One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a store in a long time. We arrived 30 mins before close and were told that the couldn’t see us because it was too close to closing time. We were told we were only allowed to try 6 pairs, which is ridiculous. My 4 year old was then told not to lower his mask so we could see what the glasses looked like on his face (not one other person in the store and the employee was across the store from us). Nothing was polite or pleasant about any of the interactions.

I had an amazing experience picking new glasses from this location. I was helped by Wendy, and Luis. As soon as I came in the door, Wendy was very helpful, and made me laugh. Every pair of frames I tried on, both Wendy and Luis were very helpful. Luis helped me stay within my (insurance) budget when checking me out, and I picked a funky new frame. I am currently waiting on my new frames to be ready, and can’t wait to pick them up! Thank you again to both of you for a great first experience in your location. ????

I wish I read the reviews before going to this place. I came to them a week and a half ago to purchase contact lenses. They made an appointment for fitting, and after walking with the new trials that they suggested for me try, my vision was good but they didn't feel right, but anyone who uses contacts knows that if you switch to different ones it takes more than 30 mins to get used to them. Anyway, I purchased an amount for three months, but after the first week they still didn't feel right, so I thought I damaged them because my eyes were so itchy during that week:; so I opened the new boxes. After three days nothing changed and I checked the boxes , when I saw that the diameter is bigger than what I usually wear, I went to the store, and asked what should I do , the store's response was that I have to buy new ones . Since I actually can't spend a 150 every week, now I'm stuck with these contacts. I would never ever go back to this store. Not to mention that I had similar experience with a different store but with glasses and they changed them on the spot .

Bought a pair of Burberry glasses from Pearl Vision a couple years ago and a part fell off and I repurchased directly from the manufacturer at half the cost, pearl vision refused to switch the lenses out and their competitor did it for free. Yay Lens crafters, you've got all my future purchases!

We went to Pearl Vision on July 4, 2018. Ordered our glasses and was told after sale was complete that it would take 2 weeks to receive the glasses. We finally got the call to pick up my husband's glasses 3 weeks after the original order (we were told that one of his glasses were scratched and had to be sent back, which was the reason for the delay). It is now 21 days and I still do not have my glasses. Each time I have called since July 17th (2 weeks after order) that one pair of my glasses has been shipped and the second order has not been shipped so they must be on back order. I asked if they could call the lab to see what the issue was, but they just emphasized that it is not uncommon for the lab to be backlogged on lenses. My glasses are simple reading glasses. Although the staff were very nice, We would not recommend Pearle Vision.

I rarely splurge for overpriced designer brands alas I figured since I wear my glasses daily, why not.. I assumed with the amount of money I spent on a pair of both Coach and Dolce and Gabbana glasses I would get at the very least subpar customer service.. oh where assumptions get us .. my glasses have never fit properly, despite going there multiple times the first few months I purchased my glasses. Though the majority of the staff are incompetent and rude there is one nice, helpful employee there alas clearly the rest of the locals are aware because after the day she sold me my glasses was the last time I could get her attention for a mere moment , no matter how many times I went to the mall and popped in she is always busy with a line .. so I went to the mall multiple times and had multiple employees "fix" my glasses.. they don't even take the time to check and see if they actually fit my face after going to the back and doing something I might has well done at home as I paid for the warranty on my frames and lenses. This happened to me not once or twice but three times. The fourth time, I am very anxious and explain to the man, I assume is the owner "my face must be crooked because keep coming back" in a humorous fashion. He for the first time checks if the glasses fit after he adjusts them, they do not. I keep trying to make light of the situation and remind him it's my face as he makes multiple adjustments that are just making things worst until he became frustrated while raising his voice telling me my face is crooked. Thank you for rudely presenting me with the information I lead our interaction with... I tried not to have a panic attack while telling him his fine and running of with my glasses.. that have since the day I bought them been crooked. I avoid this store to the point I have a broken pair of Coach glasses I have barely worn that have never fit that I paid hundreds of dollars for the warranty on.. I'd rather deal with the loss of my hard earned money than go back, sadly.

Just called Pearl Vision to see if they carried a certain size of glass frames I need which is a large round. I received the "well, can only suggest you come in and see what we have." Okay, am a disabled senior, in my 70's. The person was so very snotty and not at all helpful. I cannot believe this store does not know its stock and couldn't tell me what size of frames they carry. Very poor customer service whomever it was that answered the phone. I would not recommend this company for any seniors or disabled people in need of info before they go out to buy.

Emily took great care of my order. She told me two weeks for delivery and I received a call in a week and a half that my lenses were ready. The staff follows all COVID protocol and are very friendly. Will be returning for all of my glasses needs.

so friendly and helpful and we had an issue with my wife's very expensive pair of burberry frames, kept coming loose and slipping off her face, and she had to get whole new frames, and lenses redone. They were excellent with her, very fast, hardly had to wait even a week to get the new frames, and they insisted that if ever she needed help with the new ones, do not hesitate to call and they would make an appointment for her to come in right away. Anytime she ever has had any issue, she would just call and they would usually fit her in that day or the next. We both would highly recommend their whole staff; they have been a delight and a relief to our issues occuring with our ongoing eyesight changes, especially due to a recent concussion my wife experienced. They were able to offer her two pairs, one for daily use for distance and working in the airfield as she is a Flight Dispatcher. And the second pair are strictly for office work, with special blue light diffusing lenses, tinting for her eyes due to the large windows she sits at for Dispatching. Not to mention, they have always treated me like gold, as I need new glasses almost every two years now, and as an Artist and Musician, I always want the highest quality Cool frames, and they never dissapoint me with their range of excellent frame choices..........Thank you so very much for everything.

I've been a customer at this location for a few years... I have a super strong prescription and am very self-conscious about how thick my lenses look... from the very first time i entered the store, the store's optician LAURA took exceptional care of me... we probably tried 50 pairs of frames on and she gave me her honest and professional opinion on how my Rx would look in each frame... when i got my last pair of glasses, i was not ashamed to wear them in public!! i give all the credit to laura and the VERY friendly staff at the store... whether it's buying lens cleaner or like today when i went it to have my frames tightened, the experience is always positive... i like going to the eye care store now!!! who would have thought!

I went To Pearle vision to order a pair of glasses, 10 days later they came in and I felt as though I was looking through beer goggles. Nothing was clear and I felt dizzy. they sent them away again and 5 days later they come back and I felt that nothing had changed. The lady working there trying to convince me that I just had to get used to them and that my eyes would be different in the afternoon and I need to wear them in the morning so I needed to take them home and put them on in the morning and I would notice a difference. She also proceeded to tell me that my prescription would change based on what I eat that day and that it is not an exact science. I was made to feel like I was the one that was wrong when I have wore glasses my entire life and know what they are supposed to feel like when I put them on. So I gave it one more shot had them send away again, had to get a recheck on the prescription in case that was wrong-which was another two two-hour trips to Belleville. In the end over a month later, over 10 hours of driving later, the glasses were terrible and I had to get a refund. I am very unhappy with the quality of their lenses i will never buy glasses through them again

I’ve had so many issues with my eyes and for the first time I felt like I was really being listened to. I need glasses for reading and have a slight perscription for distance given that I had laser eye surgery a couple years ago. I was interested in purchasing regular reading glasses which would have cost just over $150 but was upsold to over $700 for a progressive lense, protection, etc for the same frames. I was extremely hesitant with the upsell given the difference in price was over $490 just for the progressive lense alone, but I was told "If you don't like them, or can't get used to them, bring them back and we'll exchange them. You have nothing to lose by trying them." They don't tell you that after you bring them back and exchange for the ordinary $150 pair of lenses THEY STILL KEEP THE ADDITIONAL $490! You DO lose! It cost over $490 just to TRY the glasses! BEWARE of their SCAM! Really unprofessional and should be ashamed of yourselves.

I went into this location tonight to be fitted for contact lenses. 2 girls were working, the first girl asked if I had ever been in the store before and I told her I was fitted years and years ago and gave her my maiden last name to find my record. (Probably 10 years ago) She pulled my record out of a drawer and went into the back room where another lady looked at it (I believe her name is Andrea) and then they both came back out. Andrea said that she was going on her 15 min break (7pm) and asked me to come back in 30 min and she'd see what she could do. I kindly told her that wasn't a problem. She then went on to tell me that I wasn't actually a customer of Pearle Vision because I'd never actually paid for contacts in the past. I told her she was correct, that none of the contact they'd fitted me for ever felt right in my eye, but that I wear Dailies now and have no issues..I just have a new prescription and I'm sure there are newer and better options now as opposed to 10 years ago. She then proceeded to tell me that I was the first person she'd ever seen that wasn't a candidate for contact lenses but to come back in 30 min and she'd see what she could do! She was extremely rude and anything but helpful. I walked past the store a few minutes later and she was sitting with another customer and not on break. I guess the $700 I just spent on my daughter's glasses a couple months ago don't make me a customer. You can bet your butt I won't be a customer in the future.
