I was very surprised to read ANY negative reviews and can only assume that they were talking about somewhere else. The service was excellent. Most times at a exam the exam is done so fast and there is very little time for questions. This was a very relaxed service and Dr. Vagner took the time to explain my treatment and what things can help in the future. I was extremely happy with my experience. My experience was amazing. I had hear about Dr. Vagner from my mother in-law for a few years. I now understand why my father in-law and her love it so much here. My husband has also been a patient for a few years and he too loves visiting this clinic. The truth is that not only Dr Vagner is an excellent and caring Dr. but so is everyone else in this clinic. They are meticulous when examining you. Dr. Vagners and everyone here at York Mills Eye Care actually care about the quality of the service that they are giving and the health of your eyes. For first time in 20 years I am getting my prior optometrist to send over my files to my new optometrist because Dr. Vagners asked me regarding an issue that je noticed. This shows me how important his patients are to him. My whole family come to York Mills Eye Care and we will be staying there for decades.

I highly recommend Dr. Vagners. I have been seeing him for many years. He is extremely thorough and caring. He has recommended me to a Specialist when necessary because of my diabetes which can affect your eyes. I did require lazer work. You don't feel rushed. He answers all of your questions. His lab is very high tech and his employees are friendly and very helpful. Just had my prescription changed for my contacts and eyeglass. As usual the prescription is bang on! It feels like going to see family. Lovely experience!

Very good experience! Very professional and welcoming environment. For several different reasons, both personal and provincial, I had to keep postponing my appointments. They were very patient with me, and let me know of any convenient dates for upcoming appointments. Because of the OHIP situation, a lot of optometrists were not taking under 18 appointments, but they still let me book one for when the strike was over. My visit was comfortable, and Doctor Vagners very thoroughly explained the different aspects of my eyesight. Checking in was quite fast, and the optical manager was really nice. :-) 10/10

Dropped in because the lense in my glasses popped out. The ladies were amazing. Helped me with my missing lense right away and fit all 3 pairs for me while I was waiting. The glasses fit better than when I first bought them. Especially my La Mata frames. I never wore them because despite getting them fitted twice,. They just weren't comfortable. Ioulia fixed them in a flash and now they fit perfectly. Thank you Ioulia and Evelyn. Excellent customer service.

The most recent purchase I got ripped off by this clinic. I bought 4 pairs of glasses less than 1 year ago 3 of the 4 glasses are no longer usable. Spent 1000s of dollars. 2 of the glasses were defective upon purchase. We reached out and the solution was adjustments but the frames on one pair was clearly damaged by the person that worked there when we first came to have them fitted. No refund offered even though theres 30 day guarantee this wasn't honoured. The second pair upon receipt the prescription wasn't good and we were unable to use the glasses again no warranty just requested for us to come back in have them adjusted. Third pair appears to be a knock off from Mauie Jim as the mauie jim company will not honour a warranty as they claim it's not one of their frames. I grew up going here but it's clearly changed not a recommended place to purchase lenses or frames.
