Laurier optical as a whole is amazing from the greetings at the front entrance to the service and selection of frames, and the friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Leah is a very open and honest sales person. You know you can count on her experience to guide you to the right frames every time. She makes customers feel comfortable and you know you can trust her to steer you right. The price points on frames whether for kids or fun sunglasses are more than reasonable. 5 stars all the way. Got my new glasses 2 weeks later my husband sat on them. Went in to get them replaced it was an accident they only charged me $50, and had new pair back within the week. Plus I now have my broken ones for some spare parts! Great understanding excellent service!!

I love getting my glasses at Laurier Optical. I use the plastic frames and lots of selection to choose from. The staff are amazing, they give you space to look and offer advice when asked. Everyone is professional and friendly. Will always get my glasses there when needed, and if my kids ever need glasses we'll get them there too.

I have worn glasses for over 50 years, so I have had many different experiences. This is the only place I will ever purchase my glasses from. Leah has always found the perfect fit for me which is no small feat with my difficult prescription. All the staff have been excellent and I am pleased to say that almost every time the adjustments required have been completed on my first visit. That alone is a rare experience. They are the ultimate professionals and their friendly knowledgeable staff is second to none. Thanks for the amazing experience every time!!!

I've been dealing with them for a month. They got my prescription wrong the first time so I did get a free eye exam and they replaced my lenses after making me wear them for a day knowing I couldn't see large letters across the room. The eye dr only asked me if i could see lines but didn't want me to read them out. He'd move on to another part of the exam even when I told him the letters were a bit blurry. I had to call to find out my glasses were in. I'm still waiting on my second pair. One lady told me in a kind of rude voice that she's not there everyday to do the glasses. I will be finding somewhere else to go.

Terrible service in how they deal with their clients and their optical needs. I have never been to an optical place before where glasses (which were paid for) weren’t checked for proper fitting around the ears and how they centred on the face before heading home. This should be done especially when dealing with a child. You don’t just ask -you have to physically check. Maybe it was because the first pair didn’t fit properly and I brought them back for another pair. Regardless it was not a good experience I know we’re dealing with a pandemic but everyone had a mask on. If the staff are that uncomfortable maybe they shouldn’t work in a customer oriented business. I would never return to this optical establishment or encourage anyone to go here.

Good for COVID precautions, terrible service. I went in for my last eye exam covered by OHIP, Dr. Zeb only flipped the lens twice and asked "could I see". Did not ask me to even read the letters in front of me, didn't bother checking after I commented that i see double vision with the goggle things to my eyes. He gave me a changed prescription for the SPH and CYL, but not the Axis, which is needed if the something is written for CYL. I called 3 times with no answer, but 1 voicemail saying "just try the number 0" on a number I need between 1-180. It took me over a month to get there with the wait list. I've been going here for a few years now and this is the worst service I've ever seen. I would NOT suggest coming here if you care to see at all.
