My overall experience @ Charm Optical has been 100% pleasant. I called into see the eye doctor and the owner was very helpful in referring to the nearest eye clinic. I went back to him for my prescription and it was a choice. Charm Optical has a wide selection of frames and lenses for a very reasonable price and they are very fashionable. Easy to deal with and quick service. I brought in an older pair of glasses that were pretty roughed up and after a couple day wait (brought in on Friday, got them back the Monday) they had the glasses cleaned up beautifully with the new lenses. 4 stars are just because my experience was quick and I didn't have much exposure to any other element of their business.

Had a great experience with my eye exam here. My husband and mom also had theirs done and we all left feeling very confident that the optometrist (Dr El-Mustapha) had been thorough with us. Will definitely be coming back! I’ve also had my lenses changed out of old frames here and Moe and Navid were very good to work with and quick. Charm’s customer service is always friendly and I recommend them to anyone who lives in the area or south Edmonton.

Customer service is exceptional. My father was in town visiting before Christmas and one of the screws from his glasses came out. I told him where I had gotten my glasses from Charm so he stopped in to see if they could help. One of the owners spent well over an hour fixing the glasses and then sent my dad on his way at no charge. Needles to say my next set will again be purchased at Charm

I'd say this has been our best experience at an optics retailer. A kid broke my sons glasses forcing us to replace them. Despite being very busy, Navid explained the options and pricing, and politely served other customers while still keeping in contact with us. Once we selected our options, he was considerate in the pricing, prompt in checking us out and, his pricing was even better than our former retailer. He even gave my daughter some cool shades! I went to this office once for an eye exam and my prescription was completely wrong. I get my glasses online through clearly (always have) and I made sure to confirm with the doctor that my PD was correct etc. I order my glasses with the information from my visit and the prescription was completely wrong. I compared my previous prescription with new one given at this office and they were SO different! My prescription never changes that much, only slightly and this was a significant difference. Now I have a pair of useless glasses and need to go to a new optometrist to have another eye exam.

To be honest, i was planning to buy my new glasses online. But Navid helped me today! He was spectacular and I couldn’t have made better choices. The prices are also very reasonable. Navid has such a great eye for framing faces and helped me select two of the best eyeglasses. I’m very grateful and will be back for more. Sunglasses are next! They have limited selections for sunglasses, but i hope they bring more. The Doctor over there was also great. He was very thorough and helped me understand my vision. Nice selection of glasses, but All pieces are unique and you get the glasses you select on-site so you don’t have to worry about a new pair not looking the same.

My niece referred me and I am so glad we chose to come here. I live an hour away but decided to make the drive and I wasn’t disappointed. The owners were incredibly helpful and very nice. Once I picked up my glasses though they didn’t feel quite right but he said to try them and if I still didn’t like them to come back. Well, I came back and he was SO nice about everything. I picked out a different frame and within 20 minutes he had them re-made for me. I highly recommend this place and will continue to come here for all my family’s glasses.
