Don’t buy from this store! Cheating people as glass broken but i need to wait 4 weeks for estimation and evaluation! Unresponsive and impolite staff ! Don’t buy from them !

This is the first totally negative review I have left. I don't care how much cheaper they are at Hakim, I will never go back. I'd rather put more charges on my credit card than deal with someone who is so abusive to her customers and refuses to apologize for an error that affected my vision. I had to replace my previous pair of prescription sunglasses after someone smashed my car window and stole them :( The 1st person who helped me was nice, but she was new and mistakenly entered the same numbers for both eyes when putting my sunglasses order in their system - I got another eyewear company in the mall company to double check the lenses because one eye was really blurry. When I went in to get it fixed, the manager became defensive and didn't apologize even though she supposedly double checked everything before they put the order through. I returned to pick up the corrected pair and she got very irritated with me when I had problems with how they fit even though they fit PERFECTLY the first time I picked them up. When I calmly asked her to please stop speaking so sharply to me she walked away from me and went into her office. While the optometrist was trying to adjust the glasses, she came back out and started speaking on the phone so loudly it seemed (to me) that she was doing it to purposefully disrupt my time with the optometrist. When I left, the glasses still didn't fit perfectly but I didn't feel like being there any more. The optometrist made every effort to fix things but that woman was so awful I had to leave. Even on sale, the sunglasses were over $400. They work now, but I feel like garbage when I wear them.

I am surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. The deaf or hard of hearing woman that served me (Tina) was nice and helpful and very knowledgeable. (Though she does well with this disability) She is straight up honest and I admire that. She's not out to "get your money"and will work with your budget and takes the time to explain the differences in the lens options and how to use your progressives effectively. She does speak louder and a bit different (she is disable after all) but very helpful. I am very happy with the glasses, the service and her guidance. I now understand so much more about my glasses and it really made a difference. I used to HATE wearing glasses but not anymore now that I understand my lenses better. I've had them now for three months and I have had her adjust them a couple time perfectly and always a happy to help me. Thank you Tina, I highly recommend you and I will be back!!

I've had nothing but positive experiences at Hakim thanks to the very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beau's customer service is especially on another level! Despite my indecisiveness, he patiently answered all of my questions and was very personable as well. I was able to purchase the perfect pair of sunglasses at a great price and I'll most definitely shop there again!

I found service here slow, be prepared to wait a bit. That said, staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a good price on my glasses so the wait was worth it. This is a smaller store so they also have a more limited variety of glasses opposed the larger ones.

I came in here hoping to find good service and selection. I was sadly disappointed. Not only was the staff unfriendly, but they kept trying to up sell me on coatings and specifications I didn't need. Their options on frames were very few and all poor quality. Out of all of the optical stores in market, i found this one to impress me the least. waste of your time.

Im only leaving a 5 star review because this used to be Beaus store and he used to really be the highlight not only of this store but of the whole mall! I only continue to come back here because of the excellent service and class Beau provided to me for over 3 yrs hence why Im a long term customer now! The service isnt even at pars with Beaus but its still the best Hakim for style and effort! Thank you Hakim but whatever you can do you should highly think of bringing Beau back and paying him what he deserves! Shame on you!

Bo and Shae-Lynn not only gave my Mother a new pair of glasses but they gave it to her for free and it wasnt even purchased from Hakim. This is what excellcent service is and how the standards should be when it comes to customer service!

Do NOT go there. They do business unethically. First they sold me a lens which I did not need . Their intention was to charge my insurance more. Despite telling that my prescription may change soon they did not share their policy of 60 day lense upgrade. They are shame to this mall and neighbourhood

After not being allowed inside Iris for not having an appointment or having a mask I decided to stop at Hakim. The most polite and pleasant lady helped me and my daughter pick glasses. No judgment at all. Considering a few days prior another optical place told my 10 year old daughter that big glasses would look ugly on her. Who does that to a 10 year old ? Anyways, the lady, Emuogho was kind and great with my daughter. Thanks for being so kind. Great customer service. Great price as well. I would pay to shop there even if the price was higher than the competition. Quality over quantity. Thanks Hakim Market Mall. See you in a few weeks to pick up my daughter's glasses.

If I could give 0 I would. I walked in for my appoinment and one of the ladies was extremely rude from beginning to end. Eventually I walked out of there because I was surprised how rude she was being. Add one star because Dr.Flack was awesome. I don't think I will be back to this location ever again.
