If it could rate lower I would. Drove one hour to hakin today to get glasses. Shopped for 20min picking out frames then was told I would have to come back on Thursday to get measured for order because there was no one there to finish the order with me. Terrible. I left the store.

Twice now in the space of a year the staff at Hakim Belleville have gone out of their way to accommodate me and get me going asap after I broke my frames. Jaci (hope I spelled that correctly) especially has been fantastic and I definitely recommend them.

Ive waited weeks for one pair of glasses, I’ve been given multiple excuses as to why they haven’t come in yet, as well as multiple dates for when they "should be in" which have all been wrong.

I have to say, we had a great experience with Jackie! My mom, who is suffering from dementia, realized her sun glass frames were broken. We contacted the store, and schedule an appointment for a couple of days later. Jackie came out, in full PPE, and took her glasses so that she could pull frames that would work as a replacement for my mom's appointment. Pulled up today and we were done within 10 minutes. I waited in the car, but when Mom returned, she raved about how efficient and organized Jackie was. She took about 30 minutes to get everything done and the prices were very reasonable! Really impressed and grateful for Jackie's professionalism and attention to detail.

Amazing customer service! Have bought many pairs of glasses from Hakim over the years. Always good quality. They even helped me repair my out of warranty glasses.

Wrong prescription in one lense. I went there to ask what is going on I can’t see. They said I needed to get use to them. After 2 weeks still were not working. Waisted so much money and my eyes got much worse in 2 years since I couldn’t wear them to correct my eyes. This is not the first time this company has done this. The other time was in another city in Ontario. Never again.

I’ve never had a problem in the past with this location but the last time I went in I was severly disappointed and decided to go elsewhere. The young lady that was in the store when I came in greeted me and proceeded to tell me the special on, except she did this all while standing behind the counter...I had to walk over to her. She also told me that they were extremely understaffed and the likelihood of me seeing the opt. (I needed an updated eye exam for my file) was unlikely on the days I was available (given, that isn’t her fault). Unimpressed with the customer service and how the store itself is being run.

I find this business is just ripping people off. Worst place to get glasses In my opinion as my experience with them i purchased 3 pairs of glasses two for my kid And one for me i expressed i cant see proper out of mine and seems all wavy and give me extreme migraines cant turn ur eyes or cant see at have to look threw one spacific spot to see at all i called an expressed that with in first week of having them . The receptionist said they would talk to dr an get back to me. They kept not returning calls an when i did talk to them said they have to talk to dr an they are not there all the time , they did this for months then in end told me i was past my warrenty time an had to pay to get them fixed if i wanted them they are a huge waste of time and money to deal with i do not recommend to anyone they avoid fixing glasses even when it is there mess up to begin with CON ARTISTS

yes there is only someone there to measure on certain days true however the cost difference in comparison to other belleville area is very good and worth it. To buy online insurance doesnt cover any of it.

I first went to Hakim Optical Bellville, because, my one and only pair of glasses had broke. I was in need of an eye exam also, this was over 2 years ago.Hakim Bellville had me in to see an Optometrist same day, and was the only place that had staff that gave me an opinion on Frames I picked. Today December 23rd 2021, my glasses broke. I am literally useless without them. Hakim Bellvilles staff, was beyond helpful. Highly Recommend.
