it and they guy told me they never sell display models and whoever sold it to me should have got in trouble waited a few days checked back still no stock only display model and on this day they said it was in stock so I drove all the way there about 20 min drive to find out that it was just the display model showing went home waited a few more days checked back this time i was able to talk to an actual manager she was very nice and helped me anyway she could if it wasnt for her this rating would be 1 star she ended up getting my the item I wanted by the end of that day another time I called them for ram a small item should be in stock at a place like that nope nothing and not sure when they will be getting any then today I call and they have a section called office furniture well the lady I talked to said they do not sell any kind of office furniture besides chairs I mean I was looking for a desk something that walmart and most other stores carry but I figured staples should have a good quality one I could buy nope let me down again I do not recommend shopping at least in the one in truro I'm not sure of other locations what their stock is like but truro does not seem to ever have anything that I'm looking for and it's not crazy things I'm looking to buy gpu 2060 or above nope computer desk nope gaming monitors they have a few but most of the time nope ram nope decent gaming keyboard not really all in all very disappointed and I don't think I'm even going to try and buy anything from there again

Wanted to call in first to make sure my document was ready. No one answers at the extension they provide. That's fine, you should be used to it considering your parents never pick up your calls either. Same day pick-up is advertised as "You can pick it up after 12 until closing as long as you order in the morning." Of course, this is nothing you can't handle, especially with all the lies you had to deal with from your ex. Very respectful employees. Overall Great Experience. Would definitely have my documents printed here again if I don't find somewhere else. This is not reflective of how they operate under normal circumstances. I'm sure they provided better service pre-pandemic and will get back to that level of service post-pandemic.

The employee who helped my son and I was very friendly and knowledgeable, saving us a lot of time searching for what we needed. The store is clean and well laid out, and prices are fair. Overall I prefer this to most other electronics stores.
I went to Staples in Welland to purchase a new computer as mine was no longer functioning properly. I was met by Moe (last name unknown) who went over my situation carefully and gave me the option of upgrading my current computer at much less cost that would be involved in the purchase of a new computer. He explained what he could do in a manner that ensured that I understood and it made sense to me to choose the upgrade. When I went to pick up my computer, Moe carefully, confidently and clearly explained everything he had done which prepared me for the changes I would see. Upon reconnecting my computer, I was able to manage the changes and work with them quickly and competently due to Moe's explanation. Moe was personable, friendly and quick to provide answers to all my questions. He even carried my computer to my car when I went to pick it up. Moe is an outstanding employee and works extremely well with those he serves. He made the experience a pleasure.
In knowledge I'd give them 5 stars! In pressure to purchase id give them 2 in pricing I would give them a 3.5 rating! I'll give them a four because they actually have live people there that usually know what they are talking about!

Terrible computer tech support, rude because I wanted to read contract before I signed. I insisted on reading before I signed then he tried to push dishonest demands for money because he was upset I wanted to read contract before I signed it. Contract was VERY different from what he verbally stated the computer services were. Total waste of time, rude and dishonest. About a week before that I ordered business cards to be printed. plain black and white. I picked them up and all the cards were bent and curled. I pointed out my cards were bent & curled, the lady at the print center gave me a dirty look and just walked away?! Staples in Cornwall is one of the worse places to do business with.

People who work there are friendly and helpful the prices are usually 100 more on PC's and components shop around first.

A couple of weeks ago I was looking to pick up a new laptop on behalf of my father in law. We browsed the staples website and found the one he wanted, contacted the store and spoke with Kiki. I asked if they would hold onto one until I drove to the store and was told that was no problem. Upon my arrival, Kiki served me at the checkout and remembered me by name from our phone conversation. A+ job! Was very happy with the customer service I received!
Created a same day order for a Calendar, called the store as the website wasn't clear, expecting delays in service. Greeted by polite friendly employee, looked up my order and gave me information. Received my item on time (shocking during the holiday season) and it was gorgeous! Couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

chronic lack of customer service at the NF store. I am in NF and been trying to contact them by phone for the past couple hours. Phone rings, then if you are lucky it will allow you to leave a message. Otherwise it simply says"your call is important to us.. Goodbye" and hangs up!!?? So I called the St. Catherines store and was promptly connected to someone. Unfortunately they didn't have the item, but checked and found that NF MAY have the item. They suggested calling NF to confirm its actually in stock. So I did again.. Same circus as earlier at the NF store. Frustrating.

The girl that waited on me went way beyond of what I would ever expect to find what I was looking for and get it shipped to the store. I would go here in a heartbeat with Service like that. I went to buy head phones and could not look at the product. Empty boxes on display. I was told they could not sell the product if they open it. I had to take it home and open it and if I did not like them bring them back. Frustrating shopping.
Had to come to this N/Falls Staples store, because the St. Catharines store had no stock of Epson printers. Very nice staff, especially Jaylin who took care of my purchase, very informative, friendly and great service. I bought an Epson Super Tank printer and am very happy after trying to find one in stock for months! Good stores start with good staff. I recommend this store.

My computer unexpectedly died making the prospect of working from home the next day impossible. I did a quick spot of research online for what computer options they had in store and then whipped over and took a look. (this was the might before the 3rd lock-down). The young man who helped me showed me the options I had seen online, plus one that I hadn't. That one turned out to be a great deal so I got that one and was out of there within 15-20 minutes. Computer works great and I was super happy with the service and product knowledge.

I was just in the Chatham store with my son. He is 20 and has autism. He was looking for flash drives and we were approached by Nicholas. He was very helpful and told us which he would recommend. My son has autism but was very talkative today. It wasn't all about the flash drives and would seem random to most people because they wouldn't see the connection in his mind. Nicholas was super. He listened to Adam and conversed with us both with an easy, comfortable style. Those 5 minutes he spent talking to my son ( who doesn't get a lot of chances to see or talk to people near his age these days ) made a great impression on both of us and my son declared the visit a success. We will be returning soon to look for laptops and we will definitely be looking for Nicholas to help us!

Stopped in on my way to tremblant to print something off and the girl at the print centre not only lied to me about the policy of what I was printing but made the process so difficult with no assistance that we just left. Customer service skills not great! I ordered an item 3 weeks prior to Christmas and prepaid for it. I was told at the time that it should be in before Christmas. I understand they are not in full control of these things but I went in last night to check to see about it, as I haven't heard anything and a manger happened to be standing there when I asked the cashier. The manager looked at me and said we haven't seen them yet and I mentioned I was told I would have it for Christmas and she just looks at me and say "well, it isn't Christmas yet". She wouldn't make the effort at all to look to see if there is an ETA or anything. Very disappointed!

The worst electronics retail experience I’ve ever had. Find somewhere else to buy your electronics. TL:DR - pushy associates who don’t know the products they sell, don’t know their own store policies, are dismissive towards customers, and are just trying to make a sale. And a store that is ridiculously inflexible with COVID. —— On June 17, I purchased an iPad Pro from this store. The associate told us it was the most up-to-date model, and assured us it would have no issue meeting all of our needs. Next, when checking out, he realized there was a discount, and was even more eager for us to buy. While checking out, I decided to look up the model, and turns out it was an old model - hence the sale price. The associate was surprised to realize it was an old model, dismissed our concerns about reasons to get the newer model, and repeatedly assured us there was a negligible difference between this model and the newest. He then told us that, even if it didn’t meet our needs, we had 30 days to return. We also told him we would be leaving the province for a weekend and thus need to self-isolate for 14 days upon return, but he said no worries - 30 days to return. After taking the iPad home, we realized the specs don’t even come close to the newer model, and didn’t meet our needs. Today, 18 days after purchase, I tried to return the unused iPad. The store told us we had passed the 14-day return window and so could not return the device. When I explained the situation, including our 14-day isolation period, the manager simply said there’s nothing else they can do. Looking on the staples.ca website, there is also mention of an extended return policy in light of the pandemic. Not at Staples Kelsey Drive. Clearly, the associate didn’t know the product he was trying to sell us, realized it was old stock and then wanted it gone even more, then told us incorrect information about the return policy. He just wanted a sale, irrespective of the customer. Then, the store refused to take back the device, even though they knew we had been told we had 30 days to return, knew we had been isolating for 14 days, and it was only 4 days past the return deadline. I’ve encountered incompetent associates before, but never a situation where their incompetence and audacity lead to me losing money. I’ve also encountered inflexible businesses before, but 18 days instead of 14, in the setting of a pandemic and poor customer experience? Come on. My advice: stay away from Staples Kelsey Drive for any electronics purchases.
Due to the pandemic and many business being closed for in store shopping, we couldn't get a credit for an item since December. I totally understand and wasn't to worried about it but I thought I would call today to see if it was ok to come in at this time. I was informed by Ronda that they are still closed for in store transactions based on the Ontario rules. So I thought I would just follow up in a couple of weeks. Instead of hanging up and continuing with her day, Ronda told me she will look into it and get back to me. She ended up doing the transaction over the phone since its been outstanding since December. I've worked in graphic design and print for over 10 years now. I decided to get Staples to print a photo for me as I didn't have access to a printer at the time (due to Covid). I first got the staff to print the photo for me (in house at my local store) to which the colours came washed out and the blacks crushed. I then tried to contact them about this with. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I sent another inquiry. While still waiting for an answer on both inquiries, I then proceeded to use the professional print team instead (where they will print the document and then ship it to your local store vs the local store printing themselves) to see if this would be an improvement. It was, but only VERY minimally and was still unsatisfactory. I then contacted Staples again to notify them what is happening (as it should not be doing this as the document was properly adjusted correctly on my graphic design monitor) and is not reflecting as it should, and again haven't heard anything back. I am getting ticket requests #'s and know my inquiries are going through because I get emails saying "The support team will review and respond to your email as quickly as possible. We're usually able to respond within 24 hours"... It is now 5 months later, I have still yet to get a reply! They keeping sending me "How would you rate the support you were given" emails and yet no one has bothered to even answer any of my emails. They blame Covid for being delayed, but it shouldn't take close to half a year to even acknowledge an inquiry (which I still haven't gotten). I think they even closed the ticket/inquiry case because it's been so long the system thinks it's resolved and yet it's not.
Would like to say that you have one of the best employees working there. His name is Taylor and every time we go there we are fortunate that he is working His knowledge is beyond and he is always polite and very helpful. regards debbie and randy

The technology sales team lack the required expertise. They seem to be just sales people who happen to sell electronics without in-depth knowledge. Customer service was unpleasant and even semi confrontational. They should invest some time in developing their in store customer experience or else they are going to lose to online shopping.

Went in to discuss business card templates at the print centre today, and was met by a very rude employee. Without even hearing / understanding my issue, she immediately began insisting that she couldn't help me. I did my best to remain polite - I can understand that customer service isn't always knowledgeable, it happens. I do however expect to be treated respectfully, not made to feel little for making simple inquiries.. which the employee couldn't even answer. Horrible customer service, very frustrating experience, and not the first time I've been left hanging at the Niagara Falls branch.
Computers and related products are a little pricey, store is not what l would call inviting feels more like a warehouse setting. Staff has a robotic feeling and presentation.

So I bought a phone sales guy seemed to know his stuff....one week later setting it up getting used to it it would only notify once for a text....if you missed it .tough luck till you touch the phone....not good for me.and the sound was not as loud as the old whistle that could be heard nicely.we tried all kinds of settings and I finally gave in called and they said that's how they all work.thats it once.Ok so I ask when the salesman is in that we had and off I go to see him as he sold me the dam thing.he can't even find the settings that we found says that's how they all work. Maybe I could go to bell they might know something they don't. By now I was very distressed and upset exasperated losing it in tears cause I'm just so fed up and I see across the front of the store one of the ones that said that's how they work finding this quite funny. You know that's just so wrong.its so disrespectful. I left sat in my car and calmed down.then I went to bell.the young lady was great she said of course it will work and got onto it and set a couple things tried it then set something else and she had it working 5 minutes....she was nice didn't make me feel stupid or laugh at me.she also put the whistle onto the text that I was used to.she saved my day.and I would have hated this phone forever the way it was working.perhaps staples should get some lessons from them on how to work the phones they sell and how to treat people. I went back after I went for groceries.i waited so I would be settled down and told the salesman they fixed it so the tech guy's should be learning something. He apologized and gave me a card for free computer check up....hmmmm I don't think I would use this after today .i am very disappointed with them.

I went to staples for a issue with my new PC I just purchased and had no idea what the issue was with it.. The staff at staples helped assist me with the issue at hand, My old monitor only supported VGA and I was quiet confused as to weather I needed an adaptor or new monitor, they not only clarified what I needed, they went and retrieved the parts for me in my required budget....Excellent. Will return in the future if I need electronics.

I took some confidential information papers to be shredded. My impression of "shredding" is that the papers go through a shredded while you are there. This apparently is not the case. They go into a locked bin and await a shredding company to come and supposedly do it in their truck. I think this is false testimony. In light of the fact that confidential papers have, in the past, been reported in television news stories of being found flying around the streets in the wind. If I had of known this before they started to put my papers in the locked bin I would have kept my papers (until the spring) and had a bonfire to burn these sensitive papers. DO NOT GET YOUR CONFIDENTIAL PAPERS SHREDDED HERE.

I have never bought a stapler from here so I cannot in good conscience recommend their staplers. Good thing they sell other stuff or there would be no reason to shop here. Service is hit or miss. When you want help there is never anyone around, and when you want to be left alone they hover over you. That's when a stapler comes in handy. You just tack them to a wall and go about you merry way.
I recently purchased a Dell laptop at Staples in Sydney. The rep who assisted me was Ashif A. This was the most stress free experience I have ever had when purchasing technology. Ashif was very patient & pleasant . He listened to what I said & did not try to tell me what I wanted. Instead he tried his best to help me find the product that would meet my need. He was very careful to make sure every detail was taken care of. Even when I purchased a sleeve for my laptop, Ashif took the laptop out of the box again & put it into the sleeve to make sure it did fit & put the laptop back in the box again. He was knowledgeable but did not in any way make me feel uncomfortable with my limited knowledge. He was the kind of helper that I always hoped I could find when making a major purchase. I tried to order the item I wanted online but had trouble. At this point I would prefer to go pick it up at store instead. However from prior experience I know the number that it shows online, and the number of products on hand in the store don't always match. I was simply trying to call to confirm if they have what I want in the store before I make the drive. I tried calling 8 times and they won't answer the phone. It seems this has been a trend with this store for over a year now. What kind of business is this, and how does an issue go on for over a year without being rectified? I think it's time for the higher ups to have a talk with the management and employees of this store, just ridiculous.

Bought headphones and less than a month they broke, wanted to exchange for another pair but they said no as I don't have the original package. They could not resell these as the cord was broken. Bought these for a child that has a disability and now I have lost fifty six dollars and no headphones for this child. I am a senior and can not afford to buy another pair. Will never shop here again.
With all the technology at our finger tips you would think that Staples would provide iPads to there staff to better supporting their clients or grenal public. Instead of running back to the stock room to see if they have the product/s available for their clients instead of running after clients when he/she comes back from the storage area. With an iPad they can scan the product code too see if it is available to him/her. Better time management better serving their clients.

Staples is Staples so nothing there to warrant 5 stars but the gal who runs the copy department is stellar. Knows how to get stuff done right the first time and very customer focused. You can get a pen or regular photocopy done anywhere but if it is outside the norm, come to this store.
We just left the store after not getting served... or greeted or anything. Finally got tired of waiting so we took our business to another computer store. I was waiting with the group of other elderly ladies all waiting to be helped...

Apparently the extended warranty sold by the store only comes into effect after one year. Find out how easy it is to communicate with a manufacturer. If I wanted to fight with an "800" number I would have ordered on line. Don't pay for the "extended" warranty, there is no support from the store.

The printing department in this store is terrible, I went in wanting to print a document that I uploaded to their website, because last time I used a USB stick to transfer files they charged me money and I didn't want to pay extra. I go in and ask the lady working there if can pay for the print job at the register and she said yes once I send the print job through. So then I ask if it went through and the lady said yes and didn't add anything afterwards. (I also received and email confirmation that my order was received) She only said that it will take about half an hour for her to get it and for it to print. Which is ridiculous considering the file has been uploaded and I had access to it on their computer. Two of my friends and I were chatting in front of the printing area and the lady didn't bring a receipt or didn't ask me how or where I wanted to print, instead she kept working on her own thing. So my friends and I go to check out items that we were buying from other departments and we stood in line for about 10 minutes at the cash register and still the lady from the printing department didn't come in to bill me or anything. So my friends and I didn't make much of it and thought we could come back once the print job was over (again the lady had about 10+ minutes to tell us we still need to pay). So we left staples and went to have a coffee and came back after the half hour mark, only to find that the job was not printed and the lady told me that I still had to pay. So I told her that she didn't specify when we had to pay and that we were in the store so she could have easily called us. So she said she did tell us (which neither me nor my two friends recall all we recall is her saying I could pay at the cash register). And then after I said OK I'll pay, she told me I had to wait another half an hour which I couldn't really do because I didn't have a ride. So I told her to just cancel the job, and she didn't even care. She didn't even put in minimal effort to help me get my job done and didn't give me the information necessary to complete the print job. I wanted to print something for my friend for her birthday and it was supposed to be special, now I'm gonna give her the gift late a couple of days because : 1. I don't want to print anything at staples anymore because this is the second time they screw me over. 2. Tomorrow is a holiday and everything is closed. 3. By the time I got home other printing places were closed. I am very displeased with the service their and definitely won't be using staples anymore PS. The rest of the staff there were very friendly and were very helpful when we needed assistance
was notified that my order was ready for curbside pickup. I called when I got there and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back and they brought my order right out.
This is the ONLY store in the entire area with 9am hours. St. Caths' 8am, Welland 8am, etc., etc., etc. That in itself should tell you how "useful" lol the staff are. Yes, yes, I get they are with other stores. Welland is located right beside the Seaway which ironically has an opening time of 10am. However, obviously the "brilliant" staff don't seem to realize that they are the only copy place in the area. Though the staff are at best useless, and you'd have better luck looking for something yourself than asking them, there are people in the town that do indeed work and may require use of a staples - such as for printing, etc. - before 9am.
Absolutely horrible experience. Copy staff member was so rude and unprofessional when I enquired about why the copier was so slow. I travel for work and I have been at many staples across the province. I don’t think I will ever go back to the staples in Welland due to the way I was treated by that staff member who has 20 years experience in the copy industry!

I am told by 2 members of the staff that no employees - other than copy center personnel - at the Truro Nova Scotia Staples have the “training” to assist me in navigating the self service copy machines - not even the “head manager, Deb”. If self serve copiers require employee training - why are they called self serve? I certainly was not able to figure out how to use the copiers. And how does one become the general manager of a Staples location without this “training” on the self serve machines? But the UPS store was very happy to help me with the needed copies. I certainly hope the Staples corporate office thinks more of our company’s patronage.
Walked in and picked what I was looking for off the shelf. Went through check out a couple minutes later. No waiting.

Personally I find it funny how people say horrible customer service when no one seems to understand that if workers are with other customers that they will be with you shortly but there is an order. I think these bad reviewers are just impatient people thinking they deserve everything to be their way and that when they want it they get it.

Majority of the staff are unpleasant. The one decent employee (Ahmad iirc) said they would be able to switch SIM cards no problem. When I returned the next day to do it, the staff member whined that they wouldn't be able to do it on a busy evening (it was 530pm, the store was empty, and it only took him a whole 20 seconds to exchange the SIM when I asked again)

Great office supplies
Over the past two weeks I have been in the Belleville Staples store several times. Staff have been excellent and knowledgeable. No hesitation to continue shopping here. In particular, Taylor in tech support and Kyle in print shop were extremely helpful and courteous.

I've never been steered wrong by this store. They have Purolator on site as well. I also find this location to be the fastest service out of the ones I've been to.

Hilary, Alex and a bunch of others helped me print 75 photos, we tried it on 4 different devices, a cellphone, 2 of yheir pc, my laptop. 3 hours later, success. They even offered to dock the fujifilm 39 cent one to 14 cent if all failed...
Received help printing some important documents from my email as the selfserve printing was not workng . as the internet in that area was not working. .Friendly and personable service and charged only the price of self serve .Thank you to the worker there for the great service .

Super fast, friendly, professional and they made it so easy for me to get the job done! Great prices too. The thing is I am the worst at this kind of thing...the woman who guided me made it easy to understand. Also a great ambasssdor to Staples offering impressive information about other services like banners hats etc for your business or organization's needs!

You will find what you need here for sure, but as the times are changing these stores are becoming less frequented, since you can typically find what you need at big box stores, or online. Still a great store though, and even though its been years since I've been in school, the smell still takes me back.. not sure if that's a good thing though lol Only gave 4 stars as the prices in Staples (all Staples not just this one) are quite over priced - and the section for computers or computer accessories is weak.

Purchased a new Acer laptop. Andrew helped me decide which one I should purchase and was very knowledgeable about different software purchases and getting everything set up to have all my data transferred from my old laptop to my new one. Very helpful and courteous. Would certainly recommend him for any computer business you need to discuss.

These folks really need to get their inventory in order. Three times this month, I've looked online to see a product is in stock (always showing 4+), gone into the store and seen multiple placards on the shelving, only to go up to to the register to be told that it's not in stock.

Worst shopping experience ever! Went there to purchase labels. No customers in the store just a group of employees hanging out at the front. I was approached by the manager and told I need to wear a mask. I am exempt, I said. He continued to follow me around the store. When I asked him to stop, he said to just get what I needed and to get out! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Luckily I can get anything I need online and will never again spend my money at this or any other staples location!
I had a problem with one of the printers and asked for assistance and they came over and solved the problem and fixed it as I only wanted one photo copy and all ends well.

I bought a printer online that was on sale, only available in store. It said 48 hour pickup, which I assumed was it would be ready for pickup within 48 hours. When talking with Jonathon in store I told him when I would pick it up (Dec 18). He did not inform me it would be cycled back to the sales floor after 48 hours. Fortunately, I called today, and after about 15 minutes of phone cylcling, got a hold of a technology person, Pim. He told me the bad news that the printer had been put back out on the sales floor, and was no longer on sale. He told me that I could no longer have the printer that I paid for, but could buy the same one for full price now! I asked to speak to the manager, Jenn, and she confirmed this and was unwilling to sell me the printer for the price I had bought it for online, though she says the price was not likely charged to my card, until I would pick it up. Jenn indicated that purchasing that way was the same as putting a product on hold for 48 hours, not actually purchasing it. Funny, how I went through the full purchase online of this product. What can I say. Should this be happening?
