Stores are always clean. Like that they use Air Miles as a loyalty program. Good selection of local brews and spirits. Good to see them supporting the local producers.

Just Me

Was shopping for cannabis. Disappointed in the lack of knowledge the woman who me served had. I’d been told to go to Baddeck by a couple of friends, that there was a woman there who’s really good. Unfortunately. It wasn’t the one dealing with me. I’d told her I wanted a strain for anxiety ans then another one for helping me sleep. She told me she wasn’t a Dr (duh, as if I didn’t know that already lol) and that she wasn’t up to par when it came to cannabis. Am thinking then why are you serving me? Anyhow she told me she had a friend who took one of the vapes for sleep. Well it sure didn’t help me. And other one I’d bought was super strong. Told her I don’t smoke, but alas, guess she just didn’t know. So kind of waste of my time, money. :( On the booze side, really nice staff. Cashier was helpful and super friendly. Decent selection of wine.

The product is truly hit or miss and for the most part, misses. The weed can be very dry and other times too wet. Under weight is an issue as well. Bought 2 grams of hash to try, 1.90g. Won't happen again. The staff are very friendly and for the most part, knowledgeable.

I go into this store for my cooking alcohol needs. As being new in the province learning the combined liquor and beer is daunting. But however, the staff was great in helping me make decisions on what I need and brands.
