After having a terrible experience with a snooty sales associate at Iris, I walked into Bailey Nelson & was blow away by the team working today. Dr. Lo was amazing as well, very personable & friendly. I would recommend shopping here over any other eye place in Richmond Centre. Reasonably priced as well & didn’t feel pressured to buy at all.

Quality glasses and a great variety of frames all at a very reasonable price! I paid $250 for two pairs (regular glasses and sunglasses) and I couldn't be happier. Customer service was great and they have a private room where you can try on frames without a mask on. Highly recommend this place if you need some new spectacles. Took 10 business days before glasses were ready but I'm very pleased with them.

Great customer service!!! They explained everything well and clearly. Prices are fair. Professional and friendly. David is the one helping me today. It was my first time visit to Bailey Nelson. I told him the leg of my glasses broke off this morning so I need a new pair of glasses urgently otherwise I couldn’t drive and I have a huge conference to go. David helped me with booking an eye exam ASAP; explained my insurance coverage clearly; gave me a quick quote, and being super helpful and patient! Although it takes 7-10days to make a new pair, but he managed to fix my old glasses so that it can still hold for little while until the new set comes in. Life saver!! They helped me schedule one within the same day and when I went back later, I could tell I was being greeted with smiles even while they had their masks on. Wow! This place is great :) been meaning to get new glasses but I've always been so upset at overpriced places with a lack of choices and I'm so glad I found this place. Chloe helped me out so much, thank you, Chloe- that girl needs a raise or something. She was so kind and patient and knowledgeable about everything I needed to hear. I take forever to choose but in the end I was able to narrow it down. Really happy with my choice. The price was fairly reasonable and it only took several days before my new specs came. First place to go for my next new glasses. Jowett was the guy who helped me out with my frame, 100% satisfied with the service and I’m happy with the light weight and style of it. They are professional and friendly. After wearing them for 3 hours now and I can barely feel the weight. If you ever need to select a pad for your glasses, always ask them and definitely pick the silicon one, you won’t regret.

I had complete confidence in their skill level to fit me well with progressives, which can be very finicky to get used to and take one to two weeks to adjust. Within a day my eyes were happy. I had a great experience at the Richmond Bailey Nelson store! Their selection of frames are trendy but without a steep price tag. Alex, the manager, was very friendly and eager to help, and was knowledgeable about all the frame styles, lens options and other accessories. I didn't feel any pressure to make a purchase right away and she gave me lots of time to try on frames and see what I liked. They also do direct billing for insurance which is convenient. Staff don't hover over you, you just come in, look at glasses/sunglasses and try stuff on, if you need assistance, you just signal them over.

I was starting to feel quite a bit of eye strain from working on the computer a lot and I thought it was time to visit an optometrist, I hadn't seen one since I was a kid so I was a little nervous. I looked online and found that this little stylish store in the mall had some glowing reviews, so I called and they were able to fit me in half an hour after I called. The staff were bright and friendly and up front with the costing and how to apply my benefits. I found the whole experience to be pleasant and I was really blown away by the friendly atmosphere. They have a wonderful selection of styles and options for glasses. I will be picking up my first pair of glasses ever in a week or two and because of the staff and the environment at this store it did not feel like a bad thing at all.

Everyone who works at the Richmond store is absolutely amazing right from the optometrist to all their assistants. It had been a very long time since I had had my eyes tested and I had a million questions so we ran out of time in the appointment. Free of additional charge they set up another appointment to have my pupils dilated and checked (in the past I had had to see an ophthalmologist to have that done). The young lady was obviously certified to do more than optometrists had been able to do in the past, at least that's my interpretation. I ended up ordering two sets of glasses and when I got the text to pick them up I was excited to do so. Unfortunately I forgot that it was Sunday and they were closing at 6 so I didn't arrive until about three minutes before. I was apologizing profusely and hoping I could just do a pickup but the young man said that he had a bit of time before he was officially off the clock and insisted he do a proper fitting. In all I ended up ordering three pairs of glasses, two at the store, one for reading a pair for distance to keep in my car, and then I ordered another pair of sunglasses from them online which was very easy to do because my prescription for distance was already on file. They assured me they could do a fitting for those as well. Really really great service. Thank you so much!

Dr. Lo was pleasant and super knowledgeable during the eye exam and contact lens teaching and was able to answer all my questions and find the contacts best fit for my needs. Jow was also very helpful in making me feel confident and providing tips with taking my new contacts on or off. The team overall was great. My experience with this location was very positive. Doctor at this clinic is very PROFESSIONAL and knowledgeable. I Had some Ocular emergency and I am very grateful to the clinic that they gave me the appointment same day because of my severe red eye and on top of that they billed to Msp instead of charging me ( not greedy like some other places). I did not buy any frames but I found they also have a decent collection of frames. if you are looking for a reliable optometrist in Richmond center then this location is the best. I’m really happy with my overall experience Bailey Nelson at Richmond centre. The eye exam was extremely excellent and the optometrist Dr. Aneil was really professional and he helped me know more about my eyes, especially I have a high prescription. Most importantly, I’m very satisfied with my glasses and staffs over there were really friendly and helpful. They offered me some suggestions while I was choosing my frames and they helped me know that I do have student benefits, which I haven’t known that before. Everything was really easy and fun!!! It’s a nice optical store at Richmond centre and I definitely will come back and recommend my friends to there!!!

Had such a nice experience there! Sales are really nice and professional about eye care. My one pair of glasses was just Plano blue light, but the frame, Harrison in Rose gold, was really good on me! The price is very reasonable and I do enjoy this glasses! I don’t have any eye strain anymore!!! 10/10 customer service.

Staff was friendly and at the same time professional and Dr. Sandhu is a great guy himself had a great conversation with him. Amazing staff from the start. Right when I walked in I was greeted immediately and given a break down for everything (mind you I’ve never owned or needed glasses in my life so everything was a first for me) and they got me in for an eye exam and the examiner was also fantastic. Second time visiting here, such a great team. They gave me real good advice as I was shopping for new styles. Really happy and kind crew that even remembered me when I came back. They’re a really solid team, I created a second account just to give them another 5 stars because they truly deserve some good recognition. They took their time to show me some great styles, even showed me a style I didn’t think I’d like but fell in love with. I unfortunately forgot the names of the people who helped me, but I visited today and they were there. They were also there July 19th. Really happy with the service here and I’ll be back again for new ones once I want something new.

Excellent experience with the optometrist. My son is 6 years old and got some allergies so he was blanking his eyes a lot. The optometrist was very patient and they have good modern equipments for eye exam. Well recommended!

I came into the store and the staff was super friendly. I didnt really like how the pair of glasses I bought had fit with certain outfits and had went to return them, they refunded me right away! Very professional service would definitely recommend this store.
