I am back for my 2nd pair of glasses at Essenzia. Alain and Stacey deserve to pat themselves on the back for sticking with it and not listening to people who told them to abandon their business many years ago. I did do some shopping around this time for my new glasses and wasted my time and money. I ended up buying and returning new glasses at a large chain. I won't make that mistake again. They have exquisite frames to suit every budget. The lenses are of the highest quality and so customized that there is little to no adjustment time. Customer service is second to none. Essenzia eyewear is an asset to Belleville, Ontario and to all the customers who travel here to purchase their eyewear.

Essenzia never fails to impress. They provide the most personal and professional service. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very funny. It makes the experience feel very special. They have a wide selection of gorgeous frames, and the lenses are exceptional. After trying a great many businesses I must say this has by far been the best and most satisfying. When I was shopping for new glasses they lent me frames to bring home and try and see if I liked them and that was very special. They also give great advice on what is in style but also what suits you. I had broken my beloved frames recently, and staff worked tirelessly to replace them, very very fast service, especially for a harder to find pair of glasses. They also replaced them free of charge! If you can be smitten with a business, this is it. I would recommend Essenzia to anyone. Its a beautiful store, with wonderful attentive staff, as a customer I could not ask for anything more. Thank you so much! I love my glasses and receive endless compliments on them, and you will too. :)

I am incredibly grateful to live so close to Essenzia! Alain has the latest technology to customize not only the right fit, but lenses that allow for an experience that truly needs to be seen, not just described. I don’t even feel like I’m looking through lenses, yet my Rx has increased. I was bracing myself for an adjustment period. Not this time! Just an “ah-ha” moment... I don’t recall being able to truly see this well. My new frames are gorgeous - Alain knows the shape, colours..etc to bring out my best features. It feels like a new beginning :)

I attended Essenzia today, as per a personal referral from my colleague. Typically, I have always purchased my eyewear from a large chain store in the Quinte Mall. I was not in need of new glasses today; however, had four pairs of glasses that my toddler got into and played dress-up with, unbeknownst to me at the time - they needed some significant adjustments. Alain was exceptionally kind and took the time to view each pair of my glasses on me and make the required adjustments. All of my glasses not only are adjusted, they fit my face better than ever. I now know that they (toddler aside) were never adjusted to my face correctly in the first place. I shouldn't see or feel my glasses, who knew (?) I not only have a clearer view - quite literally, my perspective on where to purchase in the future has changed - I will definitely be back! Essenzia has a large selection of frames, brand names as well as unique designs/designers that are not a dime a dozen. If you are looking for frames that fit correctly, flatter your unique face and style - See Alain, you will not be disappointed - he knows what he is doing and he is not in it just for the sale. Other observations I had today while in Essenzia were that the store is spotless, bright (great natural light) and inviting. Alain brought up a good point today, many chains have associates that are literally sales representatives, they are extremely kind; however, in some case, innocently they are not aware of the need for proper fit for the face, beyond design/appearance, as glasses are a medical device. Simple - but funny I had never viewed them that way. It is important to ensure you choose the right ones so that you see through them correctly and they are not restricting your vision, which in turn can lead to other issues. Thank you Alain for the wonderful customer service today. It is very evident that you are knowledgeable and take great pride in servicing your community!

Going to Essenzia is a totally different experience when buying glasses. I can honestly say that Alain had the absolute best customer service of any business that I have been to. Firstly, you need to make an appointment before you go in to purchase your glasses. The reason for this is that Alain wants to give his full undivided attention so that he can help you choose the best possible glasses for your face, style etc. He takes the time to get to know you and your likes and dislikes. He carries so many different up to date styles that are not the cookie cutter glasses that you can get from the big box store . Essenzia might be a little more expensive than those big stores but the service and care you receive during and after your purchase are worth everything. I have been going to Essenzia since Alain first opened the doors and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended.
