I have known Dr. Richmond for many years and highly recommend him. I feel safe and secure with Dr. Richmond, even though I happen to have various emergencies, such as a scratched, inflamed cornea or a sensation of a foreign body in my eye. This Doctor would never dismiss any patient concerns and would call back to accommodate an appointment. Last time, to make time for me outside of his busy schedule, Dr. Richmond came in on his personal day-off, that was very moving. It speaks volumes of Dr. Richmond’s personal qualities that are hard to find nowadays. All my eye glasses prescribed by Dr. Richmond over the years have been a perfect fit to adjust to my changing eyesight. He is very meticulous in his assessments and measurements, as he really works with precision. He never overlooks any adverse developments in the eye and would not hesitate to refer to a specialist to make sure that your eyes are safe and you do not worry. You will never feel rushed during appointments, as Dr. Richmond takes time to inspect any changes through his instruments and your previous chart data. He is very patient and puts you at ease with his very appealing and calm manner, even if you are a nervous person (like I am). Dr. Richmond is very knowledgeable and would give you the best advice of how to keep your eyesight for the years to come. I know I will have a good day each time I get an appointment with these awesome, kind and genuine people (receptionist Wendy and other staff are included).

I had the worst experience ever.the receptionist is very rude and unprofessional and she was yelling and very insulting and when I asked to speak to the doctor, the doctor called me with the tone of threat and harassment over asking for my prescription, I will complain to the college of Optician of Ontario and I will never recommend this place to anyone as I was told before to avoid going to this office. Please make up your mind before you go there since no one expects this behaviour from a doctor. Such a shame:(
