Matador Eyeworks is a really incredible place with an amazing atmosphere. Not only do they have an array of designer glasses, but Mark and Zeena are extremely knowledgable and will help you find a pair that will fit your face correctly (I now know that Kate Spade makes smaller frames that fit my tiny head just right!). They also have local art displayed and you can even bring your records in and listen to music while trying on your glasses! Really great local business and I would definitely recommend them to anyone :)

I’ve been wearing glasses for the last 28 years of my life, and let me tell you, I have never found glasses and sunglasses as perfect as the ones I picked up from Mark and Zeena at Matador. 3 years later with my Leisure Society glasses and I still get compliments everyday on these frames. They’ve held up so well. The Zeiss lenses are an absolute life changer and have helped my vision 20 fold. The selection of lenses at Matador are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. You will definitely find something unique and perfect for your personality. With the help of Mark and Zeena, you will leave feeling confident. Pricey, sure, but I’m tired of spending money in cheaply made products. The frames here are genuinely heirlooms. I would recommend Matador to anyone in a heartbeat!

I wanted to share my remarkable experience at Matador Eyeworks this week. I dropped in to discuss recent changes in the way I was seeing through a pair of glasses I purchased last year. Mark reviewed the glasses and discovered a rare aberation that had developed in the speciality lenses. They apologized for the challenge and offered to replace the lenses under warrantee. The lenses arrived in one week and they are now awesome once again. I want to mention that I brought in another pair of 5 year old glasses and Mark looked at them and politely asked if I would mind if he "tuned them up" ...so he took them into his magic workshop where I could see flashes of light and sparks and hear torches on fire and and voila a few mins later he emerged with a smug smile and said " try these now" ....I feel like I have 2 new pairs of glasses. Final point is that I came to grab my glasses in the middle of a very busy and demanding day. So, I worked on the white leather couch while I waited in their comfy living room lobby set up as I slurped a delightful coffee and used their wifi ....pretty sweet experience. Shawn Saulnier

I went in to the store, initially to look for a new pair of glasses, as I recently had a change in my prescription. I found frames to meet my style, and learned a lot more about the types of lenses and chose the right type for me. (transitions are amazing, if you've never tried it!) I've been wearing glasses for most of my life and have went through multiple glasses and locations over my blind life. I have to say this is the best eyewear location and experience ever. I definitely will be coming back and will be recommending here to everyone. Mark and Zeena were exceptional in helping my wife and I pick out our glasses. I enjoy the no pushy sale they gave and seem to genuinely care more about how the glasses look and feel on us then how much they can make. Their daughter was awesome in giving us her honest input on the frames and what's trendy ( cause us old blind bats can't keep up on tik tok) I went to Hakim, Lenscrafter, the optician store, and Superstore before coming here. Even if you don't buy from here, definitely check them out before you make your decisions. I bet 9 out of 10 people will be glad they did. (The other 1 probably got lost cause they're blind ???? ) The atmosphere is so Zen and great there I think they only thing that would make it better is a cappuccino/espresso machine for each sale. Haha but with current Covid restrictions you will probably have to drink it outside ????

They have a great selection of designer frames and brands, but that wasn't the only thing that drew me to this optical store. As soon as I walked in, Zeena and Mark made me feel valued and respected my opinion and needs. Even though they were busy helping other customers on a Saturday afternoon, they both made time to help me and did so seamlessly between clients. I had a great experience picking out a new pair of glasses from Matador. I have a very strong prescription, and I have been hesitant picking out frames that will work well with the thick lenses. Mark and Zeena were very patient with me the entire time, and made me feel comfortable, never pressuring me. The end result is wonderful! My lenses are the thinnest i have ever had, and I have received many compliments on the frames. Great location, excellent service, and a unique, local optical experience all together. I would highly recommend walking in and at least talking with Mark and Zeena about your current optical situation because you would be surprised as to where it could go. My glasses were adjusted on the spot and all of a sudden it was as if I was seeing life through new lens! All it took was just a simple adjustment of my frame! With the excellent track record in contact lense fitting, I will also be purchasing my contact lenses from Matador. Overall, the quality products and the exceptional service existent at Matador Eyeworks is beyond that of any other optical location I have been to in the Halton and Peel regions (I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses for 15 years). I've been to a few eye wear shops around Milton, and let me tell you, these guys know what they're doing. Simply put, they're the best in the business! I'm shocked how this a small business. I was shopping around during black Friday time and everywhere else, the prices were outrageous.
