I feel so grateful for Darren Singh & Image Optometry in Park Royal. It’s starts with being able to try on the temporary prescription that Darren sets up for you. They make sure you get exactly the right glasses for you and your needs. They also have great assortment of choices and brands when it comes to decision time. Overall I just can’t say enough how appreciative I am for their care and attention to detail. I am a tennis player and I needed glasses that would work on the court and off... these glasses give me the best 20-20 ever! Thanks so much!

Very bad service. Unfriendly, late and rude. The Dr who did eye exam was nice but the guy who does the glasses and sell lenses is very arrogant, pushy and very unfriendly!!! I wear glasses all my life and I've been to lots. This man whatever his name is was the worst I have ever seen in 57 years.

My service was very seamless. I came a little late but the staff accommodated me and still provided really good service. Products were reasonably priced, and the doctor gave me a thorough exam that I actually haven't received before he even told me what some things in my eyes meant. A thorough eye exam and wonderful staff. The young lady that helped me was very sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Singh was professional and efficient, yet personable. I did not feel pressured at any time to purchase frames from their stock and welcomed the idea of bringing in my own frames. The price points were clearly laid out for various options. The negative reviews I have read do not reflect my experience in any way. I am disappointed to read about the possibility of a competitor's trolling of this company on Google and would advise consumers to thoroughly research their choices by keeping in mind that not all reviews are authentic. Good for you Image Optometry for calling them out!

I found Dr. Singh to be a very professional, knowledgable and courteous doctor. He explained all procedures, he was conducting in a thorough and concise manner. He was patient and took his time during the eye exam. The staff was friendly and gave very honest opinions as to which frames suited my face. They helped me pick a frame which was the best fit and not necessarily the most expensive. I was very happy with the whole experience and highly recommend image optometry for all your vision needs.

The staff here is terrible! I bought a pair of glasses and when I went to pick them up, I asked the staff to help me adjust the nose pads as they were uncomfortable. The 2 staff there were so impatient and didn't solve the problem. On my second visit, I tried to ask for help again cause the pads were cutting my nose, but their attitude was even worse. I finally had to fix it by myself and they told me it’s all on me if the glasses are broken. They also forgot to return the receipt to me...I will never visit this shop again

Dr Darren is professional and thorough in his exam and I really appreciate that he takes the time to clearly explain everything, something most optometrists skip. I would also recommend talking kids to see him, as he's excellent with children.

I am a repeat customer to this location. The staff and optometrist are amazing and supportive. Great assistance with finding the right pair of glasses and sunglasses. I was also informed I may have glaucoma, and the the optometrist was very compassionate and gentle with her delivery of the message. Love this place! Highly recommend!

Don't listen to the snarky reviews! Dr. Darren S. is a meticulous professional! He spent the time to make sure my prescription for both my contacts and my glasses were right. Much better than my optometrist in Calgary (Glenmore Landing Optometry which is considered a high end, very well rated center in the heart of SW Calgary). The support staff also helped me pick out some new frames**, they were honest about how they looked in a polite and professional manner. Don't listen to the reviews, this place is 5 star! Thanks Darren and team! I look forward to picking up my glasses.

I personally think that the current staff are fantastic! Dr Darren Singh has been unbelievably helpful with an eye problem I have which is beyond the normal service of an Optometrist’s. He saw me as a walk in after I bought 2 pairs of glasses from Groupon. He took the time to source a viral treating eye drop whoch was scarce in Vancouver, no pharmacies had it but he made a bunch of calls and found it for me in Burnaby. He saw me again the next day and will see me again next week,just to make sure my eye is okay. Amazing service! I also think the deal you get with Groupon is very fair and if you just want the basic package then you can stick with it but it makes sense to upgrade your lens coating and well frame choice is a personal thing but the frames included are fine. I don’t feel some of the negative posts here are relevant to the current staff and if so, I can’t see how they are objective. I could not have had a better experience than I had with them and will recommend the them whole heartedly!

Not a good serive at all.. the lady work there with act like she own the place and no respect. I asked her to adjust my glasses and she just grabbed and walk back without saying any words.. Then she brought it back and said she is not able to adjust! But LensCrafters could do it.. Very unfriendly...

Had to ship glasses back 3 times because of wrong prescription determined by this doctor. And still the final pair came back with a defective lense (small spot that you can't clean. Did not have the energy to fight them.. Do not recommended.

Went here with a Groupon $80 for an eye exam, frames, lenses, and contacts. Staff were very friendly and polite. Doctor seemed very knowledgeable... Little did I know they were "buttering" me up and up-selling me with lenses that weren't included in the Groupon. And they said contact lenses were extra charge! Now I'm back here looking for my money back and apparently they have "no refund policy" which was only apparent when the fee was already paid and the receipt was printed. Im arguing with the receptionist who is like a robot with no sympathy and clearly knew they were finding loopholes to get money out of you. Hope this location is only like this because I have heard great things about the other locations. These guys are scum bags. DON'T GO HERE!!!

After checking prices at many stores, these guys gave me the best prices. i must admit there were problems with my first lenses but this was likely due to my sensitive eyes... anyhow, the owner bent over backwards to accommodate me, replaced the lenses, and the end result was the best glasses i have ever had. i don't normally give reviews and certainly not 5 stars, but they earned them. This doctor gave me the wrong prescription for both my glasses and contacts, this visit has been a complete waste of my money. Beware, stay away from this doctor and see someone else. I am unable to use my glasses or my contact lenses. He refused to help or take any ownership for the wrong prescription. I believe what he did was unacceptable. His wrong prescription caused me irritated eyes and gave me many headaches. His response was very nonchalant . He told me to conduct another eye exam on my expense with him. I later went to a different doctor to get tested and my prescription has remained the same for many years proving that his prescription was infact incorrect. I would not recommend this location only because of the practicing Dr. Singh.

Dr. Singh is not only thorough but truly cares about your eye health, and is knowledgeable on treatment options. The staff are polite and friendly, and know how to choose and fit a pair of glasses to suit your needs. They are also knowledgeable on the options available to help customize your eyeglasses to suit your lifestyle. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

The only optical in Greater Vancouver Area that will charge you $169 for an eye exam which others will do for less $100...please consider the fact that same customer could potentially buy glasses as well. Overall good experience, would go back but $169 for an eye exam seems excessive.

Id have to agree with the below posts. The customer service there is horrendous. Just go for the eye exam and nothing else. They have a horrible selection of cheap glasses anyways and when they say that someone will call you when your order is ready that is a flat out lie, no one will bother to call you and when they do a week later they dont even have the courage to leave you a message. The receptionists are mostly students are rude and the one sales person, not sure if he is the owner (but he certaintly acts likes it) acts like he is gods gift to eyeglass sales. Also they will try and rip you off on prices so you have to barter with them. Just dont accept what they want you to pay, even though your insurance will cover it, it is still your benefits and your money. And just reading their responses to some of the negative posts just shows how they think of thier customers like they are doing YOU a favour and if you dont like you can go somewhere else like they are the only vision store on the face of the earth! I wouldnt want to shop at a place that doesnt value thier customers. They obviously have no sense of customer service and dont realize that customers in a retail setting are the ones keeping them alive. Overall the store is a sad one. AVOID
