I love my classy, bold glasses, (that had just arrived in the shop), from EU, and are likely a year ahead of the current trends!!! I am receiving a great deal of compliments. I am always so impressed with the customer service at Just4Eyes. I have been a repeat customer for many years. Rena has been in the eye-wear industry for many years so she is very experienced and professional. I am not an easy prescription to fit: as well as needing progressive lens, I have now got a prescription with a prism, (double vision issue)! I have never had trouble adapting to my glasses - i always have clear vision is all areas of the lens. I also really love the appointment arrangement, there are no interruptions, disruptions and noises, etc. Finally I will mention that the shop is very clean and following all COVID guidelines, they are very dedicated to their customers health.

We have been going to see Rena for years. She is very knowledgeable about the latest frames and is a magician at choosing the perfect frame based on your face shape, lifestyle and color preferences. Her prices are very fair and she quite often has various sale offers. She also referred us to a wonderful optician who we have seen for 4 years now. Yes you do need to make an appointment before seeing her but I have never not been able to get in to see her within a week. I just got two more pairs of glasses from Rena. This time around I got what are called office vocational lenses. I work on a computer most of the time and I have two large screens that I work with. These lenses are designed for a wider field of view and have amazing clarity at a close distance. I have no eyestrain! I can use my computer all day and come home and cook, read, knit or sew and my eyes don't get so tired. it is amazing the difference to my quality of life that a great lens makes, and they are designed for me!! Rena has the latest frames too. My sun glass frames are from Barcelona, they are so funky and so durable they will last many years. Rena will even change out the lenses when my prescription changes too! I just take in my gorgeous frames and my new prescription and I can keep these awesome frames for years! Just wanted to share with the readers of the Just 4 Eyes website what a wonderful experience I’ve recently enjoyed. Rena has been my optician of choice for some nine years, and she continues to with first class service that’s both professional and personable; and, at the tender age of almost 70, I don’t impress easily. Rena’s latest success story in my life was realized in the first week of November 2018. The story began when Linda and I drove to Calgary for Thanksgiving. During our visit, I visited my optometrist for an eye exam. Because my prescription had changed, I made an appointment to see Rena at her southeast location. Rena had just received new samples of high-quality frames, some of them from Barcelona, Spain. After trying on several, Rena and my wife chose ones that suited my personality and face to a tee. Because the lenses were being crafted at a location in British Columbia, Rena’s Calgary crew sent my new frames to Burnaby to await preparation of the new lenses. When we received word from Rena’s office that the lenses were ready, we planned a day trip, collected my new eyeglasses, and returned to Salt Spring Island, our little piece of Paradise in the Pacific. I’m thrilled with the personalized “by appointment” service that Rena’s office provides, and I have every intention of remaining a loyal client for many more to come. PINK TINTED LENSES, and Rena---LITERALLY changed my life. A little more than 2 years ago, I was suffering from debilitating headaches...headaches that would get worse as the day progressed, and well into the night. I thought it unusual that I would only get these headaches one day a week. The same day every week. After doing plenty of reading and research, I found that being under fluorescent lights can cause these exact kinds of headaches. After figuring out what the likely problem was, I started researching ways to combat. I came upon FL-41 pink tint. A company in the States exclusively sells these pink tinted glasses. I was very close to purchasing from them, but with a number of roadblocks after contacting, I gave up. I wasn't sure where to turn. I knew the box store glasses stores would never accommodate such a specialized tint. My husband suggested Rena. He's been getting his glasses from her for years, and couldn't be happier. I had a very weak reading rx, as I'm on the computer all day, so I called her up, and talked to her about what I found, and what I would like to try with the tint. She was INCREDIBLE-- not only was she so supportive of helping, she was excited to try. She said she had heard of the tint, and was more than willing to help me out with it. I went in, she fitted me with some frames that would "shelter" my eyes. After about 2 weeks of waiting, I got my new pink tinted lenses, and the rest is history. I can count on one hand the number of headaches I've had since I've started wearing the pink tint, and they have been no where near as debilitating as they once had been. I know this is a super long review, but for those of you who suffer from headaches....please consider talking to Rena about the pink tint, especially if you are under fluorescent lights all day. It could change your life ---allow you to function again. I can't say enough good things about Rena. She really is a life save, and a truly amazing soul. You won't regret making an appointment.....!!

Just4Eyes - Excellent service. Excellent product. While sitting in a hockey arena with a friend I complimented her glasses. The sleek style and colour of the frames complimented her face beautifully. Her story of how she selected the frames intrigued me and had us both laughing with amazement, because the method seemed unusual and yet she ended up with the absolutely perfect frames for her face. So, When I decided to look for new frames, I called upon my friend’s supplier. Rena at Just4Eyes. Now Let me share with you that I had the same almost comical experience as my friend, however with one extra, unexpected benefit. My new frames (that I would never have picked for myself) gave me the confidence to change my life and be more authentically me. Yes I am serious. The story of that first appointment with Rena is as follows. I arrived at the Just4Eyes (occasional) satellite store in scenic acres. Before that day I had never met Rena and about two minutes into our introduction she got quite serious about selecting my new frames. Quietly serious. She had me sit while she assessed my face shape then conversed with her assistant, selecting my frames just as Olivander does when fitting a wand in Harry Potter. She hand picked about three or four frames and here is her main ingredient, she (usually)does not let you see any of the choices until she has chosen a small selection for you. I was allowed to see about three frames that she had decided would work for me. That was a little bit outside my comfort zone however in this world that offers at times way too much selection, it was nice to draw from such a narrowed pile. It was also inspiring to have an outside perspective as opposed to relying on my standard ideas of what I think is best (comfort zone) for myself. It was from those few that I chose my current frames and not once have I felt regret for my decision. Rena has a peculiar way to sell product in an age when people are generally allowed to take twenty items into a change room, try on every frame in a shop. The reason for Rena’s success is because she knows what she is doing, and if you are willing and brave enough to trust in her keen and focused ability to know you better than you know yourself, then you too will end up with the frames you never knew you always needed. I felt like a rock star. Still do four years later. This year I went back to her for the best sunglasses I have ever loved. They are unique to my features and make me stand tall and walk like a runway model. I absolutely LOVE them. They were all Rena’s idea. So here’s is the thing. Here is why I say those first frames changed me. I’ve always wanted to be an artist, to have a unique and eclectic vibe of my own, a little flair and fun about my look. But in my usual selection, my usual way of thinking I never chose anything outside a basic frame. I trusted Rena and developed a confidence with my new glasses. I feel unique, individual. My frames helped me become more of the person I desired to grow into. Somehow Rena tuned into that part of my personality and for her perspective and knowledge I am extremely grateful. Giving a 1 star only because I went there and the door was locked. This eye glass lens provider takes appointments only. I learned this only after going there and then researching their website. Unfortunately for myself, I can not purchase glasses here. If you're like myself and can not make appts happen easily, perhaps only when you finally have a lunch break etc, don't try. I searched google maps, glasses, and found this place not realizing its by appointment only. The website is clean and easily navigated although not much to see. Specials are advertised front and center. Parking is plentiful and features easy access from Bonaventure and 99th ave. When you're entering from the 99th ave side, go toward the elevator and then turn left. The door will be on the right side of that hallway on the main floor. I just want to start this off with a little history. I got my first pair of glasses in kindergarten and my prescription has gotten worse and worse over the years. With a very strong prescription my lenses were always “Coke Bottles” and even with newer technology allowing for thinner lenses, glasses were never fashionable for me. Since COVID hit, I have been really busy at my job and will sit in front of the computer screen far longer than I should. The work that I do requires a lot of concentration and my eyes get very tired and dry at the end of the day. Rena recommended that I get the blue light protection for my glasses. I was a little hesitant as another eyewear company showed me what the lenses would look like with the blue light protection. I thought it made the lenses look really cheap. I also thought that it was the latest gimmick/fad. Well, I bit the bullet and got it. Oh my goodness!!! They have made such a HUGE difference! My eyes feel waaaay better and I rarely wear my contacts now. AND...I can't see that special coating. Rena informed me that they are NOT all created equal! I believe her because she is VERY particular when it comes to bringing in quality products for her clients. Also, my glasses are incredibly light in weight! I have quite a high prescription and my glasses can be quite heavy. PLUS, I rarely have to get my glasses readjusted because the frames she brings in hold their adjustments longer than any pair that I have gotten anywhere else. I am from Lloydminster, Sk. I was having trouble finding a pair of frames. I was told about “Just For Eyes” & made an appointment, the next time we were in Calgary visiting family. SUCCESS! I bought a second pair a year later. I owned these glasses, almost 2 years. One pair, I had dropped & needed the arm/leg repaired. With COVID-19, I was not sure, if I would be successful in contacting the office. I called the office & left a message. Rena called me back. I've never had so many compliments on my glasses and sunglasses until I started wearing her frames. She is so enthusiastic about finding the right frames for each individual I feel she's worth traveling from 300km away to keep getting my frames from her (as I have been doing the past few years since I moved).
