I recently had an eye exam and got new frames and my experience was just amazing. The customer service is helpful and super nice, they also have really good taste in glasses. My visit was awesome and fast, there are so many frames and brands to choose from. I loved the unique styles and designs they had which you can't find elsewhere and the prices are amazing as well. I've been going to the optical store for over 15 yrs. I got all my glasses but 1 there and based on my experience at that other place it is definitely worth the drive to Mississauga. I like the atmosphere, the products and best of all the service. I love how honest and professional Paula is. It's not about the cost of the frame but how it fits my face, my complexion and best of all my budget. They never try to push the most expensive, just the best fit. 5 stars for sure!!! Dun know Mike and Paula nuff respect!! ????.

Wow, what a dedicated staff at this store. I normally don't write reviews, but given how superior I found them relative to anywhere else, I felt it necessary to share my experience... I scheduled an eye exam, and they gladly squeezed me in on the same day despite their busy schedule. Once finished with the vision exam by a friendly and professional optometrist (who explained everything and answered all of my questions), I was greeted by the most friendly agent who helped me pick out my frames and choose the right lenses from the options available. She was super nice, professional, and simply fantastic. Moreover, when I told her that I don't have enough daily contact lenses to last me until my frames would be ready, she gladly supplied my with a few to hold me over. No doubt, this store and staff is 110% committed to providing the best consumer experience to all who walk through their doors. I find it hard to find the right words to describe how much I recommend their services. I will surely come back to The Optical Store to purchase all my frames and contact lenses, and I highly recommend this store to everyone! They get my highest praise!

Fair place gives you good advice with guidance. For first time buyer I would suggest you can go. I found expensive for a people who do not have insurance. Amazing customer service! Highly recommend. A friend referred me to come here as I was having issues with my contacts I was prescribed. They immediately had me try on 2 different pairs to see my comfort level and rechecked my eyes to make sure it was correct. I got to keep the trial pair. I found it a little strange that a month later I didn't receive a phonecall saying my contacts weren ready. I called to check in the manufacturer shipped it to an incorrect address and they will reorder. I asked if I could get another sample pair now being out of contacts again. They said sure come back in. So I did and within a few days my contacts were in. Definately coming back when I need to get an eye exam and new glasses.

Never knew getting a new pair of glasses could be such a great experience! It's been a while since I got my last pair of glasses so it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted, but everyone was so nice and patient. Mike and his team gave many suggestions on the style of the frame. At first, I was a bit hesitant to try them out because I've never worn styles like that, but when I did I was so surprised at how they suit my facial features perfectly. When I went to pick up my glasses a few weeks later, Mike also gave much professional advice on how to get used to a new pair of glasses faster, and Giang also shared a routine that he uses to help his eyes not get worse as fast. A perfect/10!

I had accidentally broken my glasses frame handle and I didn't know where to go to fix it because I purchased it outside Canada. My parents told me to go here and Im glad I did. Sherry assisted me and said she will try her best to help fix it. A couple hours later she called saying she couldn't fix it because the screws she had wouldn't fit my glasses. So I was obviously disappointed but when I came to the store to pick it up I was surprised to learn that she managed to find a way to fix it. I was so impressed that she didn't give up! This place is a gem. They deserve no bad ratings. I have been going to them since I got my fair pair of glasses in grade 6. I went in today to repair two pair of glasses that I thought I would have to pay out of pocket for. I went In and told them that the glasses I owned were broken. The person who helped me(you know who you are) was amazing and replaced my glasses free of charge because of the warranty and explained to how to avoid breaking them and all the care rules that go into owning a pair of glasses. I would only trust this place for my optical needs In Mississauga.

I was shopping around for glasses at some of the other stores in square one and bramalea City center for a few months waiting for black Friday/boxing day sales and saw a few deals but nothing caught my attention. Everything seemed too expensive and well I was happy enough getting by with my old Guess glasses (which I bought from this same exact store in 2015 I think). One day I randomly decided to go back to this store. I no longer live in Malton. I live on the far side of Brampton West but I had to see Mike (the owner) because they always seem to have something that catches my eye. And these guys DO NOT DISAPPOINT. The minute I walk in they make you feel like family and make you feel very comfortable dealing with them. Not only did they special order frames for me, but they also beat the price of any other store out there who were giving those same exact frames. It was totally worth the long drive there and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I am not getting any discount by posting this and I am not affiliated with this store. I just really appreciate good customer service. My whole family has been going here since we lived in Malton and I told them I will be back when it's time for a new pair. They are simply that good. Mike is just fantastic and his team is so friendly and welcoming! I got my first pair of glasses from The Optical Store over 10 years ago. After moving, I've bought different pairs of glasses from other stores. My last pair from a store close to my home was disastrous. Thankfully, I got a refund and drove 45 minutes to see Mike. It was worth the trip. I ordered the same pair of glasses from him and he was relentless in ensuring I did not have the same issue. I left completely satisfied. Lesson learned: convenience is not always best. From now on, I'll make the trip to the Optical Store when I'm ready for new glasses.

I didn’t have an appointment but mentioned slightly that my lenses are being weird and Joanne took initiative and replaced them on the spot for me- also advising on what not to do so my problem doesn’t reoccur! I travelled by plane to Toronto to attend a wedding. To my horror, I quickly realized I had left my prescription glasses on my flight. I only had my prescription safety glasses on. Paula picked up the phone and listened to my story, and told me to head to their store. I went there straight from Pearson International Airport. Upon arrival, they ushered me in so quick! Yang gave me a check for contact lenses they had in stock and gave me very close lenses to my normal prescription. The staff at this store are incredible kind and good hearted. You can feel it the minute you enter that store that they want to do their best for you. Everyone here was absolutely amazing. If I could give this place 10/5 stars, I would. This was my first time at this store and I was treated with the best customer service ever! Everyone was so helpful. Paula was amazing! She helped me find the perfect glass frames for me. Joanna gave me perfect advice and explained how bifocals work and it turns out after her advice that two pairs would work best for my needs. For my job, I spend a lot of time on the computer and read a lot, so one pair for that and the other pair for everyday wear. I was so happy because previously when I wore bifocals to do computer work it caused me neck pain because I was always trying to adjust my head or computer to see better. Mike was also amazing and explained everything again about the glasses I was purchasing to make sure that I was satisfied with my decision without any pressure to buy. After taking the exam, I was diagnosed that one eye is nearsighted, and the other is farsighted... and my daughter's getting a worse nearsighted degree... Wow - I love this place. I don't very often write reviews but I feel compelled to give feedback on this great find. Needing new bifocal/progressive glasses but not wanting to overspend, I had bought some online with terrible results. The PD measurements that I did myself were inaccurate and the style I chose didn't suit me or my prescription. the result was that the reading portion was too low on my face for me to be able to see. I returned them for a refund. So I decided to accept the cost and shop around at real shops instead of online, but everywhere was so expensive. Then I found the Optical Store. Tucked away in a run down mall (which is good because I know my money is paying for the glasses and not the rent), they were significantly cheaper than every other shop I had tried without compromising on customer service or product quality. The staff are wonderful - friendly, welcoming, honest and knowledgeable without being pushy. The glasses are perfect - they look great and I can see again! Thank you Optical Store!

On my last visit, Paula helped us select a cute pair of replacement glasses for my active child whose glasses broke while playing on the playground. She was very helpful and quick! We were in and out of the store in about 30 minutes! This will be the third pair we bought from here. They do try to find alternative solutions to repairing our child's glasses so we save some money. It's not about the "sale." Thank goodness the prices are reasonable, selection for kids is great and they are ready in about a week! They are also prompt in calling you when the glasses are ready! The Optical Store is a great place for your eye care needs. I get contact lenses from the team every now and then. The process is always smooth and easy. The prices are reasonable and affordable as well. Recently, I walked in for a pair of new prescriptions glasses. Paula, Sherry and Raman were absolutely amazing right from the selection of the frames to the final adjustments. They also threw in a lens solution kit on the house!
