Would not recommend. Lenses are made cheap and don't last. Easily scratched lenses, no free replacements. When cleaning the lenses they tend to leave scratches all the time. I've never had this issue when getting new lenses at Lenscrafters.
Brilliant customer service. The frames I got were perfect, but, the coating on them was peeling away. New Look replaced them to see if there was a defect. The problem remained, so they replaced them again with a coating meant to protect the frame from the oil in my skin. When the lenses were being installed there was some scratching on the frame so they placed a third order. Honestly, I'll never buy glasses anywhere else.
I went in for an adjustment for glasses I bought elsewhere. I was greeted by a smiling redheaded receptionist (sorry I didn't get anyone's name!), Who sat me down. Within 30 seconds, someone (with long black hair and a green shirt), came over and adjusted my glasses, even tho everyone was busy with other customers. I was very happy that I was in and out within 2 minutes, and this was an excellent customer experience.
I purchased glasses here a few weeks ago, somehow they said they had the wrong phone number on file as it was out of service when they called and they claimed to have emailed me that they were ready (but I can guarantee I did not receive an email). I purchased glasses from a newlook downtown a few years ago and my information hasn't changed since and that time around they had no trouble contacting me. They indeed somehow had the wrong number (but I'm not sure how as we went over it before I left last time). It's small things like this (a un-attention to detail) that would make me look elsewhere next time.
AVOID AT ALL COST My eye test was rushed and that gave me a bad prescription in the end I had to spend $159 going to LensCrafters to get a new eye test avoid this place. The female I doctor was rude and terrible. I have to give this 5 stars else google will hide this honest review.
Wow I cannot get over the unprofessionalism of this location. First they were unable to find my file after standing around dumbfounded for 20 minutes. The idea that I had my maiden name changed was too much to grasp. I requested contacts to be ordered, what the price would be and the time for delivery as I travel a lot and would be out of town. After requesting a quote and asking 8 diferent ways they would NOT tell me how much my order could be. They then placed an order for trail contacts informing me that they would take 3-5 business days. It has been 7 and when I called for a status update they receptionist let me know she could not help me as the contact lense person was busy. Took my name and number and then didn't call me back for 2 and a half hours. Must have been pretty busy then... Once on the phone call, the contact lense person could ot find my file despite me being in store a week ago. She STILL could not provide me with an accurate time line for when my trials would be in. Forget even trying to order the actual contacts I need in time. Absolute GARBAGE service and I promptly took my service elsewhere. In a 10 minute phone call, I managed to order what I need and it will be here in 3 days. How hard is that?
One of the best eyewear stores in the city! Equipped with the best selection of glasses and highly experienced staff! Kaylee and Jessica have both been super helpful when I went in to order my glasses! Highly recommended for unbeatable prices and quality.

Excellent customer service. I brought my prescription from my local optometrist. Staff skilfully helped me choose the right frames for both regular glasses and sunglasses; then spent a lot of time making sure the demarcations for my progressive lenses were accurate. When I went to pick up the glasses, staff again took time to make sure they fit properly. I'm very pleased.

The Bayshore location staff a very disrespectful and rude. The bayshore location called me on 2 occasions and both times I returned the call. The manager stated that no one called me. I asked him to check with his staff and he refused. I would never deal with a business like this! The manager lacks professionalism.
We have been dealing with New Look since 2006. We were and are still happy with the service. Last week we received the new glasses for my daughter and we noticed a crack in the frame besides being deformed which causes them to easily fall when she looks down. Two days ago, we took the glasses back for a solution. We were so impressed and happy with the service of Stephanie Nassif who gladly changed the frame for us and took the time to skillfully and carefully adjust the lenses to fit in the frame because someone somewhere did not do her/his job well and that's what caused the frame to crack and become deformed . My intention of this review is to highlight the exceptional service and care Stephanie provided us and I wanted to share our experience with people and the head office.

Don’t recommend. Complete waste of time. Paid $90 for eye exam and prescription is wrong. Demanded a refund for the glasses I purchased with the perscription. Maria explained to me that there was nothing they could do. I booked an appointment for him to recheck the perscription. They called me the day of my appointment to cancel. So now I’m sitting here with glasses I cannot out of. An optometrist who is conveniently not showing up for his appointments. And I’m out $90 for the exam and another $200 for glasses. Beware. He also works out of the train yard location.
Went in w/o appointment as husband's glasses needed fixing. They helped us out on the spot even though he didn't buy them there. Really nice and helpful staff.

We purchased my sons first pair of glasses at Newlook Bayshore in September and we had the BEST experience. The Optician, Kaylee McAlpine, was friendly and helpful and made sure that we were able to get them before closing knowing that it was a sensitive day for our guy. Since then I have had to go back to have them adjusted because of a mishap at a day camp and most recently from me sitting on them (oops!). Both times Kaylee was so friendly and my son actually enjoys going to the store and most importantly loves his glasses. Very bad experience Very expensive eyeglasses and poor quality when i asked for information about my son exam they kept me waiting for days and weeks claiming that the doctor is busy then he went on leave I don’t recommend this place at all

Waited 6 weeks to receive the glasses the second pair I was supposed to get for free wasn't new like they promised. I found out the company already cashed the check from my insurance company before I actually received my glasses. I Went to them in person to get a refund, they were fine about the refund but was very disappointed in how the company handled my situation overall it was a complete headache to deal with.
The initial customer service was good, but the optometrist was absolutely terrible. I have never met an optometrist so arrogant and condescending. I asked the optometrist to double check my eye exam results and he made me perfectly aware that I was wasting his time. His staff also called me three times in one day asking for me to change the time of the appt that they had previously scheduled. I do not recommend this optometrist and I had a terrible experience. I have never seen a business conduct itself in such an unprofessional manner.
