If there is one item I am very particular about it's my glasses. From the style frame to the fit, one might call me obsessive. After a going to a very reuputable chain for my last purchase and having a less than desirable experience, a friend introduced me to Karen from Sport Specs & Opticals. I found exactly what I wanted in less than 20 minutes and paid less than half of what the other stores were charging for the same frame. While I hardly ever post reviews, I wish I could rate this store with 10 stars. I'm looking forward to my next purchase!

For anyone with Dry Eye and Allergies, you HAVE to shop here. Karen is amazing, going the extra mile to help me. I am a recreational cyclist (bike packing, regional trail riding, work commuter). I've always had problems with dry-eye but it has gotten worse as I age (I'm 50+). Cycling this summer was especially bad with the hot / dry air, compounded with dust & pollen allergies, I was miserable! After a 1-2 hour bike ride my eyes would water, itch and burn for days. I tried so many different cycling glasses, prescription allergy eye drops + various moisturizing eye drops with little to no relief. The only thing that worked for me was to wear a pair of swim goggles! While the swim goggles worked to create a pollen/dust/wind-proof seal, they were absolutely impractical … constantly fogging up, hot and uncomfortable not to mention funny looking. I searched everywhere for a solution and found many references to 7Eye eyewear based in the USA. Through 7Eye's customer service I was connected with Karen at Sport Specs. Karen's patience, expertise and commitment to finding a solution totally exceeded my expectations. I am one VERY happy customer (who will definitely be a repeat customer)! After a consultation, Karen was able to recommend the perfect pair of 7Eye windproof glasses (Diablo) that fit my face so well, completely protecting my eyes yet non-fogging and comfortable. We went with the Photochromic Eclypse (clear to dark-grey) lenses and they are the fastest changing photochromic glasses that I've owned. I'm so impressed with Karen and the 7Eye glasses that she sold me. I would absolutely recommend them to any sports enthusiast (cycling, boating, skiing, motorcycle) that suffers from dry-eye and wants to finally find relief!

All around excellent! First I was looking for prescription sports goggles somewhere that had more than one or two to pick from. They had lots - and I met Karen - so personable and helpful! She did such a great job on them that since then Karen has helped me with readers, progressives & driving glasses with sunglass clips. She is so patient and works with me to get things just right every time. And she has assembled a great team. I recently switched to Dr. Libenson for my eye check ups - and the one who fitted my glasses also did a great job. If you ever feel like great customer service is a lost art, Karen will restore your faith.
