I truly love it here. Both my parents get their glasses done here, and I do as well. I love the styles they have, staff was super helpful and kind. The employee who helped my mom and I the other day was Gurpreet. Very polite, and helped me get what I was looking for. Prices were reasonable for high-end brands.

Love coming here. The service is very personalized and they are very patient when it comes to allowing you the time to choose the right pair of glasses. I've already gotten a pair of sunglasses and two pairs of reading glasses at great prices and direct billed to my insurance. I have worked with one optician, Gurpreet each time I've gone in and she's awesome and very professional and honest. Highly recommend!

The young lady at the front desk was genuinely pleasant and friendly who got me an appointment for Dr Aarti Nayar. Got seated in the waiting area and was right away seen by the Dr, who was very polite, precise and to the point and took her time with the examination. Had general check up and retinal scan ( the first one ever), where I was shown the cup to disk ratio, which was very informative. Highly recommended.

Great place for selecting eye wear! Very helpful staff! I was in the middle of my business trip to Calgary when my glasses broke and I visited Optiko to attend to this. Mr. Fedaa, the Optician was extremely warm and helpful and handled the issue promptly! A must visit shop for eye wear just so you can meet good people like Fedaa and other helpful staff here and see the wonderful collection they have.

Im putting 5 stars because the optometrist was very patient and nice. The guy that assist my daughter to picked for her glasses and help me go through my insurance was awesome I didn't get his name but it show in my receipt Farid. He did a great job. But I just want you to know to know also that there is other lady who assist me with my son's eyeglasses, and I don't like her because she is rushing us to choose a frame, mind you Im with a kid who don't know what he wants so it will really take time to pick the right one. And about my insurance she did not do her best effort trying before telling me I need to pay upfront. If not with the help of Farid I might not know that my insurance was doing deductible. But still I gave 5 because I know the you deserved it. Is just Im not gonna do business with that Lady i think its Shay thats what is in my receipt.

I consistently return to this store everytime I upgrade my glasses as the selection of brands and styles is great. Your staff is attentive, helpful and extremely knowledgable. I recently purchased a pair of combination Tom Ford glasses/sunglasses and couldn't be happier with it. It was a very pleasant experience. I have had my eyes examed at both Optiko in Sunridge Mall and Market Mall, both experiences exceeded my expectations. The doctor was kind and caring! I also purchased glasses and a pair of Tiffany sun glasses after the staff helping me select the perfect fit for my face. I felt welcomed and comfortable around the staff. Reception is not warm and welcoming. They make you feel like they are the customer instead of treating you as one. The exact feeling is, they don't want you there. New training on customer service and attitude towards customers is needed. The optometrist is very professional and thorough.

I came in for contact lenses, the front desk girl was rude and unprofessional. I inquired for a price range, but she was pressuring me to get an eye exam. The pricing in this store is over the roof! you can get the same contact lenses at Cosco for much cheaper. I advise you to go anywhere but here!!

It’s very upsetting to see people expect something high end be of a smaller amount than what it is in reality, this review isn’t to the store it’s to the people and complain about pricing when it is really out of the stores control but the manufacturer. Also for those who leave reviews about the smallest things like a screw not being replaceable at this location like really? You got the glasses fixed no charge at all regardless the location and still wanted to leave a 1 star.

I bought a gift card for an eye exam but when I showed up to use it, they told me it couldn't be used for the eye exam, it could ONLY be used for buying product in the store. I paid for the eye exam and then asked for a refund for my 'gift card'. They refused to refund me my money. Their staff is not trained properly and management is unwilling to correct any mistakes made by them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company!

1 star today. I have been a optiko Sunridge customer for 3 years. Approx. 1 week back i went there and purchase sunglasses and cost was around 517 but by mistake they charged me around 535. They booked me for eye checkup and i selected one prescription frame and asked a quote of progressive lens. The total cost given was around 780 approx. with discount of 25% on services(frame and lenses-I think). I went there today for my eye exam from Dr. Nayar and she did the eye exam. she was good. There were 2 girls and the first one was really rude and 2nd one was just a junior one i think and it was like that they were not happy to see a customer. No one knew anything about my last visit. They had to call and found the frame i selected but cost was around 900+(Frame + Lenses) now and no discount. Moreover they were not interested to claim my eye checkup fee to my insurance company and they were trying me to claim it on my own. i knew that i had to pay first which i did but they could have submitted the claim online to facilitate the customer in which they were not interested. The 1st girl gave me a form to sign but then the 2nd girl said why don't you do it on your own, it will be much faster. I really don't know why they have signs there that we just need your insurance number and we will manage the submission. They said that please contact Gurpreet next week on Tuesday for a discrepancy in Frame and Glasses cost. Gurpreet was professional and knew what she was doing during my first visit. She was accommodative, helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. It's a long story but it was not a pleasant trip today. I think i better forget about my 18$ as well and consider it a donation to Optiko because i don't want to go there. Its not the cost. The skillset, behaviours and attitude were below average. It was like that i was there to borrow money from them. They just wasted my time today, i wanted to order for the frame and glasses today but they couldn't manage it so their loss. Adios Optiko.

I've been seeing my optometrist, Dr. Tieu, for as long as I can remember. I've only ever had 2 other optometrists before Dr. Tieu and didn't know the routine check-up. My appointments before Dr. Tieu used to be approximately 10 minutes. When I started seeing Anita, she did so much more in my eye exam that she helped discover issues. She is very organized and I appreciate the cleanliness that she maintains. I haven't come across an optometrist that has been as meticulous and knowledgeable as Dr. Tieu She definitely makes it tough for me to trust anyone else! I have purchased my glasses from Optiko the past few years. The options they have are extensive and the sales staff are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable as well. After ordering my glasses, it came in about a week. I'm very impressed with the service from this team and have advised many friends/family to here. I'll definitely be returning.

Salam (the owner) is an amazing person, he is patient and nice. I was never able to wear contacts because I blink much , however he was able to help and get me to wear contacts. It took him over 3 hours of his personal time but he was always supportive....Best place to get eye wear

I went to the Calgary Sunridge location to have a simple repair done on my eyeglass frames, and although the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were unable to replace a simple screw for my frames. I went to a competitor in the same mall (Pearle Vision) and had the screw replaced in about 5 minutes at no charge. No question as to where I'll go next time.

I decided to try out a different optical office after having a bad experience at another office in Chinook Mall. Since I was shopping around in Sunridge Mall, I went in for an eye exam as a walk in, and the doctor took me in right away and they directly billed my insurance. When I finished, I came out and just wanted to browse around. Right away one of the girls asked me how the eye exam went and suggested some frames for me to try on. One great thing is they have such a wide selection of glasses. I am very indecisive and without her help and honesty, I wouldn't have been so happy with my purchase. The service here is incredible and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wanted to thank Optiko and the staff especially had the privilege of Gurpreet assisting my self and my husband to purchases a couple of frames and lenses. Very poor service provided. I have a very high prescription, eye doctors never looked at how would I feel in a new glasses before ordering them. They never make me try the temp prescription glasses to see if i am ok with the glasses that i will be ordering. They are just selling products but not actually looking at the patients how they feel. I will never back there and will not recommend them to anyone. They will just put you in a horrible trap. I really had a bad experience with them.

Staff is so cooperative, she help us to find suitable frames with very reasonable price. Initially, the idea of wearing glasses & contacts worried me. I didn’t believe I could find a pair that would suit my face. Nor did I believe that I would be able to successfully insert and remove contact lenses. Alia was very helpful, patient, and kind, throughout the entire process.
