I bought my current set of glasses in the Guildford location. This store is on my commute home from work so I decided to stop in to have my new glasses adjusted as they were too tight. When I walked into the store I was not greeted right away so I stood around waiting for help. After a few moments I noticed an employee was free so I went over to speak with her but as I did another Asian gentleman walked in, me and him made eye contact and the employee then ignored me and addressed him first. As I was in a rush and was already waiting I found this extremely rude. My only explanation to this situation is that the employee was racist as I am a white woman and she an asain woman. Did she address the asain man first even though I was waiting because of my appearance? Who knows but I will never be back here again, that's for sure. Discrimination is never okay with me, this place should be ashamed of themselves.

I went in with a new RX and needed RX sunglasses.I drive 6-8 hours a day After the 14 days was up I called and they were finally ready. I was excited. When I arrived to pick up my new $500 plus prescription sunglasses I noticed that I was in fact sold the display frames. The one's that everyone and their mother touch day in and day out. They never even bothered to clean sticky glue from where the price tag was, it was still there. Plus the lenses and frames were absolutely covered in greasy fingerprints. I was taken back that they didn't even bother to wipe them down. Especially with the pandemic going on.

I dropped in to get the frames of my glass fixed and I was immediately looked after and glasses fixed for free. PLUS, I was able to see a doctor right away for an eye exam as there was an opening. It was a thorough exam by Dr. Colleen Brown and she made it very relaxing. So happy to get the needed exam done PLUS my glasses repaired in a short amount of time. I highly recommend LensCrafters MapleView Mall in Burlington, Ontario for great service with absolutely no pressure to buy.

I had a free day and decided to see if I could get a new prescription and order new glasses. Thanks to Lencrafter's optometrist and sales associate I was able to do both in only one hour! I wasn't expecting them to be able to get me in so quickly and efficiently, especially with all the new Covid restrictions, but to my surprise the whole process was extremely fast and easy! If you live by Metrotown in Burnaby then this place is a good choice.

A few years ago I dealt wth a sales associate at this store that reminded me of Kim Kardashian. I was with a friend who bought a pair of prescription sunglasses and he specifically asked for the original lens to be included. The rude woman refused to give it to him which was strange as he bought it. We where both flabbergasted at her arrogance. Worst LensCrafters location by far. And pretty lady, you're incredibly ugly inside.

I stepped on my glasses today so went and got my prescription check and walked into the Metrotown store for a new pair of glasses. I was able to take photos and send them to my daughter to get help. Staff were amazing and helped me find whatever I needed. My current glasses are broken (also purchased from you 3yrs ago) & patched together and as I was walking out James (Metrotown store) went the extra mile and offered to look at them so I can be comfortable wearing them since it will be a week or more until I get the new ones. I’m sitting here waiting for them. THIS kind of service is exactly why I have been coming to you for my glasses for years and will continue to do so.

The Dr's office staff are friendly and courteous. The wait for appointments aren't too long 15-25 mins. The doctors are knowledgeable and listen to concerns I have for my childrens' prescriptions. The glasses shop staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They were very patient and provided advice on styles and additions I wanted on the lenses.

Got glasses here and they promised to ship it to a different location as soon as possible. They sent me an email saying they did, but they never did. I went to the other location many times until I realized they failed to ship it, leaving me without glasses for almost an entire month. As a result, I was able to pick it up on the last day of the return period, and by the time I was able to use them that night, I was no longer able to return it, leaving me with glasses I am extremely unsatisfied with

One of the most horrible customer experiences I have ever had in my life! We bought a pair of glasses more than a year ago and returned right away. Company was supposed to return the insurance portion to the insurance company and we found out after a year. After a few calls to the store they accepted that they never refunded the insurance portion. They asked us to wait for a phone call so they can refund it. After a month we called again and the lady (Farnoush) said "it was your fault for not following up" well, we did when we found out. They lady told us in a very aggressive manner if we want our money then come to the store! She then said to contact the CEO to complain! Really really bad, really bad! Costco charges half of what they charge and they actually are respectful and they don't withhold your money until you forget.

I went in with my own frame, asking for bifocals and came out with new frames, progressive lenses and a good feeling. I saved $300 by order a new frame and lenses instead of just lenses. They offer a CAA discount, too. Trish was great help and showed me possibilities and gave suggestions that weren't price based, but made sense to my situation. Can't wait to get my new glasses.

Kind of a strange environment. We walked around for 15 minutes inside checking things out alone without anyone to help us out. After I finally chose a pair of sunglasses (which would cost over $500 after tax), the lady said that they only have the display one to sell. The one everyone and their grandmother played with. She went back to see if they have another one in stock and said that another shop Downtown has it, but that shop also only carries 1 pair to sell - the pair they use for display... which I thought is super weird, expecting your customers to be okay with purchasing a luxury product at full price when it has been on display being played with for who knows how long. Really strange from a shop that carries expensive things.

Bought two pairs of prescription glasses for me and my wife. Fair price for the two pairs but 1) didn't set the prescription right & surprisingly didn't accepted there mistake. I had to go to my optometrist to examine the glasses and then had to comeback to request them to do it right! 2) Overcharged me 83$ by mistake and again had to visit them to do it right! Fall for the first few reviews on maps and ended up making total of 4 visits from Hamilton to Burlington to buy prescription glasses. Not recommend but If you end up there make sure the lady charged you right and if visiting for prescription always ask them to recheck it before leaving the shop.

The lady who interacted with me was okay. I liked her customer service really well. I ended up buying a pair of nice Coach eyeglasses for around $250. However, I'll rate my experience with 2 stars and this is why: I asked if they had another pair wherein the lenses were scratch-free since the one I just bought had tiny scratchmarks and they were driving me crazy. Since they didn't have any in stock, she ended up calling other LensCrafters stores. One of the stores she called had the glasses but she couldn't guarantee that the lenses were scratch-free. I was so confused at this point. So instead of going all the way to Lougheed, I asked them if it's possible to just change the lenses themselves. I thought it would be a reasonable request. I was willing to pay more if necessary. However another lady who interacted with me told me that they couldn't change the lenses because it was a "demo lens" and they couldn't do it. She told me that the best she could do was clean it. But of course, a clean can't get rid of the scratch marks. So I declined and left feeling a bit frustrated that a store called LensCrafters couldn't change the lens of the glasses I just bought from them. I ended up going to the Optical section of Superstore and the manager was really friendly and he helped me with my problem. I had to pay an additional $70 for my new lens but at least now they're scratch-free and just how I like them.

I would give them 0 if I can. I got my glasses in April 2021. Since then, the left lens developed a small crack twice. They did replace the lens twice. But now, just a few weeks later, there are little inscriptions and symbols on both lenses!!! This is unbelievable!

Really bad experience. I had done lenses with proper coating and will other good things, as I work on computer pretty much 10-12 hrs. a day. Almost cost me $600. And these high quality lenses were recommended by LensCrafters employee himself. Also, purchased extended warranty. After almost 11-12 months, I couldn't see properly their glasses, feels like something is stuck on them. Went to LensCrafters today - they said, the coating on lenses is worn off and they couldn't do much, no answer as to why it could happen, their answer was, you must be exposing lenses to steam and hot water, which I don't at all. Their answer on $600 glasses was, can't do much, buy a new one. What a terrible customer service, and terrible quality of product that sell. Thoroughly disappointed and will never go there again. Also, will recommend to stay away from them, there are much better quality and customer service stores around. No more LensCrafters. Really disappointed. Update: Today, I revisited this place - after getting a new prescription - so that at least I can get new lenses in my existing frame. I explained that there was a mistake on my part that I wore the glasses couple of times in Sauna (I did not know that I am not supposed to that (I have been wearing glasses for 23 years) - or nobody at lenscrafters told me to do so - and the response at this time - cough up $405 if you want new lenses. Called 1-800 number - and to my surprise (or no surprise!) - all calls options on the call tells me to go online - not a single person on the other side. I guess this is a classic American Capitalist mentality company - Canadians, stop giving your money to this company - there are tons of reliable and cheaper local options then going to such company. And yeah - staff today was completely unfriendly. Manager says - she is new to location! what a stupid answer - as she has been working with company for couple of years! Stay away from LensCrafter - not just this location - any location!. I will give this location and company a ZERO star if possible!

Sometimes it is a bit headache to find the right frame, but without someone whom could patiently explain the difference might turns the shopping experience into nightmare. I have been shopping with LensCrafters, and I do not recommend this location.

Superb experience from the time I called until my visit and purchase of new glasses and sunglasses. I honestly could not ask for more from a place of business. Knowledgeable, helpful, kind all the staff members helped in what is really a difficult purchase. I lost my previous glasses and was going on vacation shortly. They checked and re-checked that the new glasses could be ready on time. Once assured that they could be I ordered. I honestly cannot say enough about the professionalism and friendliness of all staff members. Thank you!

Ive also tried calling several times to make an appt and never in my life have i called a place and let the phone ring as many times as it. I had my glasses stepped on and it was badly bend, and the girl said she could fix it. When she came back, my glasses looked brand new. I'm so happy that Amber was able to fix my glasses. The manager clocked out while I was waiting for assistance. Nobody helped me for over 45 minutes and employees couldn’t find another customer’s glasses for pick-up the entire time I was in the store. The customer was being yelled at, despite the fact that YOUR employees lost HER glasses. I stood around, wanting to pay for my glasses, with nobody to help me. The associate who checked me out (Christina) kept deferring me to the employee who was already helping the customer with the missing glasses. Maybe Christina didn’t want to sanitize my tray? She didn’t actively listen to me, and couldn’t answer my question: “How much for the anti-glare feature” until I explained it several times in different ways. She projected her assumptions onto me and couldn’t clearly answer how anti-glare works. She said “Your current glasses have it, actually” instead of relaying info on how the coating performs under studio lights, which is what I needed to know, since I don't use my current glasses for filming. She didn’t want to interact with me even though I was polite and patient while waiting for her help. She even went to chat with her coworker while I stood, waiting. It was only after taking out my insurance card and wallet that she put on her fake customer service voice. Maybe she thought I wasn’t really going to buy my glasses? Why would I stand there for 45 minutes... Anyway, the other employee who dealt with the missing glasses apologized to me about my experience at this location, but Christina, who tried to up-sell me after seeing my insurance, did not. She didn’t even thank me for waiting. A pandemic isn’t a good reason to make other people feel bad, especially if you’re already at work. We're all just trying to get through this, and I don't go out all the time anymore so this experience was disappointing. Not to mention, the security guard stood beside me and stared at me while I tried glasses on. Not pleasant and it made me feel uncomfortable. Now let's see if LensCrafters Metrotown misplaces my glasses... I'll be back with an update!

Maryam was incredibly friendly and nice while picking out my glasses, my service since her has been subpar at best. I was initially quoted that my glasses will take 7-10 days to arrive which is already a long wait compared to any other place I have bought glasses from before. I checked in after day 5 and was told they would come on the 7th or 8th day. On the 9th day I called and a lady with poor customer service answered. She told me that it usually takes 10-14 days and "weekends don't really count". She then told me that they will be here 2 weeks after placing my order, which is ridiculous when I paid $400 for these glasses hoping they will be here in time for my plans early next week. The lady was unprofessional and lacked manners. She did not apologize for the delay even though I was polite, and when I said thank you at the end of the conversation she simply responded "k bye!". I loved Maryam but I will never purchase glasses from lenscrafters again, very overpriced, slow and poor service.

Great selection, fast turn around. Terrible prices! Unfortunately, their prices are ridiculously marked up, even with their "discounts". I even considered having my existing framed re-lensed, but their quote was nearly three times higher than elsewhere ($298 vs $90). They tried to convince me to get new glasses (since re-lensing was so expensive), and I did find many nice designer frames. However, after looking else where, I found the same designer frames for half their price. Service dad alright. Both times I visited, it took awhile for an employee to contact me, though they were very friendly when they did. Very much about the sale though, rather than helping to choose frames. Convenient, due to the fast processing and large selection, but prices are outlandish.

Couldn't hope for a better experience. Really. Me and my wife were helped by Andrew, a really friendly assistant that not only helped us pick the right frames for us, but also carefully explained the different lens types, recommending the best ones for us (without necessarily trying to up-sell something to us). The frames are now ready for pickup, only 5 days after ordering them. The store also bills directly to your insurance company (depending on which on you have), which is way better than having to pay by yourself and issue a claim. Also, if you don't have a prescription with you, there's a optometrists clinic attached to the store so you can simply book an appointment and get examined by the doctors next-door. Excellent staff, professional people, best prices for frames and lenses I could find. What's not to like ?

I should have turned around and left when I saw a customer furious that her glasses were incorrect and they refused to help even though they bought them 5 days ago. They told me I could get my glasses within 1 hour. After arriving I was told I would have to wait 10 days. I highly recommend going elsewhere for glasses such as driving to Kingston. Poor customer skills and outrageous price for lenses. If there was an option for 0 stars I would have put that. The chain standards team should really make a visit to this store to correct these deficiencies and discipline the employees who work there who choose to do this to their customers.

Went in there looking to purchase a pair of sunglasses. Online website and in store signs clearing show the promotion $99 frame + lens, no charge for tint. A lady (licensed optometrist, didn’t get the name, talked very fast) told me that sunglasses were different, $99 only for clear, I have to pay the full price of $150 + lens $1xx totalling around $350. I told her that the frame was from the $99 promotion and she still kept saying sunglasses are different and tried to rip me off with expensive lens which I don’t want. When I decide to purchase a $500+ glasses like the one I am wearing, it won't be at your store. Happy to be spending money elsewhere

I have been buying my glasses at the Lenscrafters location in shoppers world for years now and they never disappoint. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I mistakenly chose the wrong coloured frames and my sunglasses were too big with my lenses. They let me exchange the frames for a different colour and had me choose another pair of sunglasses. I have been going to this location for years. Even after leaving Peel region I still go back to get adjustments and to get new glasses. This Lenscrafters has the best customer service from any that I have been to. My daughter had an eye exam done by Dr. Sana Owais today. Paid $115.00 for it. Even though due to the covid-19 pandemic, contact lens fittings are not permitted to be done, and mentioning this fact to us as well, stating that she is unable to do it in anyway this doctor charged us the fee of 50 dollars for a contach lens fitting having just given free samples..!!! Extremely disappointed with the customer service level. I had been there and the lady that had helped us was nice, that's why I went back. This time around when I walked in there was an older lady (with a European accent I believe) that was really nice and helpful but she was busy with every customer that walked in. The other 3 people that were there working completely ignored me, didn't even say hello. I was waiting for the other lady but I had to leave soon, so she asked the male that was working there to help me. Horrible customer service, seemed upset that he had to help me and that I wouldn't go for the most expensive option. They have a sale on Armani Exchange glasses right now, even though I had chosen a pair of those glasses he never once mentioned the sale. If I hadn't asked about it he would have never said anything about the sale. He could have even up-sold me within the sale prices and I would've have gone for it because I would still get ~$400 pair for about ~$200.

I will never come back, i got a pair of glasses here 3 years ago for $450, no even a nice name brand, very basic lenses only with non scratch glass ( because i paid for it) $90 for the eye exams plus their " warranty" of $50 dollars, wherever after a couple months my glasses had scratches in the "non scratchs glass!!" i went back for get my warranty and they gave me same glasses wich i even had to pay $50 more for get the new ones i feelt rip off because they don't tell you when you pay their warranty when you go and make it work you have to pay 50 extra again, $640 total, the glass was awful lower quality and now i just went to the optical inside of super store i paid half than that ($300)plus $85 for my eye exam,extended warranty inclued on the price, better customer care, nicer quality and name brand for a better price.

As far as you are happy with your order they are OK. but if you want to return glasses you will be in a big problem. The process to refund your insurance takes 6 weeks!!There is nothing mentioned about this processing time in their website and I was told so after I made the return!! Had I known about this earlier, I would have never purchased my prescription glasses from them in the first place. It is ridiculous that I have to wait at least 6 weeks until I can get a new pair of PRESCRIPTION glasses that I desperately need as I work with PC a lot. The store takes no responsibility to at least give you a clear update of the process and all they say is that in the hands of the head office for which thy have no control over and even I cannot contact them directly. So you end up contacting insurance too, confirming they have got nothing from the provider. They told me they will give me a call with the response from head office which they never did. Lenscafter: FYI, as a customer I do not care if my request is in the hands of head office or the store. You are responsible to work as a team to satisfy your customers. What takes you 6 whole weeks to do a refund on medical glasses?! At least have some transparency mentioning this to your customers before they make a purchase!

Came in a few months ago because I broke my brothers glasses right before his camping trip and I was desperate to get them fixed right away. His glasses were from Grace eyewear (also in the mall) so I went there first to ask them if they could fix it and they gave me an address to go somewhere else. After one interaction, she’d have to switch tablets because it had to be restarted. Yvonne would apology for the delay but it’s not her fault. They always call you ahead of time to remind you when you have an upcoming appointment.The only thing is sometimes there is a long wait when there are other patients ahead of you, so prepare to sit for a long time. When I mentioned about my coverage at the payment, she said the insurance company might not be working on Sunday and saying that their internet connection line is poor so it might fail to go through the claim. She just stood at the cashier register desk and did nothing. (Not even trying to send the claim form) Other rep opened the computer and check the claim. The claim went through in no time. She just wants to sell the product not caring about the customer at all. Our family has been buying the glasses at Lens C but unfortunately, we have decided that we are not going back again.

Bring your CAA card, many of the sunglasses and regular glasses and prescriptions are 30% off with a CAA card. 30%, that's huge! I bought a pair of sunglasses marked $219.99 and they came out to $174.01 after tax. They even adjusted and widened the frame a bit for me, took about a minute to do that and they fit great. They're definitely all about customer satisfaction at this place.

I had two pleasant experiences here; 1- A while ago, I purchased my safety glasses for work. They are pretty, rated per WorkSafe BC regulations, and my vision is very good with them. 2- A pair of daily glasses was losing a screw and I needed a fix. Just a minute ago, someone named Catherine (or something similar to that) helped out and promptly fixed it for me. So happy now!
