Let me first start by saying that I worked in an optometrist office for years. Ok now that that's established, we went to get some frames adjusted that weren't purchased through this office. They wanted to charge us to adjust them. This is insane. We were already patients. Eventually the entire family would become patients. As someone that worked for an eye doctor we NEVER charged for frame adjustment whether they were our frames or not or even our patient or not. It's not good business. They lost out on a family full of patients because of this greedy business practice. I immediately called Yukon Eye Care and they adjusted our frames for FREE! Also the reason we didn't buy frames from them was because the sales person was just too pushy for our liking.

Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. My kids all felt comfortable getting their exam. Even my 7 year old, who is always nervous about any kind of doctor, did really well! I would recommend them to everyone that needs an Optometrist. The wait time once we got there wasn't bad at all, maybe 15 min. and we were in and out within an hour and a half which isn't bad for 3 appointments back to back with 3 kids. One thing that was kind of a draw back was that I scheduled my appointment at the end of July and the appointment wasn't until October 9th. But I wouldn't take a star off for something no one can control. They're probably busy because they take Soonercare and they're a great place for kids and adults!

I showed up for my appointment a few minutes late, I signed some papers and was taken straight back. Everyone was so friendly. The tech got me screened sorry I don't remember her name. So sweet and kind. Dr Cook so kind and took the time to go over everything to make sure I understood all of the information.

STAY AWAY!!! Poor customer service, over priced glasses and to make matters worse an office manager who is extremely rude and unprofessional. Should you choose to come here, you'll end up regretting it and since you've been warned you'll be just like me, considering I ignored the negative reviews and went out of convenience. Never again!!

The past 3 times I have tried to call and get an appointment they place me on hold and leave me there 7+ minutes and I just end up hanging up. They have cancelled my mom's appointment out from under her twice and refuse to give us anymore temporary contacts until they can actually get us in. They office is nice and they have a good selection of glasses but this is getting ridiculous.

Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending. When Dr Hampton was there, it was great. He made mistakes but he corrected them honestly. I got my eyes checked with Dr Cook, ordered glasses and sunglasses online. Got them and couldn’t see out of them. Went back to the eye doctor. They said the company I ordered from DID get my prescription correct from what Dr Cook wrote so they decided to check my eyes again. Turns out Dr Cook got my original prescription wrong. She said because of peripheral vision using the binoculars to check vision isn’t always 100% correct and sometimes they have to use the monoculars to make sure everything’s correct. She didn’t use the monoculars the first time. I don’t know the specific names of the devices they use, I’m just going by what they look like. The place I ordered my sunglasses from will let me return them and give me a store credit. The place I ordered my glasses from said it was a prescription error on the doctors part and they won’t let me return them. I don’t blame them. Why should they be out that money if it was the doctors fault? I was hoping the doctors office would do the right thing and pay the $56 I’m going to have to pay AGAIN for a new pair of lenses. Especially since I ordered the new lenses from them this time. They refused at first then Dr Cook called me and offered a 20% discount off of the lenses which is better than nothing and told me they could have my lenses ready within 30 minutes which made me very happy. Dr Cook was very nice when she called. However, when I told Jake (employee who reordered my lenses) that things were better when Dr Hampton was there, his response was “Dr Hampton would also say that mistakes happen.” In other words, mistakes happen and it’s ok to make the patient pay for them. When I went in to pick up the new lenses I was so glad I’d be getting my glasses that I decided to let the entire thing just drop. But, there was a much older lady who fit me for them. Even though she was not the doctor and did not know the entire situation, without me even bringing up the wrong lenses, she proceeded to blame me for the wrong prescription by saying “you know, we can only go by what the patient tells us.” I let her know that Dr Cook had already had the conversation with me about what went wrong and that it was not my fault. At this point it’s not even about the fact I had to pay twice for the prescription. The rude, unprofessional patient practice of some of their staff is atrocious.

This is the best Optician in Yukon. They provide you with you full prescription, including the PD figure. With this info you can easily order less expensive glasses online. Not all opticians will provide you with this info to prevent you from ordering online. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

I loved this eye care company for about 7 years up until they completely screwed me over. A new young lady was working and I came in one day to get contacts after my appointment. I brought money for a couple months of contacts in case I needed it. She told me that my insurance would fully cover me and it would be a great deal if I wanted to buy extra. That way I would be covered for a while and get a discount. I thought that sounded great and even asked her if she was sure I didn't have to pay because I thought I did and she said no. I'm covered. I paid $100 for extra contacts and left. About a month or so later, I get a letter in the mail saying I was not covered and I had to pay $150. I went up there (30 min away) and talked with that same young lady. She said she didn't see the note on my account and she was sorry. She told me I could pay as much as I could monthly if I wanted to until it was paid off and I told her that would have to be the case. The NEXT DAY, she called me and said she missed YET ANOTHER NOTE, saying it had to be paid within 90 days. She said if I couldn't do that, to let them know. I am unemployed right now in a school to get a license to work. I called and they said no, has to be 90 days. They refuse to work with me or help me in any way. I will never use this clinic again. They have really screwed me and are not helping me whatsoever. That new young lady's screw up is not my fault and I shouldn't be getting screwed because of her. I had the money and would not have gotten all of those contacts. I would've gotten WHAT I COULD AFFORD. I can't afford this and it isn't fair. I now see the way this clinic operates and how they get their money so I will not be back.

I dreaded finding a new optometrist, but they were recommended to me by a friend and she is very pleased with them. I must say, they are great! Friendly and get you in quickly. Dr. Myer explained things, answered all my questions and made sure I understood. They let me test drive some contacts, after a week I wasn't totally happy with them. They took me in and let me try on 3 other combinations of lenses until I found the pair I thought I would like, again..a week test drive. The follow up appointments were at no cost, and I didn't pay for the lenses I tried. Excellent place. I'm very comfortable and happy there.

Waited waited waited. Called three weeks ago to get an appointment close to lunchtime. Got there early and waited until 25 minutes after my appointment time. I told them I could not wait anymore. They were persistent in confirming my appointment but not courteous enough to call me and tell me they were running late. Never going back, their service is a commodity and I can get just as good service almost anywhere.

When you first arrive,, the receptionists are very courteous, polite, and ready to get you checked in. Dr. Meyers is very professional and does his due diligence to make you feel right at home. He doesn't rush you to get to the next patient. Check out is easy, and they take the time to tell you everything your insurance provides in case you want new frames. They take their time and ask if you want to look at frames and at your own pace. I would recommend this place time and time again.

Worst experience ever at an eye doctor. Waited an 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room before even being seen and I had an appt. Then they send a new girl to help me that had no idea what she was doing. She takes my blood pressure and when I asked her if it was good she said she didn't know. Then a week later I go in to get my glasses and they filled the wrong prescription!!! The office manager Kristy Roads apologized and said they would compensate me by mailing my glasses for free to me along with some spray and wipes. When I asked her to discount some of the money I paid she refused and blamed it on the insurance and said she couldn't, ( somebody pays for the wages around that place, they don't work for free). When I asked her what if the prescription is wrong, she precedes to tell me that if I am not happy I can take my business elsewhere. I had to take 2 of my hard earned vacation days off work to be treated like a piece of poop. This place does not care about people at all. They just want our money. Stay clear of this place they call a buisness.

Front desk and the assistant were perfect, so nice. The eye doctor on the other hand… I told her my daughter has autism and she’s non verbal I also told her that she doesn’t do well with bright lights well they told me that dialating can make light sensitivity extra which my daughter already has the issue well she tried shining the bright light in her eyes multiple times asked me 3X what my daughter likes to watch on tv when I told her already she usually doesn’t like to watch cartoons so regardless what she put on she wouldn’t pay attention to. Then after 40 min of being there maybe 45 she told me well we will have to refer you to okc which I asked well what do they do and she said the same thing but they are better with kids. It’s so hard already having to put my autistic 3 year old through that the dialating was a lot for her and to have her stress more just breaks my heart. So if you have a disabled kiddo I don’t recommend I’m sorry.

Was told I needed glasses by one "Doctor" here and the very next appointment was told I had 20/20 vision. So I went to another eye doctor in Mustang and he told me nope, your vision is great. Turns out, it was the owner of this place who told me I needed glasses, what an idiot. Clearly he cares about the $$ more than the person, office manager was an idiot too. Very disappointed in this place, never going back.

The doctor , staff and office are nice but I ordered my glasses from them on 12/6/2012 and was told it would take 5-8 days. As of 01/02/2013 and I still do not have my glasses. They told me they would be in this week but of course that is what they told me last week as well. I didn't order anything special or fancy just regular single vision glases. If it is going to take 4 weeks to get glasses they need to tell you that. If I had know it was going to take that long I would have went to one of the other two dozen places in the where you can get your glasses the same day.
