Had to contact the head office to get my purchased fixed as the staff originally refused, but it was resolved and I am happy with my purchase. The woman who works there was always very polite to me and I appreciated her efforts and kindness a lot!

Terrible!! Doesn't matter if your not happy! They don't care! No refund! I had my eyes tested in store, picked out two pairs of glasses! Paid in full $880.00 was told they would be ready in two weeks. After two weeks I called to see if they were ready...was told one pair was but they didn't know where the other pair was. So next day went in for the one pair tried them on had them adjusted but I told them they were wrong, it was blurry and it hurt my eyes. They told me it might take time to adjust. Ok so I went home! Terrible vision not able to get used to them. This was a Thursday. On the following Tuesday I called again to be told that my other pair was there waiting. So I went in and told them my unhappiness with the glasses. They had me rebook another eye Dr appointment for the next day. Next day I went in had my eyes retested to be told that it was my fault for not relaxing my eyes and that they would bring in a "test" pair of glassed to try with a new prescription and if they felt comfortable then and only then would they remake my glasses. They would call me in the morning.The dr. Was very patronizing, he made it my fault and said he would put nasty drops in my eyes like the do to little kids who won't sit still!!! Pardon me ! I am fifty years old! I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years! I think I know how to sit still!! Fine I waited for the call. No call came. I went in and asked them about it to be told that the guy who talked to me yesterday has left for a week. They did not even know anything about it!! To say the least I'm not impressed! I asked for my money back to be told that they do not refund!! The young man got on the phone to some Manager who I might add was very rude. To be told that it's Store policy that that do not refund any money that's it's documented on my receipt and written in store. Guess what? no documentation anywhere in that intire Store says no refund. Nothing even remotely close to a policy of any kind. They could not produce the so called documents. And I was never giving a receipt or any pamphlet with my glasses!! Nothing! So I'm supposed to go back and speek to someone else tomorrow. Only to be told that they will remake my glasses in a week! That's all they will do! I demand better customer satisfaction. Buyer beware!! I will tell everyone my storey and everyone how shoddy this company is!! Never again

I walked into the store and did not receive any kind of greeting. I walked up to the man that was working there and asked if there were any deals. He was very short with me, We have the 2 for 1 deal and turned away from me like I was dismissed. I stood there for a minute and then thought I'm not forcing my business on someone that obviously doesn't want it. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received.

I bought a pair of glasses from Maria and Emily. They were very professional, offered great service, and had great prices. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get glasses or an eye exam!

My eye exam was alright. Customer service was adequate but not going to win any awards. Called back to see how much it would cost to get my PPD measured (pupillary distance) and they want $70! No thanks. It's $80 for a full eye exam. It takes two minutes to do the measurement. I will not be back and I certainly won't be bringing my family or recommending it to my friends.

I would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for glasses or even eye checkup. They have an exceptional amount of choices in frames. Maria and Harshini were very helpful in picking out the right frame for me and not to mention very knowledgeable and professional. They made sure I had proper fitting and also recommended the type of glass I should get based on my usage. Overall, I was very happy and I plan on going back to them for my contacts as well. Thank you for making my experience pleasant!!

I would rate them 5/5 for the excellency in customer experience. I didn’t like the fact that you had to wait for a couple of weeks to get your glasses done but this is due to the fact they are ensuring that your glasses will fit you perfectly! ☺️ This morning I picked up my new glasses and this guy Preet made sure that the nose pads and the frame itself futs me well. He even adjusted my former glasses, FOR FREE! He cleaned it and fixed it. I would certainly keep coming back and recommend this store to everyone who’s willing to wait patiently for quality. ????❤️

My experience was I was looking for eye glasses. And then I ask the rayban how much is it? He $300 and then I bought it without any hesitation. But when I asked him how long my eye glasses should be done. I thought just today! But they will send it to LaBroratory, so I will get my eye glasses after 2 weeks. I was asking if I want to cancel my purchases. Since i change my mind!!!! They said no refund no exchange. This staff he did not informed me. And he was told I didn't ask him. Yo if you do have concern to your customers. You should have explain everything. Low class!!! Please if anybody read this do not come to HaKiM optical millwoods. They are greedy!!!! I am shocked with no refund no exchange and I haven't use my eye glasses! That ridiculous to treat customer like that. Prolly you guys doesn't have income on that day.

Update JUNE 2020 I broke my frames during the covid 19 shutdown. As soon as the store opened again the staff were able to fix my glasses . Thank you the staff are excellent. Alfo I am grateful for the measure the store is taking to ensure their customers remain safe with social distance. I will be back when I need a new pair. JUNE 2019 Excellent service. Friendly staff. Chloe was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend this place. A month later loving my new glasses. Thanks Chloe.

Great service Dr.Maria took Good care she made sure that i had proper size , re made my glasses for 2 times for no extra cost, and also ordered a free trial pack for contacts. Totally recommended .

Maria and Harshini just days ago 'rescued' me from a real dilemma when my senior cousin broke the arm off her metal-frame glasses. These have unique, small, and very thick lenses. My hope was that possibly an optician could adapt the lens to a different metal or plastic frame. Various optical shops gave little hope or assistance. It was so encouraging to meet the two ladies at Hakim who promptly offered to check on their resources and take the best approach. A day later the lenses were mounted in a plastic frame that looked practically custom made. This obviously took some adapting and detailed work yet the whole price was just $50. Another pair of glasses needed the lenses bonded to the frame because they had been constantly falling out. These also were repaired on the spot--gratis. These two ladies showed unique concern and professionalism. I hope to deal further with them for my future needs.

Haven't been there in a while but everyone was very nice when I was there. Very helpful in selecting glasses that would look good on me. I have to go back soon and get new ones but know they'll be right there if I have any questions. I give them a 5 star rating, courteous and professional for sure.

Well, I needed a nose pad replaced on my eyeglasses.... Went to Hakim Optical in Millwoods Town Center and they charged $10 to replace both pads and $5.00 for 2 extra = $15.00. Guess you pay them for service Lens Crafters does for free..... which is now located again at Millwoods Town Centre.

Horrible service, paid for eye exam, they refuse to measure PD said I have to make a purchase of eye glasses to get my PD. I decided to get contacts went and fitted them in the room, ended up buying 90days worth of dailies 294$ later I asked for my contact prescription they refuse to give it to me. said it a company policy that they won't release prescription. Just stay away from this store. I have now found out my contact fitting was done incorrectly and the contact don't fit properly.

I somehow broke my glasses within 30 seconds of receiving them. (Too big, the way I grabbed them broke an arm when they fell off) they rushed to fix it before I even knew it! They were so caring. Didn't apply to my warranty. After benefits at lensecrafters I was told it would be $200+ at hakim I paid $0.71 sure you get what you buy but in the months since picking them up I haven't broken them (since lol!) and I can see clearer than ever. I refuse to go back to lensecrafters.

Had an eye exam booked for 2:45pm, appointment was made a couple of weeks ago since it was very difficult to coordinate my work schedule with the doctors. When making the appointment I mentioned that I will be leaving work early to make this appointment. Over the weekend got a call to change my appointment time when I declined again saying I have work and can’t come in any earlier. Day of the appointment I miss a call from them less than an hour before my appointment, no voicemail was left. I called back Atleast 6/7 times and no one answered the call. Thought May b my appointment is canc?? So I rush there and upon checkin was asked to make a payment upfront and apparently the prices had gone up again for an eye exam compared to last year. Some form of communication or care from staff could’ve gone a long ways in this case. I was so annoyed that ended up leaving with getting an eye exam and now have to make calls and schedule another appointment somewhere else. Not to mention my last pair of glasses from Hakim I purchased were D&G and were absolutely garbage for the amount of money I paid. They never fit right and were crooked when left open on a plain surface, they were taken back to be adjusted twice with no difference. They are still sitting in my drawer unused. Absolute nightmare of a place with zero customer service. Will NEVER go back or refer anyone. I was a patient for over 5 years and they’ve completely lost my trust and business.

Excellent service. They helped me to pick up my frames and the right lenses for my prescription. The price amazing. I got them on time for my vacation. I love my polarized sunglasses and my regular daily glasses.

Do not get contact fitting here. I did the training and it was not training. Her version of training was holding my eye open and putting the contact in for me. I said I will do it instead. Her directions changed constantly and unclear. Not going to go back to get contact fitting redone because they are the wrong size. I will go somewhere more professional who knows what they are doing.

Love this business. The doctor is personable and friendly. Maria is my tech and personal shopper. She’s picked all of my favourites and I get tons of compliments on the ones I’d never choose myself. I’ve been seeing them for almost ten years and am in and out with an exam and glasses ordered in under an hour. I am always comfortable returning for a tightening but have never had to return for an incorrect prescription. You can’t beat the staff, the selection and the pricing.

Excellent customer service from both employees. While one was helping me choose some frames, the one behind the counter doing backroom work even helped, and suggested a few frames I loved, the helped find frames to match what I was looking for! The employees helped me with fitting advice and what to look for when picking what fits comfortably. Even when uncertain about what to pick they immediately suggested to put them on hold and take some days to think about it and even compare to other options. The next day I came in and picked my two pairs and they came in a week later!
