It was my first time at Georgian Mall and the service I got from the staff was great. I wasn't pressured into buying something specific and the purchase went smoothly. Part of my expenses were paid for by my insurance which they processed directly in the store. I had my baby with me and felt at ease to take care of her when I needed to while I browsed through glasses.

Not impressed with caddy customer service. It felt very much like I was in high-school w a pair of mean girls. I had contacted this location the day before and asked an employee if they were able to help fix 2 pairs of frames NOT from thier store, but from online. I explained my.situation which included the covid19 lock down and a pair of broken frames I could not get replaced anywhere in barrie so I had to purchase online since I can not see w out my lenses. That employee specially told me I could absolutly come in and recieve help and even stated he checked w his manager to be 100% sure and the answer was a definitive yes. I went to this location the very next day and was informed by 2 female employees they could not help me because the frames are not from Lens crafters even tho I was told different I understood this could be an issue & this was not my issue with this location. I was extremely put off by the mean girl attitudes that followed. I was asked "why didn't just you just come to us sooner to recieve proper frames" "why don't you pay for new ones, they are only $99" "did you not apply for CRB" "what do you do for a living that was in lock down w no income". It was like I had to excuse my reasoning for purchasing frames online and requiring help when one frame was bent from work and the other was too large of a fit. I was just asking for help, info and maybe even...oh I don't know respect? I walked out of this location feeling extremely upset and belittled. I will never be purchasing from this company due to this treatment. I will 10000000% taking my business else where. And this is from a small business owner.... by the way.

As a college student I have a strict budget, I came here with my sister and the man that served us (I don't remember his name) was nice at first but when we decided to wait a little bit longer he got really rude and was very impatient. Legit words were "OK that's it we're done here" and practically shoved my prescription papers back in my face. Never coming here again do not recommend at all.

After losing my sunglasses in the lake last week I was desperate for a replacement pair. Since I am a bit prone to losing my glasses I wanted a pair that were stylish but affordable. The sales agent was very helpful in guiding me to a combination of sales frames paired with a quality lens. I will definitely go back for my next pair…but hopefully not too soon :(

I personally came to have my glasses checked and Allen was extremely helpful and was very much willing to fix my glasses. Despite being so busy in the workplace, he was still able to finish it fast. I also inquired about some products from their store and he was very much knowledgable about it and he even suggested some very interesting products and different offers. Clearly, he was very professional and is excellent at his job especially the service that he is capable of providing to the customers. If ever you get the chance to visit, don’t hesitate to look for Allen for he will give you an experience that is beyond your expectations.

We have been going to LensCrafters in Newmarket Upper Canada Mall for years. We decided to give the one in Georgian Mall in Barrie a try. Firstly we are greeted by a well dressed and warm and welcoming gentleman named Gary. We told him why we were here and he told me I could check out this area while he took my husband to check out the men's glasses. I didn't know what I wanted to do so he helped me by taking the top four and putting them on the screen by taking pictures of me wearing them. It made the choice much easier then as you could see yourself actually in them and compared to the others. He was very calm with me as I changed my mind over and over again. So what started out as two sets of glasses with new lenses and a new set of sunglasses with new lenses ended up to be new lenses put in my old frames not another set of new glasses but a set of sunglasses that were new. I had in the end decided I didn't need the second pair of glasses right away. He was so professional and we had a few good laughs with him it was a very enjoyable visit. Very very disappointed that they don't do it in 1 hour anymore but then this is a sign of the times. All in all this experience was it 10 out of 5

If I could give zero stars I would. Take your money else where when buying new glasses. I’ve always gone to LensCrafters because it’s convenient, walk around the mall, go back, boom glasses are done. Well I ordered a pair, get told AFTER it will be 3-5 days and now we’re at day 10 still no glasses. Called “yup should be done by Wednesday” well it’s wednesday and still no glasses to be picked up. Not impressed. Kind of need to see. They’ve lost a customer for sure. Go elsewhere!!

My fiance was in an atv accident and broke her glasses, she's basically blind without them. I called to have a replacement pair made and it normally takes 2 weeks due to the prescription. To make a long story short they made her a temporary pair the very next day. The customer service that we received was out of this world ! Thank you again.

store was well organized and sanitary following the Covid-19 protocols, the staff were very friendly and helpful! It was my first time using my benefits, unfortunately my benefits do not have direct billing but Mary-Martha was extremely helpful in helping me make a claim through my benefits phone app. I will definitely return when its time for me to get a new pair!

They have a decent collection, and as normal are owned by Luxottica. Customer service, knowledge of their own system and your value as a customer may be a hit or a miss. Even after spending over $500 at the store, we left feeling unwelcomed. Strongly recommend that you try other stores or locations.Good Luck.

Have always purchased my glasses and families glasses at lens crafters as long as I can remember. I broke a pair of my rayban glasses (arm) went in to store they didnt even look at them. Immediately told me I needed new glasses and quotes me $650. Service was terrible! I went to hakim optical as soon as I left and they found the parts I needed within 2 min. I not only got the parts I needed but purchased a second set of the same glasses for UNDER HALF what lenscrafters quoted me. I will never return to lenscrafters georgian mall nor will my family. Great job guys.

Horrible service. Bought Glasses then found a better deal elsewhere. When I went to ask for a refund the employee (Todd) berated me for returning my order and embarrassed me in front of the staff and other customers. When I bought the glasses Todd told me the benefits system wasn't working and I would have to contact my provider and have them send me the funds direct. When I did this it was found that Lenscrafters did in fact put through my benefits and I would have to go to the location and deal with them. This is when I spoke with a rude store manager named Lindsay I believe. I explained the situation and again she was very rude about it and condescending towards me as an upset customer. She promised me someone from head office would call me within 2 business from head office. A month later I call their customer service and they have no record of anything on this situation. If you want to deal with a company that only cares about the sale and not the after sale care, I would suggest Lenscrafters. If you want food service and follow up, go elsewhere.

I have always gotten my glasses from LensCrafters but decided to branch out to a different company this year (for completely unrelated reasons), however LensCrafters has still been amazing as my local glasses store, helping me to adjust my new glasses from somewhere else! I really like being able to rate my experience. This is the first day I've done it. My daughter told me how. My experience was good, but nothing is perfect. Glasses are too expensive but they are everywhere. It felt like the sales girl told me every pair I tried on look good. Truth is nothing really looked that good. I would like more help to find the right ones when I'm ready to buy. I don't want to just hear what they think I want to hear. She was nice and just doing her job.

*DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION ANY BUSINESS THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UN-TRAINED AND UN-PROFESSIONAL* I was here yesterday for an "adjustment" and i have never in my life been belittled and made to feel like an irrelevant sack of sh*t then when i left this store. i had walked in and not been greeted by anyone, no one offered me any help until some lady came up from the back and was like " can i actually help anyone?" with a very rude demeanour i had approached her and stated i needed an adjustment to which she rolled her eyes at and had angrily stated " go sit over there" once i had sat at the table with my girlfriend with me and was approached by a " STUDENT OPTICIAN" which i think is wrong, why is someone not fully trained assisting me with an "adjustment" which could very easily go very wrong if not done correctly. as she had approached the table she had been angry too and said to myself and my girlfriend "which one of you is getting the adjustment" when i was clearly the only one wearing glasses. To which she made a sarcastic remark. so as i was explaining to her what needed to be fixed/adjusted she was essentially telling me that the material my glasses are made of does not hold adjustments and that she was essentially wasting her time trying ( when she was wearing frames made of the same material.) she had taken my glasses reluctantly and had gone to the back to make the needed adjustments. upon her return she had again stated how bad the material was and that it was not going to hold the adjustments she had just tried to make, with a very rude/frustrated demeanour, she asked me how they felt i asked if she could tighten the arms behind my ears to prevent them from falling off ( which i have had done at numerous locations other than this one) she stated " no it won't hold i can't do it" to my return "well i'm sure you can i've had it done before at other locations and they fixed it without any argument " she stated that she was right and it could not be done and she was never wrong and that she will try but it will not hold because the frames are made of a poor material. after bending them the wrong way i left angry and un-satisfied. i had also noticed upon leaving while making the adjustments she had cleaned my lenses and had used something abrasive and had left scratches on my lenses. she was extremely rude and very un-professional and not fully certified and i hope that she does not get her full certification because i would not like to think about someone else being treated so poorly. i have been giving Lencrafters my business for years after this traumatic experience i will be shopping elsewhere for glasses in the future.

I have an allergy to nickel, a common ingredient to eyewear frames. I had purchased two pair of glasses and found that my allergy was activated by both sets of frames. Lens Crafters took back both pairs and worked with me to find the best frames possible for this condition. I had a great experience here. I forgot that Lenscrafters makes your glasses in an hour so that was a bonus. I also liked the great selection of designer frames and sunglasses. Ive had two experiences here and both were terrible! First time i was purchasing sports glasses for my son. He had an eye appointment for a new prescription a few weeks later. The store staff informed me that if i purchased the sports glasses that day i could come back with the new prescription and change the lenses free of charge.. so i did that and they turned around and denied me.. making an easy buck. Second time i called for promos on children lenses and frames. They said yes, 50 percent off. I said perfect. I asked if they could have it done by the end of the week because my son broke his. They said yes.. but i would have to pay full price! What! Really? Ha.. Never again!
