It's huge. Parking lot is always busy and personally I think they have way too many handicap spots as fifty percent of them are never occupied. It's the Canadian version of walmart and partakes in the PC rewards program along with shoppers drugmart. Not a great store for quick trips as it's huge. Biggest dislike is that there's no self checkout. Like all other PC stores it's a BYO bags situation or pay for theirs.

The superstore is well run, similar to other in chain stores, however it is much more convenient to park there than in Metrotown, plenty of parking and less people. We prefer to go there than to the other locations.

I was an old customer for my all optical needs for the last four years but faced the worst customer service today (20th). They had an offer of BOGO, which was going to expire yesterday (19th Jan 2022) and we had our doctor's appointment on 20th, so after calling and confirming the store, they said we can reserve frames for you so that you can take advantage of the BOGO offer on 20th. I along with my wife went to the store two days before (18th Jan) to reserve our frames and after spending hours, we selected in total 4 (2 for each of us) frames since it was on BOGO and after reserving it for 20th, we left the store. When I reached the store on the 20th morning after my appointment with an optometrist, along with our new prescriptions, there was a lady (do not know the name) who said the offer is over and you can not take the BOGO advantage! SERIOUSLY? We both wasted our time, took the leave from our work (after store's confirmation) and NOBODY CARES?? Will not recommend it to anyone. You lost my business. Thank you.

DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BUGS!!! Anytime we shop here we get a pantry moth infestation. which can take weeks to get rid off, and have to throw out a lot of food! We weren't 100% sure if it was superstore or not so we stopped shopping in there for a few months, went back the other day and not even 24 hours later we had pantry moths!!! DISGUSTING!

This is a very nice Superstore, I'm not exactly sure why I like it compared to other Superstores, but it's probably the parking. The parking is ample, and I don't ever feel like I have to walk a mile to get to the store. It's also easy to get in to and out of. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful in all my interactions with them. Well, except this one time when a price check took simply way too long, but the manager stepped in and resolved it for us. A few things they could improve on: the first is ensuring their ticketed pricing matches what they have in their system. We watch the prices when scanned like a hawk because of this. The second is I HATE the multiples pricing that encourages you to buy two or three to get an extra discount. That's reason enough for me to not buy the one I wanted to get, but I guess it must work for them to drive sales. I just find that practice to be unfriendly to the customer. Finally, there's a Bosley's and a dollar store next door, and it's convenient to stop by before or after going to the movie theater, which is just a few minute's walk away.

RCS has evolved. It keeps making itself better and better. I have shopped at Save-On at Safeway and others, they all are good but for me RCS still stands out due to its competitive pricing, quality maintenance, convenience of locations and becoming a one stop shop from grocery to clothing to doctor to hair cut even banking and gas station. Not to mention it's point system always allows me to bank some money in my account by the end of the month. I just hope it remains the way it is...

Good prices. They started to add more organic options. Usually very dirty around bulk area. Some shelves have sharp corners. Be careful when you reach for lower standing items. Not enough cashiers. Busy most of the time at the check out, but cashiers work fast. Very good time to shop early morning or late in the evening.They have good promotions once in a while. For example, if you spend 250$, you get 50$ in points that you can spend on groceries other time. Another promo, for every 50$ spend you get 10$ in points as well. You have to check their website for that. If you will get their PC points card and sign up for email notifications, they will send info as well. Also, good for fuel to have points card. They have promo for every 40$ you spend you will get $5 in points. All those points are very handy when you need to buy 1 or 2 items.

Went to the store today to buy glasses but the lady at the store was the worst I've ever seen anyone in Customer Service Roles. She was extremely rude and just tried to get rid of us somehow. Whoever tried to come check glasses in the store, she simply asked them to get appointment even to check out the glasses. She is probably tired of her job and is least interested to attend any clients. I was extremely polite and didn't even touch any of the glasses there due to Covid protocols and to be a bit easy on her but I was probably wrong to be en easy client. Ended up heading to the optics at Superstore, Westwinds and got a great customer service from the lady (Christine) there. P.S. We bought glasses & Frames worth $600 and would get 2 more next week. I hope and expect that the management at Superstore Optics 20 Ave N.E. takes a strict action against such irritable, irresponsible and rude behaviour from this lady. Not going here ever.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. The guy at the superstore gas filled my car with regular gas even though I told him premium. I confronted him and he tried to blame me and said I told him to put regular into my car. I've been filling my car up at this location with the same premium gas for 3 years and I'm shocked that 1. He put the wrong gas into my car and 2. he tried to blame me for it. The gas attendant unapologetically said sorry and walked away as if it was no big deal. I'm extremely unhappy and this should not have happened. As a long time customer, I'm very disappointed on how this was handled and how unprofessional/untrained this gas attendant was. This has been a traumatic experience for me and I will not be allowing another gas attendant to fill up my car anymore as I do not trust them now.

Unbelievable prices for quality Eyewear!!! Always great service and the guarantee is nothing like I've ever seen for any guarantee! First time for glasses at 53 and I had to get progressives! A very minor prescription with a 2.25 reading and at first I had so many problems trying to see that instead of getting angry they tried a completely different lens with 4 levels and I've never had a problem since! I can read, work and do everything with them!! Give them a try, you won't regret it!!

I'm a fan. I like lots of Presidents Choice products. My local store has a medical clinic which I have used. Store is clean. Lots of parking. Just waiting for my location to add B.C. Wines. Strip mall also has a dollar store, Bosleys and Sally Beauty Supply. And a Superstore Gas Bar. I'm looking forward to feb1 when shoppers drug mart merges their rewards program. I love PC Points. Generally speaking I like superstore. They typically have great prices and good selection, but there's always something out of stock. This time it was frozen chicken wings. Last time it was Jamaican jerk sauce. The time before that, my brand of toilet paper. You get the point. Their staff is usually on point though. Last trip Sean helped me out in a huge way when my one and only debit card wasn't working and the bank was closed and the customer service queue was taking forever. He let me e-Transfer him money and he paid for my order. Truly above and beyond and saved me from going home empty handed (And I live out of town).

Recently they have gotten a new manager and you can almost feel the tension with the workers. he disrespects the workers as well as the customers, one of the ladies who helped me mentioned he's leaving in a year. Honestly a year won't be soon enough. i know its petty but he gives me the creeps and i can tell staff aren't happy any more.

My last click and collect ever.... I'm switching to Save On deliveries. I am so tired of being shorted something and having to go inside to retrieve it. The wait times to pick up something you have messaged me to come and get is rediculous... and no a pack of gum is not making me feel better about $20 in items I needed for my week missing or having to wait 30 minutes in my car to pick up what of my order actually made it. The whole experience which I have tried half a dozen times now has made me feel very unvalued as a customer. It made me feel as though Loblaws doesn't give a fudge that my time is valuable and they've wasted it.

The store is pleasant. It's more stylish than the other Superstores. When you buy bulk foods like candy or peanuts, the plastic scooper is crystal clear as if it were designed for a king! It makes the other Superstores look kinda shabby by comparison. Besides that, everything is near identical to other Superstores. Same products, same prices, pretty much the same store layout. The location is rather convenient for me. They had some gargantuan lobsters in this store. There was one tank of regular lobsters, then these huge ones where each lobster was about the size of a full grown cat! I would never buy the lobsters, of course, too expensive for me. Still, it's fun to watch them do their thing. If you're in the market for a cat-sized lobster, look no further.

Prices are awesome when there is a 50% discount which they had that discount once a year I guess. Quality is good. It will take a little bit of time for them during the discount event to get your order ready. The North and East branch are the chosen branches for optical. So you can have better choices in those two.

REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE maillardville A friend of mine had a birthday coming up early in this month, so rather than buy her a birthday cake like I did last time, I thought it might be nice to make her one myself...So, I bought a Duncan Hine's red velvet cake mix and a container of philly white cake icing and some bright pink candles. Superstore has a good selection of baking products to choose from... I also got some strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries from their produce department. I placed some of the fruit between the two layers of the bunt cakes and garnished the top and around the perimeter of the cake after I iced it a very pale greenish blue grey. I hope that she likes it... Happy birthday! They offer a wide range of products and services at this location. There is a variety of food, pharmacy, electronic products, mens, women's & children's clothing, houseware supplies, etc. This store is on seguin drive off king edward, lucille starr or schoolhouse and even directly off lougheed highway near the gas bar. There is a fair amount of parking. Bring a loonie for the buggy. One is usually greeted at the entrance by the sound of Jamaican drum music. There is a dollarama, a pet store, a unisex hair salon, an insurance agent, a cell phone retailer and a walk in medical clinic. My own GP , KD Merth has his practice here as... I appreciate this locations staffing choices as well. If you are lucky enough to have Natasha or Neva or Tess as your checkout cashiers their sparkling, upbeat personalities turn the usual mundane checkout experience into something that much more enjoyable. Please hire more staff similar to them... john k welsh, coquitlam, bc.

Among the worst grocery chains in Canada. Watch them double or sometimes triple their prices during the holiday season. They reorganize (read disorganize) their stores every two to three weeks, just to keep customers confused and dazed. I wouldn't shop there even if They paid me. They're are an embarrassment to Canadian grocery retailing.

Since we loved to this area, this Superstore location is fast becoming one of our go to places. It has what we need, when we need it, and for a good price. It is also nice to be able to gas up at the same time. You may also want to look into their customer rewards program if you end up coming here often. We are big fans of their Portuguese roasted chicken.

You can always count on finding decent prices at superstore. Actually I have been shopping there since I was a kid, but I just thought to write a review. The clothes - good and cheap Makeup - good, limited and cheap food - fairly priced and varied house/kitchen stuff - limited, but decently priced meat, chicken poultry - good and fairly priced Deli - really good, especially their pizzas electronics - almost non-existent There are more categories, and all in all, its a good shopping experience.

Good prices, good takeaway lunches. It gets ridiculously busy though and people abuse the Click and Collect stalls, which is frustrating. I think this is actually probably one of the most dangerous parking lots in the area for pedestrians, to be honest. I've seen tons of crazy stuff here. Went there march 16,2019. Bought 2 potato bags and 1 biggest canola oil and other stuff. I couldn't pull a cart because i don't had a quarter. Cashier knows that she was the worst at all time didn't offer bag or anything. Worst customer service. Would choose wallmart instead.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is the last time I do my shopping here. The workers here are the worst in Regina. One cashier told me that I could return shop cards if it's not open but the guy at customer service ''Sean'' didn't accept it, and when I confronted him to Cashier he replied you should have never asked a cashier about these stuff. Then I told him then tell the cashiers to not answer the question they are not sure about, I wanted a reimbursement, but he denied it and said it's not their problem.

Wow. Customer service here is BAD. I accidentally dropped a credit card under the conveyor at the check out. Very rude supervisor was very hostile towards us, interrogating us as if we were lying and was in disbelief, scolded my mother for dropping the card, and was reluctant to help retrieve te card at all. Told us she didn't have the tools to unscrew 5 regular screws to so we could reach the card, so I proceeded to go search the store to find the tools (which I found in under a minute). The lady proceeded to ignore me when I spoke to her and was generally very unpleasant. The overall experience was very uncomfortable and we were made to feel as though we were unwanted in the store after spending almost $100 dollars. I will probably not come back any time soon.

What is it about grocery stores that they have not fully converted to metric after 40 odd years? Superstore don't sell gas by the gallon but sure sell most everthing else by the pound or by the 100 grams, whichever is most confusing for the consumer. While I'm at it I find their penchant for showing prices in bold letters of stuff you have to buy in groups of 2, 3, 4 whatever or pay a premium while I notice the price when not buying the required quantity is printed so small it always has me searching for my reading glasses. Then other goods are maximum of 1, 2, 3 ... or pay a premium. All stinks of marketing trickery to outsmart the consumer. The only thing in Superstore's favour is all the other majors are pulling the same stunt. I take it the Consumer Affairs Canada is set up to protect industry interests, not those of the consuming public. So remember, if you're going to shop here read the price labels carefully and don't forget to take a magnifying glass with you.

I like how it's closer for me now than travelling all the way to the east. BTW how ugly is that new sign! ????anyways. Outside the parking lot has a very confusing layout. Inside is smaller than most "RCSS"(how they appear on credit card lol took a while to figure that out). They just got slammed after grand opening so for a good while their stock couldn't keep up(?) so I had to go to Safeway or save on foods nearby to complete my shopping list. On the good side everything is new and bright, and they now put healthy food aisle right at the front.

This Superstore is a great place to shop for groceries. They do price match other stores so there is always good value to be had. The aisles are wide and generally clean. On weekends there are plenty of checkout lanes open so wait times are minimal. This location does support their online shopping experience which I have yet to experience but there are designated parking stalls where your groceries will be brought to your car... or at least that's what it seems like. My biggest complaint against Superstore is there clunky self checkout experience. Their competition has much better streamlined checkout stations and the software is generally better in my opinion. The bag carousel has got to go.

Produce sometimes looks better than it really is. Onions black inside, mandarin oranges rotten in 3 days. Sometimes don’t have a product like cilantro that day. I normally really like this place. You have your good prices, you have your deals and variety to choose from. However, the last time my mother went to superstore at Lougheed Highway location, it was not so pleasant. Now let me begin by saying that my mother has spent a lot of money there (and I know that stating this annoys people, but loyalty shouldn't be obsolete in society). Recently my mom suffered a fall and upon checking out her items at the cashier, she asked the lady if someone could take her bags to the car so she wouldn't have to lift them from the cart to the car. Booked an appt (as per COVID rules), had the store to myself while I picked out my styles, & I found 2 pairs for the $199 deal they had on (plus I got the bonus 40k pts). The Real Canadian Superstore is more than just a grocery store. Yes. They do have groceries, produce, snacks, frozen dishes and desserts, and any food that you can think of. They also have home goods like furnishings, ceramics, pet supplies, clothing, and beauty products. They have pretty much everything you need. That said, prices not might be the best. Ample parking in front. Parking lot is shared with a few other small stores like party City, A&W, the superstore gas station, and a few others.

while I've shopped at Superstore for years, I've rarely left happy with service and never have found more than 2/3 of my list. A list which has been pared down repeatedly so that now I only buy canned goods and some cleaning products for my business here. Constantly finding that yet another product has been discontinued, probably due to lack of demand of course, but these are not unique items. The produce is too expensive compared to excellent pricing and quality at TNT or Kins Market. I'm heading there now, my list has about 7 items on it that I'm fairly sure they still sell.

Have been shopping here for some time and there some things that I can only find here like sun flower cooking oil. Also like some of the President's choice products that you can find in one on these stores. Funny enough, I've also got my ICBC car insurance from one of their partners as it's so convenient.

Awesome service, love this place. Eye exam was very well explained each step. All the staff are super friendly and bend over backwards to find just the right glasses and give really good advise. I was impressed with the team approach and time they spent finding the perfect style and fit with no rushing or high pressure tactics. I got two pairs for optimal vision, one for driving and one for indoors. I can see better than ever and glasses are very comfortable. I also got fitted with new contacts that are very comfortable, but I love my new glasses. The prices were very good and the service is the best. This place is a model of following COVID safety and for outstanding nice staff and work atmosphere. I hardy ever write reviews but felt compelled to give them a big thumbs up. Thanks for the awesome service.

I’ve been going to this superstore and things are usually fine but tonight i was running late because work. I had to go there to purchase diapers and wipes for my baby and I arrive 10 minutes before closing time to find out the doors are locked and they were not going to let anymore customers in the acting manager seen me at the door and kept ignoring me he was only 15 feet away from the door. Finally after waving for a while and pointing at my watch he proceeds to come to talk to me at this time it’s 10:57 and the are not letting anyone in I had to give him an explanation that seemed worthy for him to let me in. However he did let me in, on my way to finding what I needed to grab I got followed around by another manager made me feel awkward the whole 2 minutes I was in there. I went straight for the till after finding what I needed, just to notice the same manger following me again. After I quickly finished up with purchase, I asked the manager who was following me, why the store was closed 10 minutes early? I don’t think that’s store policy, She responded with we need to shut down the store and go home. Just an irritating experience.

This is the place I go when I need to get a whole bunch of groceries at a solid good price. I would not go later in the night, even if its open at eleven, because the produce just isn't as fresh. However, go early in the morning and you are going to get better ingredients and groceries. The organic section is quite good too, they have a large selection at cheaper prices than say le pomme, but they don't have the same speciality products. All in all, good!

We were treated very badly by costumer service last night November 15, 2018 @ 6:30 pm. The promo that was advertised is the ceramic baking set which was posted by the entrance of the store...So as i was very excited to get the promo - i tried hard to make our grocery with the amount of $250.00 so that we could avail the promo..to my disgust, we get a set of Christmas light! I questioned them that they should put that the promo out of stock (posted in bulletin board). I told them that i got a lot of Christmas bulb already & i ask them for substitute: like other costumers do...The costumer service said that you have to read the fine print in the coupon, if you dont want it just leave it or return the groceries! Besides, that is free so what is your problem? What an attitude for a costumer service representative at a store where we have been shopping for 5 years! We lived in New Westmister & coming all the way & get this treatment in not fair at all! I replied that is not really "free" but you have to accumulate an amount of groceries to get the promo! I was very disappointed about this incident..With 3 kids in tow & trying to fill up my groceries to get the promo ! Guys you are very unprofessional costumer service! Why not apologize & say sorry that the stock is no longer there & find alternative to satisfy your costumer! London drugs costumer service are amazing! I used my rice cooker for 10 mos & it malfunction...Went back to them with my receipt. Viola no question asked, replaced brand new item. Same with Walmart, they are very symphatetic & kind...So what happen to Superstore? Lower standard for sure! Just concern about the sales not the costumer...huh!

The prices are great however the layout of the store is poor. Common every day groceries such as bread, milk, juices should be at the front of the store so you don't have to go through the entire 10 acre site for a quick trip to the super market. Also the entrance to the store needs to be re vamped. The hill leading from the store is an accident waiting to happen, especially for seniors and those with mobility issues. I can't believe it hasn't been addressed yet.

I'm totally sick of seeing 30% off stickers on discounted items whereas it used to be 50%. On such items as bread and all bakery items, produce and tortalini, I can still do better by shopping at Safeway where they still use 50% off stickers. Yetserday when I was in there, I was approached by another one of their salespeople to sign me up for a points/Visa credit card with the incentive of a free package of cookies for signing. This insults my intelligence and I told him to get away from me. All I want is good prices and a helpful staff to find what I want. If you can't find an item in this store and many others like it, you're probably going to be wandering around on your own. For a new twist, the cashier mixed someone else's groceries in with mine at the checkout. I hate this type of store and shop there as little as possible.

I was having a really bad day and couldn't seem to find my way around the store The girl from the online shopping (I think she was the manager)-Star noticed that I was "spacing out" she asked me if there was something that she could help me find and before I knew it she had half of my grocery list picked for me all while getting stuff for her own customers! I have shopped here for five years. During that time the quality of the store has gone downhill. There is often short of stock, frequently for sale items. The attitude of store management seem to be 'don't care' when you raise issues. Today, boxing day 2018, was ridiculous. I arrived shortly after the store opened at 7 a.m. to pick up a few groceries. The loan employee at the deli told me the deli wasn't open yet. When I asked the people at the customer service desk why the deli wasn't open I was told they were on reduced hours due to boxing day. When I asked what the point of opening the store early if some departments were closed I was told it was for the boxing day sales. I guess the regular customers don't matter.

They have surprising number of items for you to purchase. If you are a bachelor starting out, or even a small family, you may find everything you need here. Of course they are never going to be of brand name quality but I think it is probably the most convenient store out there in this part of Coquitlam. Their produce however, lack freshness.

There slogan is big on fresh and low on prices. However today I bought organic milk which was even pricier than Super Store located at Rochdale by a CAD 1.20. Another time I noted that price charged at till was higher than what was displayed on shelf. So you might have to do price match within the real Canadian super stores what to talk about competitors

This is by far one of the best grocery stores I've ever shopped at. I haven't had to deal with a single listerine drunk or aggressive bum demanding free money. I went there several times. One time a gentleman fixed nose pad of my glasses without charges, I really appreciated and took my son to there and bought two pairs of glasses. Today I went there for the broken nose pad for my glasses again. Love the store but the self check outs no longer take cash. They only take cards now. Needless to say I won't be going much anymore as I only use cash and buy a few items at a time all week between my clients. It took me 20 mins to buy a loaf of bread and some milk and a few veggies. No express lanes were open and the few tills open had at least 2 full buggies. Not happy.

Saw Dr. Helen Wang for my eye exam. I ordered glasses with the prescription she gave me and did not feel right. The exam seemed very rushed as they said would be less than 30 minutes. My old optometrist spent at least an hour with me before. Few months after seeing her, I went for a second opinion and my prescription was extremely off compared to the one she gave me. I am now using the prescription I received from a different doctor and I can instantly tell it was not accurate from this optical.
