Been visiting Pierce Family Vision for about 3 years now. My experience is always positive. Staff are friendly. Dr Singh is easily one of the most cheerful and patient doctor I have ever met. She gives great recommendations and I never feel dismissed/ rushed with my questions/concerns.

They give u the chance to state your concerns and show they really care. Every single person you interact with is amazing. I've been a glasses wearer for 40 years, since I was seven, and I can tell you without any reservation Pierce Family Vision was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had for glasses gettin'. From the exam to the frames to the fitting, all the people there were incredibly friendly and attentive, and clearly love working there. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

About Doctor : Recently my mother had an appointment with Dr. Tristan Faria. She is from India and not fluent in English. But Doctor Faria was so patient and calm. He answered all the questions which I or my mom asked. He is also very professional and focused on what he intended to do. His tone sets a sense of confidence during the checkup. About Support Services: The support staff are also so friendly and the one who did the pre-checks are kind and smiling all the way. The front desk at the optical section is also so kind and accommodative even if you give some ad-hoc request to correct your spectacles. About the Location: This location is very prime in downtown Waterloo at Erb Street. There are ample spots for car parking. They are spacious and easy to park and reverse when you are done. Just behind the clinic makes it easy when it is snowing or raining. About the Infrastructure: This facility contains all optometry related tools such .. I don't know the names.. but they have some hi-fi tools which look so cool. It also has a kids play area ( before covid ) and now some waldo posters to keep the kids engaged. About the Covid-19 precaution procedures: The masks are mandated at all times even during the checkup with the doctor. Every item is cleaned thoroughly every time a person uses or sits on a chair. I would say they are a bit over doing it by cleaning it every time even the same person touches it two times. But it is better to be more cautious than being sorry and it is their time and energy. So I liked it. Overall A nice and warm experience at Pierce Family Vision and I have no reservation in recommending this clinic for anyone who would like to get an eye checkup.

I cannot say enough positive things about my first experience with this clinic. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, attentive, caring, and friendly. There was no point of uncertainty during my visit. Everything was explained: what exam was being performed, what to expect during each test, and what the exam would show. Dr. Ellison is very proficient, and knowledgeable in her field. I am always confident that I will receive a thorough eye exam. She answers any concerns or questions you may have. I also bring my children to see Dr.Ellison as she is terrific with them, and very diverse with what they may need. For example my son had difficulty with the basic eye exam. I can't say enough great things about this Optometry office. I saw Dr. Singh, and she was phenomenal (I seriously recommend her to everyone)! She really put me at ease and took the time to explain what each test result meant in ways I could understand (something I've never experienced like this elsewhere). I have been to a few optometrists before, but I kid you not, not only does this clinic's God given optometrist dedicate his life to making sure your prescription (glasses or contacts) is pristine, but the office as a whole is dedicated to making sure you know and have what you need in order to see clearly and comfortably. The staff are unbelievably sweet, educated, and happy to help in any way! And their prices are fantastic and completely worth it. Best wishes! P.s. I just bought a new pair of eyeglasses from Pierce Family Vision!! After visiting seven eyeglass providers in Kitchener Waterloo I returned to Pierce to make my purchase. With all the proper protocol required at this time to limit spread of covid 19. This makes purchasing eyeglasses a little challenging. Tim at Pierce gave exemplary service. I got a very good service for my spectacles. The technician, Tim, provided me a professional suggestion when I picked out the glasses. The testing and try period was very good too. Later on, I mistakenly put my spectacles on the bed and roll over it so the frame was funny but he patiently helped to adjust it even though it was my fault. The quality of the glasses is very satisfied. Well...the price is a bit higher than I budgeted but worth it. I will definitely go back for my next pair.

Everyone at Pierce Family Vision are super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My recent pair of glasses purchased before Covid 19 were extremely foggy and smudgey. I felt like I was being petty when I called Angie in June to ask for her assistance. She was so patient and had them sent to a lab to have the coating on the lenses removed. She also adjusted them twice due to discomfort. Today, July 22 I just got them back and I've been wearing them for over 2 hours and not one smudge or any fogging, and the best part is I cant even feel them on my face. Dr. Ellison is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She always takes the time to explain what she's doing, what the different exams indicate about my eyes, and how my prescription has changed. Unlike any other doctor I've encountered, she regularly stops to ask if I have any questions, rather than hurrying me through. She is really great checking my kids' eyes as well. The other staff are also quite friendly and helpful. I wouldn't send a friend to any other optometrist in Waterloo.

I just received fantastic service at Pierce Family Vision. I have been going there for years starting with Bruce Pierce and upon his retirement switched to his wife Patti. This week on Tuesday I had a senior's moment and sat on my glasses. I popped both lenses and twisted the face to the point the screws couldn't be removed. Angie sent them out for repairs but she wasn't sure they could be fixed. I made an appointment on Wednesday to get a new pair. The broken pair was able to be repaired and came back on Thursday. Unbelievable. The new pair were rushed and I picked them up today, Friday. I went from having a broken pair on Tuesday and by Friday I had a repaired pair a new pair. Just super service. Dr. Singh is an amazing optometrist. She is kind, patient, and always willing answer any questions you might have. She is very thorough with her explanations and I have never felt rushed when I've wanted more information. She genuinely seems like she is happy to see me every time I have my eyes checked. I have contact lenses, but recently have not been wearing them often so on my latest visit, I forgot to bring a pair for her to check how they fit and how my eyes are faring with them in. These are not daily contacts (so not cheap disposable ones) and she searched the office for a set for me to use that day. She obviously cares deeply about her patients and their eye health, and goes the extra mile. The facilities are clean and well kept. Free parking is available at the back. Also, for those who have young children, she is great with kids. I have a 7 and 9 year old, and both of them love going to see her. Highly recommended!!
