The whole team was lovely, the exam was super fast and it was so cool to see the retinal imaging - I also got lost on my way to the office and the girls at the desk helped me out and gave me very good directions over the phone! $70 contact lens "fitting" was unacceptable. Was not provided info by receptionist on the process and details of appointment. The most recent visit I waited 30+ minutes to see the doctor and was unaware the fitting is charged. As a regular contact wearer this was extremely unnecessary. The "fitting" itself was washing my hands and putting on the contacts.

If you want prompt service, call backs and good service, this is not your spot, shop around. The staff are too busy watching memes on their phones to return calls. I've moved on to a better Dr. at 55 Bloor street. Don't waste your time. Update: these clowns had the audacity to call me for an annual checkup. Duh. I'm with Toronto Eyecare and they're professional, friendly and courteous to their customers. You should check them out.

Actually it was excellent experience , from the reception where i was handled in much care with friendly smile and i have done my eye examinations. After that i met a really professional Dr.Sara she is awesome , she listen to me and took my medical history , and have done multiple examinations to check my eyes, and gave me very detailed illustration. The place is very clean and tidy and they have high tech medical investigation tools. my examination took around 10-15 mins. I totally recommend YorkVille Eye care for eye checkups and especially Dr.Sara. Thanks

The service was good, but the pricing was not transparent, and I was charged more than expected. When I arrived at the centre, I expected my insurance to cover the eye test at 100%. I did not see any indication that it would be exceeding it, and the front desk did not warn me either after I told them that I would be using my insurance. The tests were run and only then I was informed that my insurance was not covering the test in full. The insurance later told me that the centre had set up its pricing to exceed the recommended range by over 20%. I believe that I should have been notified about this before running the tests. UPD I contacted the office as it was suggested in the reply, but unlike in the reply, they did not seem to care.

Great experience, I found my new eye doctor. I was able to book the appointment online. The bill directly to Sun life, which is pretty helpful. The equipment is current and they performed a full eye check-up.

Great experience. The clinic was able to fit me in for a last minute appointment. Clean office, good COVID protocol, and a very friendly and welcoming admin. Dr. Samii was very knowledgeable and help diagnose an eye issue I have been having for several months, was even able to squeeze me in for an urgent follow-up a couple of days later. Would highly recommend.

I was there for an eye test on Saturday afternoon. The doctor was really in a rush to finish up the session. The worst part was when she sneezed and had to use a tissue to clean her right hand. She didn’t have enough time to sanitize at least her own hand. By the way it was a different experience from my last visits of other Lens Crafters.

Worst experience ever. DO NOT GO IN. I decided to go in on a whim and after my eye test I was told that my eye sight was so bad that I would be reported. They took my drivers license and now I will have to deal with the ministry. Best of all I got my eyes retested elsewhere and they could not believe that my tiny eye prescription would warrant reporting to the ministry. Thanks for nothing. Oh they also wanted me to buy their lenses and gave me a 7 day trial where I will have to come back and purchase. So now I cannot drive without purchasing their lenses. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.
